I checked Groupon for carpet cleaning as part of a move out requirement and came across this place. I reached out to see if they would honor the price without going through Groupon since every business I've encountered on there will. They were happy to. The technician showed up early and was very nice. He did a great job cleaning the carpets, but he did break the blinds and was just going to leave the broken piece without fixing it. I told him it would come out of my security deposit so he needed to fix it. He was able to pop the piece back on and even though it was still broken, I didn't end up being charged. I called their office after he was done to let them know of the damage and they said he hasn't reported it. It was an accident and luckily nothing came of it. Having used various carpet cleaning companies over the years (unfortunately, many come and go), we think it's fair to say that Steam Smart Pro did an average job for an average price. The tech was very professional, though the final result was just okay. There was a small coffee stain that looked worse after the job was done, but cleaned up nicely with a spot carpet cleaner that I used on it after the tech had left. A couple of tougher, high traffic/use areas did not clean up nearly as well as other companies have been able to accomplish in the past, though in fairness our tech said they probably wouldn't. All in all, a fair job at a fair price, but certainly nothing that will put Steam Smart Pro at the top of our call back list. read more

I booked Steam Smart Pro to clean the carpets in my newly purchased 3-bedroom home in early October of this year. I was not able to be there during the cleaning therefore not able to see the end result before the company left. The previous owner had dogs and there were visible stains and an odor. We paid extra for pet odor treatment per room. The stains are still very noticeable on the carpets. We ended up purchasing a deodorizer for the carpets that has helped with the smell. Overall, not satisfied with their service, would not recommend, especially for the price we paid. read more

I had Steam Smart Pro clean my air ducts. Due to their handling when removing the vent covers, the wall around some of my vents were damaged and some of the adjacent wall texturing was torn off. I contacted their manager to arrange a repair. While it initially seemed that they would tend to the repair, they stretched it out for months. When they finally did show up, they did nothing more than take more pictures of what I already shared with them and never replied after that. The duct work cleaning itself was fine, but don't expect them to take proper precautions not to damage your home, nor should you expect them to stand behind their work for any incidental damage that may result from their work. There are many companies that provide this service in Tucson. Do the right thing to take care of your home and find someone else to do the work. read more

We had the upstairs bedrooms hallway and stairs carpet cleaned. Technician called ahead before he arrived and got to work right away soaking the carpet. He told us it should be dry in six hours with all the fans going. We did as instructed and returned 24 hours later to find the carpet still very wet. He hadn't gone under anything and didn't even lift up the lightest objects such as wastebasket, light weight chairs legs, under beds...just went around everything and didn't even go into corners or open closet doors. He went over the tops of the stairs but didn't do the sides or around the stair posts. Altogether a very rushed, superficial job done poorly. The company should come out and do the job properly or refund us our money. We have been ripped off! read more

I usually just rent a rug doctor and do my carpet but Steam Pro happened to contact me the same day when my dog got sick all over the dining room area. I have used them twice prior to this. Dwane was my carpet tech and he did a great job. He was on time, courteous, and knowledgable. He practiced Covid19 precautions by showing up with a mask and social distanced during the carpet treatment. My carpet looks as good as new and can't even tell (or smell) what my dog had done before. I had Bill as my tech, he is very chill and quiet. Which is cool because I am not a huge talker. Bill did a thorough job making sure that any spots were pretreated and came up when cleaning. I had the carpets and tiles cleaned at a new house before I moved in. The carpets had some stains. They looked great after Derian cleaned them. Most of the stains were gone which is a lot to ask for light colored carpet this old. I was most impressed with the tiles. The grout was almost black before and when he finished it was its original tan color. Great after but gross to think about what was in there! Very disappointing experience. First time I called during business hours, left a message and it was 3 days later before it was finally returned. After a week of phone tag, we scheduled an appointment and I made it very clear that I was on a tight time frame and they had to be running on time. I got a call 10 minutes before my appointment to "confirm" and that they were on their way. 30 minutes later there had been no communication and no longer enough time to get things done before I had to leave. I asked that they not come at all anymore. He claimed that it was a family emergency but it was suspicious that it wasn't until I left a voicemail telling them not to come that he finally called 2 minutes later to apologize. We also had them work on our rental when we were in between the old and new home, as well as my parents house. After our dog was ill and had several accidents, they came and cleaned. They came to clean the carpet that needed a good cleaning. The guy not only left the carpet stained with brown and a weird yellow color but also SOAKING wet. It took almost a full 24 hours to dry fully. Never has that happened before. Next day they sent the same guy to fix the dirty carpet he left and came with the biggest attitude, angry even that we even questioned his work ethic. I was alone in my house and felt extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. He was extremely intimidating, disrespectful and offended. I decided to record various videos as evidence of his horrible service and work ethic. He even asked me to never contact this business again. Perfect! Very disappointed in this company. I have waited all day for them just so I can get a call 30 mins before the time frame ends that they are no longer able to come out today. What is even worse is that I got a call earlier to push out my time frame later in the day for them and I still got burned. All I got from them is that there is no one else can come out because everyone went home. I scheduled an appointment over 3 weeks in advance and the day of the appointment I called to see what the status was and their explanation was that they were running behind and that it would be a late night for them. I had other things to attend to in the afternoon and I couldn't wait around for them. After telling them that, the guy I spoke with told me "It looks like we won't be able to please you no matter what we do, so you're better off finding someone else." The guy left our furniture extremely wet and didn't even get into the cracks, there is all kinds of dirt between the cushions, he wasn't even going to clean the back or sides of the sofas. Then!!! He got our floor so wet because they don't care enough to have some kind of a drop cloth to protect the customers floors, we had a drop cloth here but there was so much water on the drop cloth that our floor got ruined now we need new flooring! I was interested in getting my carpets clean as I am moving into a new house. I spoke with Drew over the phone. When I asked about what kind of products and chemicals were used he did not know any information in regards to products because he was just the scheduler. He referred me to the website and when I checked there was no information. The reason I was interested in this company because they had a Groupon online so I wanted to get information first before I purchased it since I have pets. Drew was rushing over the phone and eventually rudely hung up on me because I did not schedule right away. I called back and it went straight to voice mail. I called another office number listed on their website and he put me on hold for 6 minutes. I just hung up and called back. When Drew answered he said he didn't remember speaking to me and that the call volume was so high he didn't remember taking my call even though this all happened within 10 minutes. When I asked to speak to a manager, he said he was the manager and there was no one else I can speak to. I am definitely not giving my business to this company. First impressions are important and their customer service was bad. I am sure everyone else is nice. Poor customer service. Bought off of groupon. I had a scheduled appointment between 8 and 11, got called at 1030 that the tech was gonna be here before 12...wtf! The manager on the phone said the the tech was at another job and the customer added on more upholstery. So instead of telling the customer to schedule another appointment because they had another appointment to get to by 11 they went ahead and accepted the work. First off, it is very difficult to get in touch with these people. After playing phone tag for a couple of days, I was finally able to speak with someone and make an appointment. I had an appointmemt window of 8-11 am. They call me at 1110 to tell me it will be another hour. I am annoyed and maybe even a little pissed. My time is valuable, but this company doesn't recognize this. I had to skip my usual daily activities to be available at these hours. The least they could do is keep appointment times and if unable, make reasonable and considerate efforts to let the customer know.
