When I got it loaded in the van, we found out that the sofa had mice ;( so I dumped the sofa at the curb and returned the van expecting to pay for one day per the rental agreement. No worries. When I arrived (two hours early) the agent was apologetic in her news that they did not have a Full Size SUV on the lot. However, she was speaking to her manager as I was walking in as an effort to make the reservation correct before I arrived. Instead of lying to me that a Nissan Pathfinder or Ford Escape was a Full Size SUV this Hertz Location offered to pay for a Lyft to send me to the nearest location with a Full Size SUV. They went above and beyond my expectations for fulfilling my reservation request and even with my early arrival they still were able to make a resolve for the issue. I have rented lots of cars. When this has happened to me before, the agent would lie and say that's the class you reserved or that they're completely sold out. Even if they had another car in the class I rented at a nearby location they never offered for transportation between the offices. This Hertz location went above and beyond. Best of all; they were honest.

Exceptional Service…read more I called to set up an appointment for an oil change. I was leaving the country, so i scheduled work to be done about 3 weeks away. Just in case my calendar doesnt remind me or that I forget that I even had it set up to begin with, I had asked them if they were going to give me a courtesy call or a text reminder the week of my oil change. Fast forward to returning from my vacation and they had sent me a text reminding me and to confirm my appointment for said date and time. I responded to their text and that was it, I was ready. I took my vehicle in. I was promptly seen, given an eta and left my key. I just decided to stay in the waiting area anyway because it wouldnt take that look anyway. I helped myself to their complimentary beverages in their fridge and shortly enough I received an email of all the workups my car needed and that the job is done. Note that this is just an inspection and you are not obligated to get the recommendations done immediately or with them- it is just for peace of mind. In the sheet, it lists what is immediate and a cost estimate to make it convenient for me. Whether you want the work done or not, it is up to you. I promptly paid for the oil change and I got to walk away with estimates for the next job and a completed oil change on my vehicle. Keep up the great job.

Second, they had cars available for the next day. Third, we got a free upgrade to a BMW X5 (we booked A4/3-series class), some leftover gas in it which was marked as empty, and a USB-C cable.
