Our Tesla had a flat tire and we had to have a towed to a local shop to be repaired. Kris from Stegalls came quickly and did a professional job towing our car to the station for us. Would definitely recommend their services. Thanks!! read more

We requested service through AAA, and Kris with Stegall's Towing was there so quickly that I didn't even realize he had arrived. He was personable, professional, and quickly had our issue resolved. We had a great experience, and I would recommend this service provider highly. read more

This place is a POS. The owner lied and is a coward, which is why he wouldn't get on the phone and talk to me. I'll be reporting them to the BBB and FTC. Just a bunch of narcissistic, redneck, idiot hillbillies. I was told I needed a notarized statement to get my daughter's car out. It's a novel as to how it even ended up there but the bottom line is my daughter was not able to get her belongings out. I called and was told by the owner, BY LAW, I needed a notarized statement to get anything out of that car. Well, given the circumstances and my daughter no longer in SC, I said I'll work on getting that but didn't know how long it would take. I was assured that also, BY LAW, the car could not be released to Founders for repossession until the owner gave permission. I was never told anything about 10 days. It's ok. Dicks will be dicks even if they don't have one. Fuck you for making things more difficult for my daughter who is already going through it. You didn't have to lie. You knew the situation and all we wanted was to get her belongings out. Karma is a bigger bitch than me though. read more

The service started off fine. From what I remember in my initial call, I gave my information and where I wanted the tow truck to take my van. I rode with Larry in the tow truck to the automotive shop and he was FANTASTIC! I didn't pay because I thought it was a part of my AAA package (this was not discussed on my phone call initially). When I left the auto shop, I had a lady from Stegall call me and tell me that I needed to pay. I said that I would drive back over to the auto shop and to pay Larry for his services. I asked why I needed to pay when I had AAA. That's when she was RUDE to me over the phone. I didn't have a problem paying for my service and I was planning to upgrade my AAA if needed but was never told that I would have a service charge on the initial phone call. The lady never apologized and accused me of not listening to her when we initially talked. Come on, please be kind and considerate next time. I said calmly on my call that I didn't have a problem paying for my service to the auto shop (when she called for payment), but she could have handled the situation more professionally and not been rude. Please do better to your customers, especially those that want to pay you for your services. I wasn't combative or fighting that I wasn't going to pay. By the end, I was frustrated at her response to me. You need a better customer service rep on the phone. read more

I recently had a service request with AAA and was amazed at their quick response time. The gentleman arrived in under an hour and was able to change my tire and put on the spare in just 30 minutes. He had over 20 years of experience and was incredibly kind and helpful. read more

The service was excellent. He was so kind, patient, personable and knowledgeable. I appreciate his assistance.

Kris came out promptly, was very courteous and actually helped to fix the car. Would use them again.

It took longer than AAA said it would take to get to us, but when Lukis showed up, he did an excellent job in taking care of us and getting my car where it needed to go. He even did the paper work for me so I didn't have to go to the shop. I would give Lukis an A for his work. read more

Larry was super nice and helped my girlfriend and me when we got locked out of our car on a really hot day. He came fast and didn't get upset or anything--he was really friendly and kind the whole time. Even though it was hot outside, he stayed and worked hard until he got the car open. He made us feel better when we were stressed out, and we're really thankful he was there to help. Larry is awesome! read more

Justin was prompt, professional and made me feel at ease about what was wrong with my car. It was a low battery, he got the car rinning and advised me on getting a new battery. I didn't need it towed to the dealership. Was a great experience & will highly recommend Stegall's. read more

AAA tow; from person who called to say when driver would be coming to pickup vehicle, to the driver who picked up my vehicle - they were all super great to work with! Driver was respectful of property and car and pleasant to talk to. If I need a vehicle towed again, I will choose Stegall's Towing. The place was top notch - Thank you. read more

After having a less than positive experience with another towing company, I was happy to meet Kris with Stegall's today. These days, customer service seems to be lacking everywhere. This was not the case with Kris. He was very professional, asked the right questions, and took extremely good care of my car today. He also provided recommendations to where I might bring my car in the future. I really appreciated your help today Stegall's (Kris). read more

excellent experience with Stegall's Towing via AAA as I needed my truck towed to my mechanic's shop for an alternator issue. David, the tow truck operator checked in with me twice by phone, arrived earlier than the initial feedback info from the appointment webpage. Very professional, personable, and knowledgeable, plus David's red tow truck was spotless... ! David diagnosed the issue and is going to pass that information on to the mechanic shop... AAA is lucky to have such a great partnership with Stegall Towing who offer a very thorough and timely service. read more

To start off we wrecked our wehicle on 205! Tim was the driver that was on the rotation call! When he got to the sight, we were trying to decide to where the truck was going to go, and then Tim was like "i don't have fu****g time to sit around here all night" we decided where the vehicle was going to go, he then said "I'll just take it to my shop" we said no, we have a place for you to take it to! (Note this discussion took us no more then 5 minutes) He then said "okay the price will be 185." After that happened we get to the house he proceeds to look at the home owner and truck owner and say "y'all said 10 min to get here, More like 1 hour Bc y'all drove too slow are y'all scared to drive in the rain" tonges we're bit in that situation, then the home owner walked into the home to get the cash! Tim got upset and said " where did that guy go? why don't you have cash you are the truck driver why the fu*k don't you have the god da*m money" then the cash was brought down to Tim, he hasn't unloaded the truck yet, but the truck bed had been angled down! The home owner asked "can i have your bosses number" because tim didn't have his receipt book! Tim started yelling saying " I don't have fu****g time for this" and started to throw his chain around! He hit the truck driver with the chain. And Tim said "I'm taking this f*****g truck with me" then the truck driver said "you are not taking my damn truck over my dead body" it kept going on. Then he finally said "okay the total is 200" after he said 185 before! He finally left after dropping the truck. This whole situation was uncalled for, when all we wanted was a tow, and to get our truck home! This company also works with AAA i don't believe that AAA would like to be represented by this truck driver, and i don't believe that the company would want to be represented by this truck driver also! This was the most unprofessional service I've ever had in my life! If you ever hear that stegalls is comming to get your vehicle i recommend you deny that service on the rotation call! Not to mention, the owner of the tow company called the hole owner a liar and wouldn't even let the story be told! He only heard Tim's side! read more
