One was brisket, pulled pork and regular sausage with a side of beans. I loved the smoke flavor of the pulled pork and all the meats were moist and juicy. The beans could use more flavor. It was supposed to be to be charro beans but was missing ingredients that could be the reason it was bland. Also ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was delicious. It is served in a large mason jar. Ambience is casual and yes it is a bit chilled inside but with this Texas heat it is understandable. I will not complain about that. You queue up in the ordering line as you walk in. There were about a dozen people ahead of us so it gave us time to study the menu. Maybe 10 minutes at most. When arrive at the cashier, you place your order and pay. You're given your receipt and the cashier adds a hand-written order number on it. We grabbed a 6-top table for our party and waited for our order number to be called out. Took 10 minutes at most. We helped ourselves to silverware and extra BBQ sauce while we waited for our food. Our potato was piping hot. The potato is opened up and fluffed a bit. They add butter to one side and sour cream to the other side. They add bacon bits or similar, then pile on whatever meat you may have ordered. It ends up being huge! My wife and I split one. They're open from 11 am to 6 pm. We arrived at 4:30 and they were out of a number of things (ribs and some sides). Get there earlier in the day if you want maximum selection. We enjoyed our meal and will come back again.

It took about an hour to reach the front of the line but the wait was worth it! You can smell the smoke and food as soon as you get out of your car. There are a variety of sides to choose from. We opted for the potato salad, beans, and Mac and cheese. All sides were delicious! The potato salad was rich and creamy. The beans had a ranch style flavoring with added pieces of their sausage which paired well with each other. The Mac looked a little plain but the taste was excellent, very cheesy! We chose the brisket, beef sausage, and beef rib as our meat choices. The brisket was seasoned perfectly and was not overly smoked. It was also super tender and passed the pull test. The sausage had a really good flavor, but we found the casing to be a little tough. It was a challenge to cut the sausage with a plastic butter knife and a little chewy at times. The beef rib was tender and moist. Sometimes it can be a challenge to get a beef rib right but these guys nailed it. Absolutely NO sauce was needed for anything!!! The cherry on top was the staff. Everyone was very nice and seemed determined to make sure everyone was taken care of! Best BBQ in the RGV!!
