Whether you choose to park on the street, use valet, or a nearby lot, expect to pay when visiting Steelbach. The ambiance leans masculine, with deep, comfortable chairs that create a relaxed dining atmosphere. I stopped by for dinner and ordered Maud's fried chicken. It typically comes with hot honey and red eye gravy, though I opted out of both. I was surprised (in a good way) to receive a full half chicken--definitely a generous portion. The chicken was cooked through perfectly, lightly breaded, and not overly salty. That said, it did feel like it was missing a bit of flavor, which may have been due to skipping the hot honey.

First time at Steelbach. Wait staff was just ok. After our food arrived he seemed to be done I think it's usually nice to check in just after you get the food to ensure it was what was expected or if anything else is needed. I had the crab and Brie omelet and I'm not sure I even tasted any crab. Certainly not what I expected. The French toast was very sweet. Again, a normal wait staff would ask if it was ok since only a couple of bites were missing at the end. Finally, the interior was stuffy or humid. When we walked into the mall area it was noticeably cooler. Not sure if Steelbach needed fans or if they should have directed patrons to enter via the mall side instead of the street. I guess we were expecting a nice Mother's Day meal and it ended up being just ok.

What an amazing last minute move to have brunch here on Sunday! The four of us walked in and the staff to find us a table outside was awesome. They kept us updated and sat us after a brief wait. Our server was amazing and to start with a cocktail I did their French75 along with their Hangover Burger. The reason the Food fell one star short of 5 was because I felt the French75 was served warm. I'm not sure if the Champagne was warm or the glass wasn't chilled but that was the only mark. That burger was beyond amazing as well as the well cooked and seasoned fries!! We loved it and would come back again but perhaps for dinner service!

Farmhouse Salad with Sirloin, side Fruit Plate, French 75

Visiting Tampa on business and meeting a "foodie" friend for lunch. Initially found Steelbach in the Michelin Guide and short-listed, my friend had never been so that decided it. Booked a lunch reservation for noon on Open Table about a week prior, she arrived on-time and chose a shady spot on the patio, I was just a couple minutes behind. Service was excellent, we initially were catching up and waitress gave us space to decide what we wanted and answered all our questions. She drank a local beer and I had a French 75 which really hit the spot. We both had salads with steak on them and shared the "side of fruit" which was one of the nicest fruit plates I've ever had. Steak on both salads was cooked perfectly. This is a great restaurant in a great scenic spot, highly recommend.

Ambiance: The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated and felt cozy. Love that you can see the cooks firing up the cookers and preparing the food. The biggest downside was the noise level. This place was very loud on a Friday evening. They sure can fit a lot of people in here so with so many people talking, you can barely hear your friends. 4/5 Food: we were most excited about the food. The paid attention to detail in the presentation but I'd have to say that there were no standout dishes that we tried. They each seemed to be missing flavor or very much seasoning for that matter. We're told that the steak is what people come for and the table next to us did order it and it did look really good. 3/5 Drinks: very well done. No complaints 5/5 Service: Our server was informative, attentive and polite. She knew the menu well and was able to expand on her favorites and made great recommendations. 5/5 Overall: I would be interested in revisiting for their steak and the drinks again. The Armature Works area is certainly a great location with lots of options. Parking can be a bit challenging but they did have valet options, street parking and a parking lot area.

Most incredible dining experience I e had in a long time. The wait staff were so incredible kind and welcoming, has the best atmosphere. Tried the seafood tower and felt like it was a great value for everything you get. The salad portion was also huge and I feel shareable for 2-3 people. Will absolutely be coming back

Had to check back two years after my five-star first impression to drop another five on it. Steelbach has been one of my favorite brunch and dinner destinations ever since. Consistent in serving up desirable gluten-free dishes, great cocktails, local grass-fed beef, the BEST buffalo cauliflower, and flavorful mimosa flights. The French onion soup with braised short rib is also worth mentioning. Great staff. I highly recommend the valet on weekends since Armature Works is so lively.

Enjoyed bunch with my bestie/sister. Pleasantly surprised at the good prices, food options, food seasoning and flavor, and excellent service by Esmeralda. Overall a really great meal and time. We had the nutella french toast which was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. But the chefs omelette add arugula and southern breakfast were absolutely delicious! We also had a lychee martini and the mimosa flight. Must order! The ambiance was a vibe and our two-seater high top table was perfect for us to enjoy our meal and tape @TiffandAungePodcast content. We'll definitely be back.

Monkey bread and rolling shrimp

I came here during Saturday brunch and everything was delicious! I had no complaints. I had the monkey bread, rolling shrimp and skirt steak. The monkey bread was warm and delicious and not overly sweet. The rolling shrimp was good! I was expecting something different but these were really good spring rolls!! One of the best I've had. The skirt steak was REALLY good. They cooked it perfectly and the salad it came with complimented it well. Not pictured is the lychee Martine. Which was Also good drink too. More of the sweeter side though. The server was nice , on point and knowledgeable too! The restaurant was a modern brick wall restaurant with a good location. It is pay to park also and a little hard to find parking unless you do valet . Overall, i will definitely be back for the rolls, skirt steak and drink!

If you are looking for one of the best meals & experiences of your life, you need to try out Steelbach! This is by far my new top restaurant in Tampa! Everything about Steelbach is perfection; the atmosphere & aesthetic is fantastic, giving a classy industrial vibe. The service is spectacular, the entire team will go out of their way to give you the best experience possible! Special shout out to our incredible server @travis! Everything about the meal was delicious! You NEED to start with the short rib mezze; it's perfect for sharing with the whole table & it is some of the best short rib I've ever had! The steaks are seasoned amazingly and cooked precisely to order; their grass feed beef is amazing quality! The lychee martini is also a must; very well balanced and incredibly refreshing! Again, everything was seriously unreal, I could go on and on - this is an absolute must visit!!

Great food. Great service. But management needs to understand to not add fees without telling people. A 3% card fee is not listed anywhere and you all are a cash free establishment so there is no way to pay without an extra 3% fee that's listed as "fees". And it still gets charged when using a gift card. Sours an overall great experience. Get better management or you'll start losing customers due to terrible processes and lack of transparency. Would've been a 5 otherwise.

Very excellent restaurant located in Armature Works. While this place is known for their steaks, don't discount their other entrees. I got their roasted duck breast and it was excellent! Nice crispy skin and tender meat that was perfectly cooked. The sweet potato mash and roasted mushrooms brought balance to the plate. Love the balsamic glaze as well, which provides just the right amount of acid to help cut the richness. Well executed restaurant with some excellent cocktails. Ambiance is modern and classy, the perfect place for a night out on the town :)

Brussels sprouts

I recently celebrated my birthday, and my children took me to Steelbach--and I have to say, they absolutely delivered. I was in the mood for a really good steak, and they did not disappoint. I ordered the prime ribeye, cooked medium well, and it was outstanding--perfectly flavorful and didn't need a thing. I paired it with macaroni and cheese and Brussels sprouts, both of which were just as delicious. I also tried a lemon lychee martini, and if you enjoy sweeter cocktails, that's definitely one to order. The service was wonderful and very accommodating. I don't usually prefer outdoor seating, but we sat on the patio, and it turned out to be a great experience. Even with temperatures in the low 80s, the large fans kept everything cool and comfortable, making it a really enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, I was very pleased with this restaurant. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu--definitely a must-try if you're in the Tampa area.

I reached out while planning a proposal to my now fiancée at the nearby park, hoping to arrange a small photo shoot area with champagne before dinner. After one quick email, the General Manager personally called me and spent time talking through ideas and helping make the evening special. Even with that conversation, I was completely unprepared for just how extraordinary they made everything. When we arrived, we followed a trail of rose petals to a beautifully decorated private table waiting for us with flowers, a handwritten card, champagne, and glasses already set. It honestly felt like something out of a movie. The attention to detail and genuine care from the entire team was unbelievable. The manager working that evening and our server were both absolutely wonderful -- warm, attentive, and sincerely excited for us. And on top of all of that, the food was phenomenal as always. I'm still in awe of how special Ulele made the night feel. I truly cannot imagine a better place to have proposed. This restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for many anniversaries and celebrations to come. Highly, highly recommend.

Service was top notch throughout our dinner, providing an elevated experience from start to finish! Enjoyed the Early Retirement to drink, which was a slightly cherry/fruity version of an Old Fashioned. The Whipped Ricotta was my favorite dish: creamy, sweet, nutty perfection! The meatballs were tasty, yet failed to stand out as anything original. The Radiatore alla Vodka was delicious with perfectly al dente pasta and a rich sauce! The Lacquered Brick Chicken had the PERFECT sauce for those of you that love umami and I appreciated the mushrooms paired with the perfectly cooked chicken. There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. The egg was nice and runny the bun was seasoned. I could've gone without the croissant bun. I think it got soggy and the flavor didn't quite fit. I was expecting a more buttery, flaky croissant rather I got a more sweet dough croissant. Otherwise, the other components were put together very well. The french fries are also cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Then we ended the meal off with macadamia pancakes. The pancakes themselves were kind of flat but surprisingly very moist and very yummy. I wasn't expecting them to be moist because I have flat they were, but it was very good. The macadamia and the fruit combo on top was delicious. The passionfruit syrup was tangy and sour. My only feedback is to serve it with whipped cream or something to just relieved all the sourness that's on this plate. Otherwise very well executed. We'll definitely be back!

She was attentive but not intrusive and made our experience very enjoyable. This restaurant is the real deal and should not be missed!

I can't wait to go back- such an incredible experience!
