The pastries are absolutely gorgeous--artisanal, delicate, and made with a level of craftsmanship you rarely find outside of Europe. They don't offer gluten-free options, but they do use flour imported directly from France, which is very different from U.S. flour. According to the staff, no one has ever had an issue with gluten intolerance here, which makes their approach unique and worth noting. The coffee is just as impressive. I always judge a coffee shop by its Americano, and Stella's passes the test--smooth, bold, and simple, the way it should be. Amazing! I said "Wow!" with my very first bite of the feta quiche. The bakery is cute. The young woman at the counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful and offered interesting information about the food and business, and she showed a high level of enthusiasm and engagement. The pastries had a gorgeous presentation and delightful flavors to match. The crusts for the quiches were perfection. The pastries we tried had an incredibly fresh croissant texture and wonderful flavor. The coffee blend and tea blend were delightful. Our only critique was that the Quiche Lorraine was a little saltier than we prefer. Driving along US190 we saw Stella's in all her glory. We stopped for a quick snack. The front is clean with plenty of parking. Inside was clean and inviting. Open seating and bright colors draws you to want to sit down and just enjoy the room. The display cases highlight the goodies they offer. Plenty of pastries to satisfy most desires. Teas and coffees available in different sizes and flavors. They also have sandwiches and salads to enjoy. We sat on the covered patio because we finally had a great wether day. The pastries were brought to us at the table and they even warmed them up for us. Stella's is such an unexpected delight and we took pastries to go but will be back for other goodies. read more

The food was great. Had the Feta Quiche. & a nice med latte. My travel companion opted for the chicken bacon pesto sandwich w side of the tomato basil. Omg the soup was great the combined flavors of the sandwich were great. My feta quiche was flavorful & crust flacky. Caveat we came after 1 on a Saturday so quiche was not fresh looking but I love quiche. Not sure how they heat their foods but it was very flavor still not gummy or dried out! What a cute bakery! And what a great place to have it! In a town where all I've mostly seen have been franchises, like McDonald's and Taco Bell, there finally was a place that caught my eye that looked like it was locally owned and I could support a small business. I couldn't enjoy the cafe part because they didn't have any vegetarian options out. I guess I could have asked them to give me a sandwich without the deli meat, but then I'd be paying for it and not getting it which doesn't make sense. Unless it could be substituted with avacado or something, but the woman behind the window said that there was no vegetarian sandwiches and didn't mention any substitutes so I guess that's that. I got a bunch of baked goods, including chocolate chip cookies (yum), pistachio eclair (double yum), and pistachio cinnamon roll (least favorite but still good). The hazelnut iced latte and iced coffee with toffee nut are good, but both needed sweetener and more cream. Thankfully I grabbed some sweetener on my way out, but it would have been way better with more cream. It's better to be less sweet than add more, than have more sweetener and not be able to take it out. The bathrooms were large and clean. Overall, we will be back! I'd love to try to soups and sandwiches next time (granted that they have some without meat). read more

My companion and I ordered an iced coffee with whole milk, and an iced coffee with nothing in it. Stella's does not offer any low fat milks such as 1% or 2% milk. We ordered at the counter, got a number, and waited at a table. At this time the tables were not half full on a Saturday around 10:30 AM. The place was only lightly busy inside. After waiting 10 minutes for the two iced coffees, I went to the counter to ask about the order. 2 minutes later, our coffee was available at the counter. It is disappointing to wait 12 minutes for an extremely simple order like two iced coffees. I wanted to try this place again and try the pastries and sandwiches, but with slow service like this, I am hesitant. read more

Stella's is the best! Their sausage croissant and quiche are amazing, and so is the French dip! My Butterscotch breve is always amazing! And the friendly staff always has a treat for my dog Waffles, so even she loves rolling through the drive through. My family and I ordered a pan of their vanilla flan for my dad's birthday and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious! The food was ok but the staff would be why I'm not going back. Placed a fairly large order for pick up and waiting in store for it. When we left we passed out the food in the car just to realize was didn't have an item. We turned around and went back we weren't even gone for 2 mins, the lady at the front was like what and I said I was missing the item, they looked it up like I didn't order it and said oh.
