Steaks and beer off a dusty road…read more What a surprise to eat this well in tiny, quiet, Tecopa. The menu is small but thoughtful with great cuts of meat, a few appetizers, soup, salad, pasta, beer, and wine. After a long day of hiking, a glass of wine was exactly what we needed. We started with a luxuriously creamy, well-seasoned potato soup and an orchard salad bursting with blueberries, apples, strawberries, pomegranate seeds, cheese, and a bright balsamic vinaigrette. Then we split a juicy filet mignon, the kind where your knife simply glides through. Even the veggie medley and mashed potatoes were perfection. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. The warm date bread with vanilla ice cream and date syrup is one of the best desserts I've ever had. A couple notes: look for the neon lights out front because it's incredibly dark and easy to miss the turn. The dining room is romantic but tiny, maybe five tables, so call ahead for a reservation. An immense thank you to the chef and owner for creating such a memorable meal in the middle of nowhere. Unexpected and oh so delicious.

Not terrible or awful, but bordering on being a nuisance in regards to time to table. That being said, the food quality was lacking. That is the issue. And it only matters because this restaurant is larping as a fine dining experience. I frequent vegas restaurants who pay more for overhead and location and their quality is far superior and similarly priced. The water tasted awful. Basically, If I could describe it, it tasted tainted by river. Like a swampy dirty smell with every sip. I basically stopped drinking any water during my whole dining experience there for this reason. Granted, it could have been my particular glass was dirty, or partially washed. It may just be that the water isn't filtered and it is tap. However after tasting my wife's, hers tasted similar albeit not as strong. The problem is, the tri-state area has the worst tap around. Everyone knows this. This wouldn't be a big deal if this was dennys. The problem is, like I said, this place is masquerading as a fine dining experience. It should be held to that standard. The minimum would be filtered water. So it's either a problem with the dish washer or the water itself is poor quality. Or they get the water from the casino bar which are notoriously bad quality in laughlin. Next we go to the meat itself. It may be that it was lacking because I went on their discount day, which I was unaware that it was, the special was a "prime" Rib for a good price if you get the package with the baked potato. Which is fine, but it may be on that day they use choice meat instead of prime to get a better margin for price and so they can sell more. That being said, I still ordered the full price prime rib, not the special. It still lacked in quality. Seemed very tough and full of connective tissue. Ordered medium rare. Alas it was Grisly. Which is indicative of lesser quality meat selection. Likely choice/select cuts, not true prime. I don't mind, but they are charging vegas quality restaurant prices but not in vegas. The quality needs to match. I don't understand the high reviews here because I gave this place 3 chances and this sadly was the third. I won't return ever again. You can get better quality if you just enjoy a drive to vegas. I thought it may have been a fluke but now I realize that is the norm there. There is some good but not worth a return. The asparagus and potatoes were cooked wonderfully. However, I don't go to a restaurant for their garnish dishes. I go for their proteins. We paid full price and I didn't bother to complain to the servers because it isn't their fault. I just won't come back.

Service, Food Quality, Perfectly Seasoned and prepared. Great presentation and staff. Perfection. I had The Tomahawk Pork Chop. Medium rare. Melts in your mouth. My friend had Filet Mig and was like butter at Med rare. Ricotta Raviolis, mushroom medley (at least 4 types of Mushroom) Asparagus - all were perfect. I know I sound so positive, but it was one of the best sets I've had this year. What's also really nice, the staff are on top of everything. I 100% recommend Rare Society for a great meal with great service. I also love that's it's Off Strip! The Uncommons across street from Durango. I don't take pics at a restaurant. But believe me - you won't be sorry. Prices equal to type of food and service. Reservations are needed. We got in at 5:30 on a Wednesday with reservation. Give it a try.

We got seated very quickly and there was live music for our entertainment. We ordered a couples share which let us pick a starter and then we had a choice of soup or salad and an entree for each of us. All of our food was really hot and tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. Wish we had room for dessert because the chocolate cake looked so tasty. I ordered the Shrimp Platter, it was 100/100, best sautéed shrimp I have ever tasted! Came with a choice of a side salad or soup. As you can see I ordered a Cesar salad. All salads come with the dressing on the side so you can add as much as you like, I prefer and appreciate that. For my drink I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita with a sugared rim, blended, which also was a 100/100. All around everything I ordered was delicious, I wasn't disappointed at all! When my family and I come back to bull head city we will for sure come here again! ***They have two payment options with two different amounts, one if you use cash and one if you use credit card which is 3% added***

This is such a good spot for special occasions. I think they recently changed their service fee policy and changed it to a standard tipping model, but I could be wrong. We joined on a Friday during happy hour and tried a variety of menu items. We had crab fried rice, seared salmon tiradito, jumbo wild Mexican shrimp, Caesar salad, brussel sprouts, oysters, 18 oz ribeye, macoroni & cheese, assorted sorbet, and the gluten free sticky toffee pudding. As a disclaimer, I don't eat raw seafood or crab so my favorite dishes are based on that factor. For an appetizer, I would recommend the Caesar salad. For your main meal, I would recommend the 18 oz ribeye to share. For sides I would recommend the brussel sprouts and their twice baked potato puree. For dessert, I would recommend the sorbet if you want something light and refreshing, and the gluten free sticky toffee pudding if you prefer something sweet. I feel their drinks are too strong for my taste, so I don't have any drinks to recommend. This place is beautifully decorated and service is top tier! I also want to note that during happy hour they don't have their bread service available. I was disappointed about this because I was looking forward to it, but I'm still happy with our meal. I'll continue to support this business and I hope you decide to give them a try and love it as much as I do!

This was my second time in and the first experience brought me back. Second one convinced me to never go back. First of all, It was very very hot at our table. Uncomfortably hot. Second, The server was one of the worst I've had. I had to flag down the hostess to put in a drink order after I waved at our server and she ignored me multiple times. My customers ordered the Fish n Chips and both were disappointed with their selection. I had the ribeye and it was good, a bit overpriced but I've paid more for for similar value I'm not complaining about that. Let's just say I won't be taking clients here again. Try Cleaver, Herbs and Rye, golden steer, SW at Wynn or Don's Prime. Heck outback might be better than this.
