Took over 6 weeks to get an appointment slot. They said that they would have my car for 8 days. My insurance did not cover a rental car for various reasons so I had to pay for rental out of pocket. I called the shop on the 7th day to receive a status update. I had called and emailed on at least 9-10 occasions to receive an update with no replies. On this day I was informed that my car was "disassembled " and would not go to the paint shop until another 5 days..then after calling and speaking to supervisor Daniel, was told that my car would not be ready until the 17th, making an 18 day service period total all the while I am paying for rental car..and after no courtesy call for an update on the repair. I asked for my car back and they said it could not be done. When I offered to pay for reassembly I was then told my car would be ready for pickup in 2 hours --indicating to me it was never even started for repairs... Poor service/ bad communication/ am not taking my car back here..please be aware.. Then--when I picked up my car since they would not have it done on time...there was a nail with a washer in my tire! I know that I didn't bring my car in with a nail in the tire! I noticed because it was making noise as I drove away...so I immediately brought it back to the shop and it was denied...

I specifically told them multiple times over the two weeks that they had it to please run a full diagnostic and do whatever it needed. I don't believe they did anything except replace the battery and charge me over $400 for it. Finally after two weeks, I get my car back and the tire is low and the dash is telling me service required and past due, AC is leaking, and the horn doesn't work. I don't think they did anything at all except the battery. I will definitely not go back!!

***UPDATE REVIEW!!!*** - From Disappointment to Redemption: A Complete Review of My Experience at…read morePrecision Tune Auto Care (Dawson Rd., Albany, GA) On Friday, May 30th, I left Precision Tune Auto Care feeling frustrated, unheard, and disheartened. What began as a routine oil change and windshield wiper replacement ended with a cracked windshield, a broken promise of follow-up, and a sinking feeling that I had been left to deal with the damage alone. I shared that experience publicly because I believe in truth-telling. I was honest about what happened and how deeply disappointed I felt. As a single mom, that kind of unexpected damage--and the lack of accountability--cut deeper than just inconvenience. In that moment, I questioned the decency and integrity I hoped to find in any business. But now, just a few days later, I'm writing to share the other side of the story--because something powerful happened after I hit "post" that day. Later that same evening, I received a call from Brian James, the owner of the Dawson Rd. location. We weren't able to connect until the next day, but once we spoke, everything changed. Brian didn't call to defend or deflect. He called to listen--really listen--and to understand what had happened from my perspective. During our conversation, Brian shared that he, too, had once been in a similar situation as a customer. That personal story let me know he wasn't just trying to smooth things over--he genuinely understood the frustration and disappointment I felt. He validated my experience and took immediate responsibility on behalf of his business. Within minutes of our conversation, he offered a full windshield replacement at no cost to me. More importantly, he followed through. Every step of the process, he kept me informed. I never had to chase anyone or wonder what was happening. What mattered most wasn't just the resolution--it was the way he handled it: with urgency, compassion, and respect. Brian didn't treat me like a problem to solve. He treated me like a person who deserved to be seen, heard, and made whole--and he did exactly that. This experience reminded me that while mistakes happen, what truly defines a person--or a business--is how they respond when things go wrong. Brian chose accountability. He chose to make it right. And in doing so, he restored more than just my windshield--he restored my trust. Because of him, I have no hesitation about returning to this location in the future. I believe in second chances when they're earned--and this one absolutely was. Thank you, Brian, for leading with character and care. Your actions speak volumes. Psalm 34:15-16 still stands--and today, I can say with full confidence: I was seen. And that's on everything!
