After the dentist did an evaluation the manager Dee (she handles the insurance) said It was not covered by my insurance or that I was getting a reduced rate and I needed to take out a loan. When I called my insurance to ask if a claim was submitted they said no, I got the loan and I paid the total cost . I told Dee to submit a claim to my insurance company this was in October, Dee submitted a claim for a greater amount than what they charged me. The insurance company is paying the claim, now they are trying to keep the payment and what I paid. Now I am trying to get my refund from them because I overpaid Freeman and Dee. If it doesn't work in the food industry I'm sure it wouldn't be allowed in dentistry. Not only that but after having a cavity filled by her 2 weeks ago, my tooth is still sensitive and I can't chew on that side at all when I never had any pain before. The teeth could not be saved. I needed to make an appointment with the surgeon from CT WHO DOESN'T take any insurance according to them needs to be paid in full in advance. TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE! Since I was in pain I paid and made an appointment. Upon arrival I was presented by a (3) page consent to treat form which listed 20 things that could go wrong. I said that I did not want to sign it. I was Told if I refused he would not treat me. I said,"When will I get a refund". I don't know I was told after all he came fromCT. I could not lose $1,242.00 so I signed. I later found he saw 20 patients that day. When they filled out the claim form they showed that they were not paid and kept my insurance reimbursement. BEWARE.
