This is my go-to for healthcare CPR/FirstAid certification. Deanna is super helpful and awesome. She responds quickly to emails and is flexible in her class times and days. I've taken two classes with Staying Alive and I'm always excited about attending her class. As for the class itself, it isn't a boring class where you sit and watch videos for hours. We share our personal experiences as well as Deanna. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and very open for discussion. I feel well educated with all the materials that are provided. A few weeks ago I attended CPR training by Deanna Young. She did a fantastic job with 25+ boy scouts and a few parents and troop leaders. Deanna kept us engaged while teaching us valuable life lessons so that we could be certified in CPR. You can imagine some of the questions some of the boys had and she kept us focused on what was important while considering different real life scenarios we may be faced with if we ever have to give someone CPR. I have a troop of Girl Scouts and they have been desperately wanting to get their babysitting certification. We were so lucky to have found Staying Alive, LLC. Deanna was prompt and professional. She took proper precautions. She engaged with the girls through lively discussion and great demonstrations. They participated in safe hands-on activities. We could not be happier. Love Staying Alive and Deanna Young. Was able to take on line classes due to the pandemic and meet up for the skills training and testing. Deanna was my instructor for a blended First Aid/ CPR/ AED course. You complete an portion of the class online, then there is an in person skills test. My daughter took the CPR/ Babysitting class. She was nervous as many kids are want to be when they don't know many people. Deanna taught me exactly what to do if my Husky was in a medical emergency. So glad I now have confidence that no matter what happens I know what to do.
