I was planning to take a sofa to my daughter in NC. When I got it loaded in the van, we found out that the sofa had mice ;( so I dumped the sofa at the curb and returned the van expecting to pay for one day per the rental agreement. No worries. When I arrived (two hours early) the agent was apologetic in her news that they did not have a Full Size SUV on the lot. However, she was speaking to her manager as I was walking in as an effort to make the reservation correct before I arrived. Instead of lying to me that a Nissan Pathfinder or Ford Escape was a Full Size SUV this Hertz Location offered to pay for a Lyft to send me to the nearest location with a Full Size SUV. They went above and beyond my expectations for fulfilling my reservation request and even with my early arrival they still were able to make a resolve for the issue. I have rented lots of cars. When this has happened to me before, the agent would lie and say that's the class you reserved or that they're completely sold out. Even if they had another car in the class I rented at a nearby location they never offered for transportation between the offices. This Hertz location went above and beyond. Best of all; they were honest.

Definitely do not recommend! --- Not a great experience at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car office. The checkout process felt rushed, and the customer service agent was brisk with me. He alluded to my "free upgrade" as if I had asked for it (I guess the car was more roomy then the compact car I wanted?), and seemed a little annoyed when explaining the different insurances to me. I'm not often renting cars, so I had a few questions and didn't have a strong preference between the cars available - I just said to please give me a clean and reliable one. Well, the car I was given failed on both accounts. The silver Nissan Altima I was given smelled like an ashtray and was dirty inside. I'm not exaggerating when I say I had to drive with the windows down for the day of the rental to get the smell to a manageable level. I'm a non-smoker and do not appreciate sitting in somebody else's old smoke that was completely soaked into the seats, so my hair and clothes smelled of cigarettes when I got out. For some reason, there was a warning light that I didn't notice at first, but a warning about the front collision detection came up every few miles during my trip. Not only was it annoying, but I wasn't sure if I can feel safe in the vehicle. I didn't interact with the staff when I returned the car because I had to leave early for the airport and used their convenient key drop. Wish I had a better experience and probably wouldn't return to this location for a rental.

They helped me work through a tricky rental situation-- two moves in one week to and from New York during the busiest moving week of the year-- in a way that saved me money and made the whole experience much more pleasant. I have used other Uhaul locations and other truck rental facilities (Home Depot and Lowes) in the past but will never go anywhere but No Hurts for future truck rentals. The truck itself was brand new (only 700 miles on it), and the rental process was super convenient. We picked up before hours (at 6am) and dropped off after hours (around 10pm) and were able to navigate both processes smoothly using the Uhaul app. Candace walked me through the process and checked in with me during the rental to make sure things were going smoothly. Both Candace and Judy were extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with! This place has my highest recommendation and made a grueling moving process much more pleasant!

Zack was a very friendly representative that met me at the Buick dealership down the road in the rental and brought me to his office. When I was at the office I filled out some paperwork and in no time I was driving off in a Toyota Prius to work. It was the first time I have ever driven a key-less car so Zack gave me an informative tutorial about how to just press a few buttons to get it started. It looked as if the car had never been driven because it was so clean! Thankfully there was a sticker on the inside of the car that said it was a smoke-free vehicle. I was glad to see that because I am a non-smoker and would have been disappointed if it stunk of cigarettes. I recomend using this Hertz if you need a rental car in the area. I hope that my car continues to run smoothly but if I run into anymore issues I will be back!

None came. 10 mins came. Called the 1800 number on my confirmation. Passed to a local tel number. Then to another. Then asked to wait another 10-15 mins and to call if the shuttle still is not there. Waited patiently. Then frantically dialed the local number again only to be passed to another local number . Then waited then got passed around. It was ridiculously a big issue for me. All the other passengers were gone. The long line waiting of passenger at the airport cleared up and I was still there. Another passenger offered to take me to the car lot of Payless, it was closed. I called them now really upset, they said they can't do anything as they're closed. So I told the man who picked up the phone I'm so disappointed for this disservice! I ended up in New Jersey with my shared ride , and went back to the airport at Enterprise where it was a buttery smooth transaction ! I went out with a rental car that's new, clean and staff were professional! I only booked Payless because it was on Priceline. Cheap doesn't mean good service. You get what you paid for. What a waste of time and energy and I hope I get a refund as the rep told me 10 business days. No one called me back, no email, nothing. Been renting vehicles from here every time I fly in to Philly from Atlanta which is about twice a…read moreyear. Never ever had a problem. Cars are clean and new, curious staff and easy return. The shuttle drivers are interactive and even gave us tips on new restaurants in the area.
