[The Bad] * The location and exterior of the place is kind of odd - it reminded me vaguely of a trailer park, with the office building being one of those temporary building units. * One staff member was working at the location; when he is out to lunch... you're left standing outside in the summer heat, wondering when he'll be back. * When I went to drop off the car, I went to use the restroom and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. I told the employee on staff, and he kind of shrugged and didn't offer any alternative options. The reaction was, "Oh, yeah, I guess we're out." Doesn't seem to be a good way to run a business. [The Good] The redeeming factor was that - since you aren't near any train station and taxis are hard to come by - the employee drove me to one of the train station without expecting anything. There are a few other options in the area, and given the overall experience that I had, I would choose another option next time I'm back in town.

I was charged refueling surcharge and other hidden surcharges after returning the car with a full tank. Once they have your signature and money ,there are no more discussions to work with you. Never had this sort of experience at other places. Avis is not to blame, but they should be held responsible for not training their employees to provide a consistent high level experience.

He was helpful in calling other Budgets to check inventory, but when he hit a 2 hr perimeter, we moved on. - Silly "Reservation" policy: While you can reserve moving trucks from 16-26 ft for any date on the website, THIS DOES NOT RESERVE A TRUCK. Per Budget Policy, a rep checks truck availability in your area THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR RENTAL and will call the night before if one is not available. We did not receive a call. With all the hassles of planning a move, not having a truck at the VERY LAST moment is a huge issue. Pay the extra $100 for a more reliable vendor. It was clean and worked well except for the parking break dashboard light -- which would sometimes go on and beep at low speeds. I returned my car Tuesday at 8:10am and was once again out of the office in five minutes. I'll return here if I need another car.
