From past experience, I knew the pizza here was Chuck-E-Cheese-style mediocrity, but today I needed to order something soft after having a tooth pulled, so I decided on the four-cheese ravioli. What a nightmare. Looking at it made me gag -- it was swimming in a pool of multicolored goo, and the cheese on top looked cheap and wasn't even melted. I thought I'd be a good sport, but when I tried to cut into the ravioli it was hard. I couldn't even break a chunk off, and I started to wretch. Needless to say, I got a refund without ever taking a bite. Absolutely repulsive. They need to step up the quality if they're gonna compete with Roma. read more

I ordered takeout with a friend. She ordered the Baked Ziti and I ordered Steak Tips. I requested the steak tips be prepared medium rare and received well done. The steak was not even edible. The baked potato and bread sticks were okay. My friend's Ziti was okay. I had ordered from Steak Plus Pizza before and it had been good but it had been a long time. Where do I start, First, this is the only review I've left in my life for any product or service so that should say something. The food was so bad we were about to throw up looking at it. The pizza was raw, I mean how do you mess up pizza. The wings were burnt which is funny because the pizza was raw, I guess they're trying to balance out each other. It may be rude to give a low rating and not even try the food, but I had a bad experience. After placing my order, I tuned to use the restroom which was out of order. They would not let me use the one in the back for employees. I'm not sure of the legal aspect of this, but I had to relieve myself and could not wait for my order to be prepared, my meal eaten and then find a potty. Before this discovery, the person taking my order was very blasse, like he was doing me a favor by taking my order and answered by questions with curt one or two word answers. This little place has long hours and delivery. We ate in and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. They have some really interesting pizza selections, plus pastas, steaks, wings, salads, and a lot more. My thin crust Greek pizza was awesome! There are only 4 people in my office so we would know if a pizza came. The person who answered the phone said it was left with 2 women that answered to my name. My order consisted of a bubba-esk burger with faux grill marks on it, cold fries and a can of coke. Cheese cake with "strawberry" syrup was also included. I placed an order tonight through GrubHub. My order consisted of a small pepperoni pizza, a sirloin with a baked potato (extra butter and extra sour cream) and a salad with ranch, a piece of cake and a half-gallon of sweet tea. It was supposed to be delivered around 8:23pm but it did not come until 8:45pm. The delivery person called me twice asking for directions to the hotel and for the room number (which I listed with my order). When he arrived, he handed me my food but did not have the sweet tea and said it was not given to him. He said he could go to the gas station and get me something and asked what I wanted. I said I wanted sweet tea but I'm sure the gas station did not have that so I wanted the money put back on my card. He told me that would be too much trouble. So I just told him not to worry about it. After he left, I open my bag to check my order. I had no utensils to eat my food with at all. I asked for extra butter and extra sour cream and I was not given that either. Further, half of my baked potato was hard and the steak was gross. I am very upset by this service due to the fact that I spent $40 and was not given anything even close to that worth. This has been a very frustrating and unsatisfying experience. read more

Everything from pizza, wings, sandwiches, pasta, to several salads, a hefty appetizer section, and desserts. Recently we have been ordering the Stromboli (just cheese and pepperoni) and couldn't begin to tell you how yummy it is! They also always ensure that we are given marina for dipping. (We all know how awful it is to be jipped of your dipping sauces!) We tried their hot wings recently and were very impressed with those as well. Consider them on par or better than Wing Streets' (Pizza Hut). And the best part? They have coupons printed on their menus that never expire and that they do not require upon receipt of your order. Despite the reviews, this place is awesome, I got a Stromboli here that was amazing, the people were very nice and food was prepared quickly. I can't speak on the delivery speed as I haven't had delivery from here, but I have gotten carry out 5 times in the past two weeks. The Philly Cheese here is great too, I'll update this as I try new menu items here. If you're in the Antioch area and not taking advantage of this hidden gem, you should do yourself a favor and give it a shot, I don't think you'll be disappointed. We have ordered from the restaurant direct numerous times. The very first time was slow, however since then the orders have usually been early and always piping hot. I think our favorites are the Stromboli's, and the large chose of sandwiches when we have friends passing through town that need a place to spend the night. No one has been disappointed. read more

I recently ordered from Steak Plus Pizza via Grubhub. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and ordered a kids spaghetti for my daughter. The food was prepared properly, including the "special notes" for my daughter's pasta. It arrived hot, and was tasty and very plentiful. This will be the LAST TIME I order from them. I know that it's a Friday night and it may take some time to get my food, but the guy told me an hour and it ended up being an hour and a half. Ordered online and upon getting our food my part of the order was wrong. Called the 3rd party where the orders go though and they never could take my call. They put me on hold and set the phone down. Since this place is really close to where I am my boyfriend and I go down there. I tell the guy that my order was wrong. He pulled up the order and says you ordered this. Well, unfortunately I know what I will and won't eat. The guy continued to tell me I was wrong and I had to take it up with the website where the orders get places through. I didn't want to continue to argue so I left the food there and walked out the door. After getting in the car and buckling up the man came outside and said "oh, we'll fix it. It will take about 10 minutes." It was too late by that point. I was already pissed. He should have said something right after I said what happened. Why else would I drive to a place when I had an order delivered? I email the website and they say it is up to the establishment to fix it. Really? Multiple emails later this establishment said they would give me 50% off my next order. They should have refunded my order the minute I walked out the door.
