Recently discovered that Yelp apparently deleted some older reviews for this business so I'm…read morecompelled to write another because this place deserves that and more. Andrew and his team are THE greatest. This is, by FAR, the best place I've ever taken my car to. For many years before moving north, he provided great service for my vehicles. Always straight-up, no BS, no upselling, just plain facts about what your car does and doesn't need. Repairs were always perfect and well-priced. Not to mention the fact that Andrew is just a great guy in general. He truly cares about making sure your vehicle is in good shape but he also genuinely cares about his customers. After I left town, my mom continued to take her car to him for service. I appreciate the fact that he always treated her like family. Every visit was pleasant and she always called me to let me know that he asked her about me and my family. Mom is now up north with us. Our family's one true regret about moving is that we can no longer take our vehicles to Andrew. We SO miss his fantastic service, his kind heart and his epic smile.

Robbie was great and helped us get in and running again. Due to the amount of work needed for our vehicle, he helped us prioritize what needed to be done urgently and what could wait a bit. He also provided quotes for future work as well. Communication was great, and we were kept updated on the progress/issues as it happened. The place may not look impressive from the outside, but these guys know their stuff and prioritize cars and people over appearances. This is part of why their prices are more affordable than the big name shops that just want your money and don't care if you come back or not. Definitely give them a call!

We decided to have it checked out, to see what the problem was. (We could see $$$ in our minds.) Coffey's has performed other work on our cars, in the past, so we took it to them and left it, while they investigated the problem. A couple of hours later, David called and told us the A/C was working and we could come pick it up. The best part: it cost us a lot less than other repair shops wanted to charge! These guys are the best at what they do!! They are trustworthy and very accommodating. Do yourself, and your wallet, a big favor. If you're in need of a good mechanic (and all of the guys are very talented), go to COFFEY CAN FIX IT!!! The Funderburks Charlotte, NC

Then they found out GM no longer manufactured my engine, so it would cost $7K for them to put in a used one. Coffey said it was the thermostat, and charged me $372. A big difference from $7K. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the shop that tried to cheat me.
