Cucumber vodka Gimlet.

We really enjoy Steakhouse 22. I would recommend making a reservation unless you are going early. We can usuallyanage to sit at the bar if we get there before 5 but after that you'll be waiting a while. The service is top notch. I have only had the steak but I have seen other food come out and it also looks delicious. I love the atmosphere here. You could go with casual or more dressy clothing and get away with both. Entres come a loaf of pumpernickel bread and choice of soup, salad, or cole slaw and choice of starch.

Always a 4+ meal. Fish and steak lunch specials vary daily but always good. Nice side salads too.

Although I loved my Cobb salad, the cut of meat was subpar and not cooks properly, so it was really chewy. Big portions at this place and the service was spot on. A little loud for my liking, but that's not something you can really control, how loud other people are around you.

What a delicious dinner here at steakhouse 22 tonight. The husband and I were looking for some prime rib and we stumbled across a great deal dinner for two for $54 included an appetizer.

Incredible Dining Experience Early evening dinner today with the Mrs went Flawless at Steakhouse 22 The Staff- Here's where things started to shine today, instant connection of pleasantries with our waitress Danielle, attentive, knowledgeable of menu, carrying a calm relaxed nature. Wife looks at me "I like her demeanor" thumbs up on that one George.. Over the years eating here, we have never had an empty plate on our table for more than a minute or two and whoosh it's gone, Tina always zipping around clearing tables relentlessly.. The Food- Ribs, pilaf, and steak bites all properly cooked nice and hot, with a flavor only Steakhouse 22 can deliver.. Ribs were nice and meaty, not the dry beef jerky ribs you get at Texas Roadhouse on Brown Rd that's for sure, thank you Steakhouse 22 Anyone who says they have Rice Pilaf, and gives you some minute rice with gravy, should be stricken from their menu. Steakhouse 22 on the other hand knows the 2-step and it is delicious.. This combination of excellent food and top notch service, brings a warm inviting atmosphere to the table, and That's exactly what happened tonight.. It's a simple thing really, but the simple things are what gets customers to return Thank you George for an excellent dining experience tonight.. 100%

Side of Mac and cheese

Kind of a mixed experience here. The restaurant is nice and clean, the servers are all very friendly and helpful. The food could use some help though. For starters we ordered the saganaki and calamari. Saganaki was delightful but the calamari is served with the sauce beneath the squid itself which causes the breading to become soggy. Would be a lot better if they served the sauce on the side like most restaurants do. The French onion soup is good, our Caesar salads were ok but drenched in dressing. My biggest gripe was the steaks. Dad and I both ordered ribeyes not realizing they pan fry the steak in butter rather than grilling them on a grill. Both steaks were overcooked, swimming in butter, and not very good. The side of baked Mac and cheese I got was definitely not what I expected. Watery cheese, unpleasant taste, slight sweetness to it, and a heavy dusting of paprika on top. I took one bite and didn't take another after that. Mom had the whiskey salmon which was a very generous portion but she said it did not taste fresh at all. The kids meals are also a generous portion. We had the cream puff and the bumpy cake for dessert and both were fine for what they were, nothing special. Not sure I'd come back here but if I do, I unfortunately wouldn't get a steak again even though "steak" is in the restaurant name

The restaurant is beautiful..nice place to take a date. The appetizers were delicious especially the Brussel sprouts. I had the bourbon steak ( I'm not a big fan of sweet steak) . The gymbo was delicious.

Well, I'll raise you 1.2 for 5 stars for Host!! Ample street parking on a Wednesday morning in Utica (also public on south side), hubby & I walked past a few businesses and into Host and immediately somehow felt we'd been elevated! The ambience is edgy and elegant giving off an elite vibe matched by the informative attentive staff and everything that was set before us. The barista approached us immediately taking our latte orders from a versatile coffee menu, and our lovely waitress Bailey didn't miss a beat welcoming us, fielding questions and sharing the restaurant's cool concept of "Host"-ing new chefs bimonthly representing freshly-curated menus of palate delights. She later informed us of classes held on 2nd floor for making cocktails and sushi! While enjoying our lovely lattes, we quickly ordered veggie omelets with mushroom and bacon additions that were timely served and clearly plated with care. My husband noticed there were no salt & pepper shakers anywhere, signifying the chef's confidence in his dishes! And indeed our meals needed no help, as we savored each bite of perfectly cooked omelets bursting with flavor complimented by crisp sliced potatoes dressed in a lemon drizzle. Easily the best omelet I've had in my hometown, probably in my state! I made sure to compliment the chef through the open pass-through kitchen on our way out after lingering after our meals not wanting to rush out of this lovely place. What a beautiful start to the day; we can't wait to return with more family!! Thank you for "Host"-ing us!!

There aren't many gluten free options for snacks but they did have gluten free crackers for the whitefish dip and their fries were gluten free. Honestly, I wasn't the biggest fan of their fries. They had a strong oil taste and the irregular cuts made it so that they weren't all cooked homogeneously. I did like the nice amount of freshly grated parmesan on top though. I can't remember the name of the cocktail I had but it was named after a city. My husband tried the basque cheesecake and really liked it. I think it wasn't made by the restaurant if I remember correctly. The pizzas that I saw going back looked great and you could watch the guy making them. It would be lovely to have a gluten free crust option :)

As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I've ever eaten at a Longhorn Steakhouse for that matter. We were seated immediately during lunch hour on a Saturday. Not terribly busy and the place is clean and well kept. I like that they have lunch specials on Saturday! I went with the burger with French Onion soup. Yes, hot soup even in the middle of July when it's hot outside. We got complimentary bread and butter which was great, and went through two loaves while waiting for our soup and my friends salad. You have to use your huge steak knife on the butter which was kind of annoying, but that's okay. My soup was good, but the burger was very salty tasting. I couldn't finish it but didn't want to speak up. It wasn't bad, just salty to the point that I got through about half of it. It kind of made me wish I'd gotten the chicken instead. Anyway, our server was fabulous and dining here is a treat. Great place for a nicer meal.
