My wife has asthma and other breathing issues as well as an aneurism. This unit was supposed to help alleviate her breathing issues on very hot and/or cold days. This has been nothing short of a fiasco. Minutes after the technician left, it began leaking water all over the floor. The tech 'forgot' to check the drain hose and had to come back out to repair it within hours. Only days later, we had to call them back out because it ceased to cool during one of the hottest days of the year. After sending multiple technicians, it was determined that all the coolant had leaked out because of an improper flange installation on the outside unit. The next issue was a faulty flange on the inside unit which, again, leaked coolant. After that repair, it still has failed to work, this time when we tried to heat the room during the recent cold spells. Same story, no coolant, only this time supposedly a manufacturing defect. After six months of this, I'm still waiting for some kind of resolution. After weeks of inquiries as to the status of the repairs/replacement, I can't get them to return my phone calls despite repeated promises to do so.

I was concerned about mold. The last technician who came out was one that was covering my house frequently and I have never had a problem with him he always says a beautiful job and he was able to clean up what the other four guys had not they're very expensive and the call center isn't always the greatest with customer service. They're OK for what they are but when you get a good technician, they're great when you get a bad technician it sucks.

Where we differed was I sent out a rug for cleaning. It did come back very clean. However it did come back different. It had a ripple in the middle and some areas on the border were faded. I did talk with customer service and they were great. We did talk about the one side of the rug that was most faded on that side (border area) and it could have been on the high traffic side. Which makes sense. Nevertheless they were very kind the local Beavercreek manager called me to offer a resolution, a small refund, which I appreciated. However I have not received confirmation of we agreed on in email. And it hasn't shown up in my bank account. I have reached out to customer service and am awaiting a reply. I do recommend them. As mentioned above, they did a extremely good job in my home cleaning tile and hard wood floors.

I am not a new Stanley Steemer customer, but this was my first booking while living in this area…read more This Troy Ohio location exceeded my expectations - and my expectations were high based on previous work from other SS locations. The only, and I mean only area I would recommend improvement is their booking application. Even if you book online, you must call to change the appointment. Each franchise, I'm sure, has zero control over how the website works and integrates to them locally - so this is really scraping for a criticism. I gave them 5 starts for good reason - great value, outstanding service, and great results. I booked a carpet cleaning for 4 bedrooms on the app; which is very easy to use and understand the cost - I chose "deodorize" for the room where there is a pet and standard cleaning for all 4 rooms. A great value at a little over $50/room on average - and the appointment took about an hour or so. ($169/4 rooms plus $25 for 1 room plus 7% sales tax) Great results and the technician did a great job communicating during the walk-through and performed exceptionally well. I highly recommend Stanley Steemer and will be booking them again. Tips: 1) select a service day when you have some flexibility. You will be given a "day of" appointment and booked for morning or afternoon the day prior. The team will call you when they are heading to your location (10-15 minutes notice in my case). You will not want to be hosting an event or party that same evening - if cleaning to prepare for a function at your home, book at least 3 days beforehand. I would suggest the week prior. 2) clear the path to the rooms you plan to have serviced. The technician will need to connect to your water line. There was zero mess from the hose extending from my front door, down 30' of hallway to the bedrooms. 3) in the rooms, clear as much of the floor area as possible - it's alright to let furniture remain, but I do not recommend moving the furniture for the cleaning during the application and also would suggest you not put furniture back in place or move any furniture onto treated areas for 1-2 days after the appointment. 3) immediately upon completion, your carpeting will still be a bit damp - walking on it is fine, but I'd suggest removing shoes and socks and allow cleaned areas to air dry and if you selected the "deodorize" treatment, plan to let the room air dry for 1-2 days without any fans or other air movement. The rooms which were only cleaned dried quickly - within 5-6 hours 80% dry, and nearly 100% dry by the next morning. 4) if you have pets - secure them during the appointment. Your access to the home will need to remain open a bit to allow the equipment to continue from your water source to the locations being cleaned. We put our cat in her tent when we got the "I'll be there in 10 minutes" phone call.

I would give this company--and Brandon Garber (the owner)--zero stars if I could. I only wish I had…read moreread the other reviews before hiring him, because everything I experienced matched the complaints I later discovered. He was the complete opposite of professional. Don't just take my word for it--read the other 1-star reviews. I was connected to Air Haus through another vendor advertising for him on Facebook. Wanting to save on fees, I dealt with him directly, and he offered me a $100 discount. The total I paid was $376 (with tax) for full duct/vent cleaning and installation of a bird cover over the vents. On the day of service, he gave me the same excuse other reviewers have mentioned--that his truck had broken down and he didn't have all his equipment. He assured me the tools he did bring would "get the job done." Against my better judgment, I trusted him and let him proceed. He also couldn't install the vent cover because he "didn't have his ladder," but he promised to return within 1-2 weeks to finish the work. That was the beginning of a three-month nightmare. I followed up repeatedly, only to be met with endless excuses. Eventually, he just stopped responding altogether. To make matters worse, I recently had issues with my dryer. When a technician came to check it, the cause was obvious: the vent leading from the dryer was still blocked. So not only did Brandon fail to complete the job, but the work he did claim to do was completely inadequate. Air Haus and Brandon Garber are dishonest, unreliable, and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding this company altogether. Save yourself the frustration, wasted money, and potential damage to your home. If you need proof, I have documentation of everything.

Never had such a horrible experience with this company. We had construction done in our house…read morerecently and needed our ducts cleaned after having so much drywall debris kicked up. Our contractor scheduled this company to come out for a reasonable price. The company failed to show up every time and also tried to charge hundreds more than their advertised price because they said it was a marketing error. If they acknowledge there is an incorrect marketing ad out there, why haven't they fixed it? It is not on the customer to have to pay a different price than the one advertised!!! I would give someone grace because sometimes things happen outside of one's control, but for the company to continually fail to show up after indicating they would is just bad business, as well advertising one price and then trying to charge way more - that is bad business. This is very disappointing especially as the number of other options available to have duct cleaning. It was a waste of our contractor's time to have to chase down the guy and it was discouraging for him to have to apologize every time they didn't show up. Doing business this way should be an embarrassment to this company. I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone.
