A genial little Steiner; perhaps a smaller bakery section than many, but a much more serious café portion. Rather than a few stools near the main shop window, this has an entire section of small tables, complete with a separate entrance.
Service is classic Steiner, with a smile, some concern over the matter of a proper carrying bag, and an extended back-and-forth goodbye.
The bread is fresh, and even at 16:30 they had a good stock of my favorite St Gallen dunkel (or ruch).
