I stayed at this hotel for a few nights. The check in desk was friendly and helpful . I encountered a problem checking in with my party when we were told the room we reserved wasn't available . The front desk swiftly updated the accomadation . The good-I arrived before check in. The hotel will let you store your bags there. That was nice, because I could go out sight seeing and pick up my bags when I returned. A hot breakfast is included each day. It had things like a waffle maker, oatmeal station, eggs, fresh fruit, OJ/milk, meats, biscuits .And a 24 hour coffee/ station is available. There's a gym. Free onsite parking It's located in a nice quiet area. The ok- I'd only been in the room a few minutes when maintenance came by . The room was missing a few things like a phone, one of the chairs was unclean.I also spied gum under a window seal . Maintenance came and fixed the issues and left saying let them know about anything else. Oh no-Had to clean the wall by my bed.I needed new sheets and blankets and hotel staff brought them to my room. I was on a lower floor next to the courtyard. At one point . Ants were on the couch and side table. I didn't alert maintenance to this . read more

Right off VA 28 and US 50. If you approach from 28 watch the left turn or you'll miss the turn onto Centerview Drive. Spacious and clean suite for the night before the big Lego show in Chantilly, VA for my son and I. Nice little kitchen with eating area, living area with couch, and large bedroom with bath. Comfortable bed, cool AC and friendly staff. Parking spaces are tight and AC is a little noisy. No problems. read more

I came to this hotel for an event and I honestly thought everything here was very good. The room was clean and spacious, customer service was great, and got all the accommodations I could ask for. It's very close to many restaurants and shopping centers, and has lots of parking space. I'd come back if I visit Virginia again. read more

Picked this hotel based on a lot of the great feedback I saw here and elsewhere. Fortunately this place did not disappoint on any level aside from a few little things. The Pros - 2BR is generously spacious and definitely excellent for family outings - Kitchenette was just right in terms of size and utility - 3 TVs in 3 rooms was convenient and nice - Beds were very comfortable - Climate control was fine, tho a little wonky (either too warm or cold at times) - Excellent breakfast every morning with 3 different fresh/hot items each day along with toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt etc - Very friendly staff - Generally speaking this place is quite clean. I thought the rooms were most definitely clean versus some other places I stayed - Plenty of (free) parking The Mehs - Shower was a little unreliable. Evenings the water was always hot/warm, but oddly in the mornings even very early on (like 6am) the hot water quickly got cold for me each day All in this was the best hotel stay I've had during the pandemic era. It was cleaner than other hotels, had actual decent food (not packaged crap) and was just generally very homey and spacious. Definitely worth a stay, though keep in mind this location is a little bit of a drive from DC if that's where you're interested in going. If you're more focused on NOVA this place is good. read more

I've always been a fan of Staybridge Suites. I've been to quite a few of them around the US . They're all very similar but they all have their little idiosyncrasies. Service at front desk was wonderful. They were always friendly and polite. This location is missing a pool, but their laundry room, business room, and gym is much bigger than other Staybridges. Their breakfast / dinner buffet is more organized, but there are less offerings. I'm deducting just a little bit because our room was missing a chair. Also for some reason, if housekeeping knocks on the door and you're in the room, they'll run away. It's located near the Dulles Airport and about 35 minutes from DC. Overall, not too bad. 4 stars. read more

Very reasonable and very accommodating for pets. Like many places can use an upgrade but it is in a good location.

I read many great reviews about this hotel and I decided to make a reservation. From the beginning, I knew something is not right. Hotel front door has a sign that Mask is required to enter the hotel and IHG's own website also states below. "Face coverings: US hotels In accordance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mask guidance released on July 27, 2021, in areas of substantial or high COVID-19 transmission, guests are encouraged to wear face coverings in all indoor areas, regardless of vaccination status." Maybe both the sign and IHG's website are outdated. Only one front desk staff wears mask and no other staff inside of the hotel wear mask at all. That is not the reason why I gave one start rating. I am a long time IHG member and this is one of the rare hotels I do not want to come back due to unfriendly staff. One of the hotel staff was rude and ignored my questions (then walked away). Room cleaning service seemed like modified (dropping off new towels and cleaning garbage bin but doesn't make bed anymore) which was okay by me. This hotel is located in a very good area where local stores and shops are walkable distance. It is located nearby the intersection of HWY 28 and 50. My room was clean and fitness center seemed like well maintained. Here are some tips: - Kitchen does not have many pots and pans (if you expect that) - Hotel is clean and maintenance staff are very friendly - Plenty of parking spaces to entrance doors - Fitness center has good equipment - Breakfast is below average but changing menu daily (free of charge) - Suite does not have a dining table (at least where I stayed) - Hotel lobby restrooms (both women and men) are very clean - Front desk service was below average read more

Well my stay here is almost up and I decided to review them as I've really enjoyed my stay here. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and typically go with Airbnbs as I like certain conveniences that you don't get at most hotels. I've been been to extended stay hotels and Staybridge blows them away. The staff is very friendly and responsive to any issues or concerns. All the staff has been stand outs, especially everyone working the front desk. I have to highlight 2 staff members in particular but please do not think I don't appreciate everyone from the house keepers on up. Ruben, one of the drivers for the shuttle and Amy,. I have interacted with Ruben almost every day I've been here and he is amazing. Amy I've seen only like twice but each time she was a team player. I think someone said shes a Manager or GM but she was driving a shuttle one day and replacing water jug in the gym another day. At previous longer term stay hotels when I've had a problem managers always delegate a problem like that. Checking in was easy and a breeze. I was not paying for my stay but still had to put down a credit card in case of incidentals. I was given my choice of floors I'd like to stay on and so I chose 4th floor. I appreciate being placed away from the elevator. The room was nice and I think that's important highlight. I'm not comparing this to the top tier hotels that try to lavish you with extras, I'm comparing it to others in it's range. The bed was comfortable and the room didn't smell like smoke as some hotels can. The rooms come with a dishwasher, full size fridge and a microwave. I had classmates staying at a different hotel around the corner and apparently they had mini fridges and no dishwasher. After I purchased groceries I noticed the fridge was not getting "that" cold. I let the front desk know the next morning and the fridge was replaced. read more

So it looked good from the pictures and sounded good from reviews but horrible management. The walls are paper thin. The staff does yard work very early in the morning in trucks with generators- like waking people up at 4:00am! read more

Stayed here for a business trip and enjoyed my time there very much! Staff were kind and attentive. The gym was clean and the TOGO breakfast was top notch. Great walking path around the hotel, and comfy king bed with kitchenette. Would highly recommend to anyone, and would do a return stay in a heartbeat! read more

Could be a decent place. But every time I've stayed here the staff is lacking. And management is not accountable nor apologizes for their unprofessional behavior and poor work ethic. read more

Great hotel to stay at. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed is one of the best hotel beds I've slept in. The hotel staff is efficient and courteous. I only rated as a 4 because the hotel is a bit behind the times in that they do not have digital check-in or digital room keys. And the tv in the room was a bit small. But I was still able to hook up a streaming device without problems. read more

We are leaving today and we really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for 3 weeks for my husband's job and we didn't have any major complaints about our room. The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, hospitable, and always had a solution. The only 2 downsides we had was the smell of our fridge. The freezer had a stench that made me want to gag. Although our bed was made everyday, the sheets were never replaced. Even when there was an apparent stain on the comforter from us eating. Besides that, it was awesome. Dinner was provided Monday-Wednesday and breakfast was served every morning. The breakfast was my favorite part. They have these cheese danishes that are just like Starbucks. There's a lot of great restaurants, shopping centers, and activities around the hotel which was a big plus. I definitely recommend this hotel. read more

Some of the staff are very warm and welcoming yet management is very poor. Treatment from management as an employee is terrible and the pay is not worth the treatment. read more

This is by far my favorite place to crash. Uber-clean, smoking floor doesn't stink (I have no idea how they do it), sooooo comfortable, and the staff ROCKS!!!!! No, really. You do not have to ask for an upgrade. They will give you an upgrade on their own if they can. And you won't even realize you got upgraded until you open the door - so they really do it just because they rock. :) Social mixers, free meals, really nice pond with a fountain, full kitchen and a full-size fridge, FAST wifi with no glitches, and a great channel line-up. Airport shuttle. Sometimes the planes fly kinda low and kinda close, but during the daytime (it's actually fun to watch). I've slept like a baby every night I stayed there, so I'm assuming it doesn't happen at night. Central air. I just left this morning and already want to go back. read more

The staff is friendly, when you can find them, I had to leave the keys on the counter when I left at 5:30 Am... no one was around, whistled, walked around, yelled.. nada. It was "ok" during the week, I might have given it 3 1/2 stars until the weekend... then the kids, the families, yuck. People getting out of the car from their "road trip" or whatever with 50 suitcases for a couple of nights away from home... always funny, I have a carry-on for 7 days. The laundry room was nice, I like to recycle the laundry once to cut down on the bags, and laundry was clean. Room - while clean, it could have been better. The thermostat was less than helpful being on the top floor, it was always hot in there, I think the locals on the east coast need the heat when it's 65 out or whatever. I had to leave a window open. The dishwasher, while really nice to have in a hotel room, was such a cheapie and so freaking loud... like jet engine loud.. it was next to useless. I flipped it on finally as I was leaving to wash the dishes I dirtied. I realize I'm picky and I'll spend a grand on a quiet dishwasher from the house, but this thing was absurd. I'd estimate around 85 decibels... louder than the TV on max, by a long-shot. Decor - nice in the lobby, but the rooms need help. Everything screams "cheap"... brown carpet, brown desk, brown comforter, brown sofa, brown furniture, brown drapes. I'd recommend some color... or at least something other than baby-poop brown on everything. If you are reasonably in a hurry, the breakfast isn't really helpful, they have 1 waffle maker and a non-functional toaster, so you can either basically have some fruit and coffee, or get in line behind "mommy" making 7 waffles in a row at 2.5 minutes each. At first I thought, wow, she's finally done after watching her make 3 in a row - then she grabs 4 more cups of waffle mix, so I thought, screw it, left the stuff there and went to IHOP... note to staff... if you have free breakfast for 30 or 40 people showing up, a single $100 waffle iron really doesn't cut it, consider "investing" in some infrastructure. I had a nice time at the same brand in San Antonio, but couldn't shake the depressing feeling in this one. Cleanliness... eh... It was ok, until I came back to the room on the second day, found the toilet lid up, obviously urine in there and the tell-tale sign of a female with a single tissue or two in there floating (that definitely wasn't me). Ok, I get it, the cleaning staff has to use the bathroom, but come on.. flush the toilet so the guest doesn't come back to pee-pee smell in the room. The bed was hard & the pillows sucked... it was your basic Costco $300 mattress, not what you would expect in a $200 hotel, and the pillows were just cheap, Walmart stuff or something. I had 4 of them, none of them were comfortable. Was it bed-bugs & cockroaches? No. It was however, just very below-average, especially for the price. For $20 or so more, I recommend the Westin in Herndon. Bathroom... ok, just cheap injected-molded plastic shower surround... I usually stay at Starwood hotels (Sheraton, Westin, Aloft, etc.) ... Haven't seen a plastic shower in like, 20 years in a hotel. They did a horrible job of the caulking at the top of it too, looked like someone used a crayon to do it (I remodeled my house to the studs myself, I notice things like caulking & crown molding). It's not really a Suite... more of a largish room. The Hilton suites I use in Vegas are $90 / night and 840 square feet, with dining, living room, etc.. (Different market, but that is kind of what I think of as a "suite". This is really just a little extra room at the foot of the bed. After 7 nights... I'm looking forward to my own bed tonight.. and a dishwasher that isn't louder than the jets flying overhead from Dulles with the windows open... read more

If you haven't been to this Stay Bridge Suites you are missing out on A great stay with a fantastic and energetic staff. My family stayed there when they came into town for a visit. They had such a great time that they are planning on returning there the next time they are in town. This particular hotel is also very active in giving back. They have monthly Bingo night and I have attended 3 of them. It was a great time and we had dinner there too! There is comfortable seating, drop down screen, WiFi, and hook ups for a lap top. It is really a great place and it is convenient because it just off of 28! read more

We stayed here for quite a while because of a move to a new home. It was clean and quiet. The room was well appointed with a separate living and sleeping area. The breakfasts and the evening social hours were great. All of the front desk people were very accommodating to our need to change our check-out dates several times. A special shout-out to Jessica A. who helped us so many times in changing our check-in dates because of our house buyers' ever changing time frames. She even contacted other hotels for us when there were no accommodations at this location. Super friendly staff! read more

Stayed for 3 weeks for work. The staff is wonderful! all the desk people are super nice, helpful, and accommodating. They compared rental cars for me since I am under 25 and was trying to find the cheapest fee. They helped me bring all my luggage in since I had quite a bit since I was staying for 3 weeks. Room is super clean! the bed is pretty comfortable not too hard or too soft. the pillows are feather pillows you sink your head into. The room I stayed in had a small kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave, two stove tops and a full dish washer. The bathroom is clean and sanitary. Large stand up shower with full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Full size closet with a safe inside as well as a dresser in the room. A sofa that turns into a pull out bed if needed, a desk to do business work on. a good size flat screen tv. The WIFI isn't the best but still works but would suggest using a hotspot if you have one. Complimentary breakfast everyday with a large selection of options. coffee and tea provided in the lobby every day all day. Delete repeated word dinners provided Monday-Wednesday great way to save money while traveling some meals are better than others but hey its free. Laundry room and a small gym provided. two grills and outdoor tables available. There is a pantry where you can buy frozen goods, drinks, snacks, medicine, toiletries, and laundry detergent/dryer sheets. The pantry is pretty expensive.. ben and jerry's is $6. box with 2 dryer sheets is $2, sharable twix $5, and individual tide pods are $1 a piece... Good thing though is they provide a shuttle to Walmart/target Monday and Friday nights so go buy your stuff there! They provided a room service delivery from an outside catering family however there is a $15 min and a delivery fee. Over all this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Great for business travel, Super close to the airport! read more

Spire ihg member. Super noisy heater here, great room if you don't need heat or don't need to sleep. I turned off my heater (whose maintenance door is in the bedroom) as it's insanely noisy. Unfortunately the heater is so loud I can hear it in other guests rooms through the walls. I have stayed in multiple ihg hotels designed like this, it makes me question their competence, why put the heat or ac inside the bedroom? It's like sleeping in a utility room read more

I love this hotel so much! I've stayed here twice - both were for extended days of 2 or more weeks. It's mainly used for government workers who are here for longer periods of time so they make the rooms really cozy and comfortable with a kitchen and separate room for beds so it really feels like an apartment! There's breakfast included which is pretty awesome compared to other places - all the hot foods like eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, cereal, yogurt, juices, baked goods and even a waffle making station! Three times a week they also provide dinner whose menu is posted in your room. The staff is really nice and attentive. Cleaning happens upon request or once a week if you're there for more than 7 days which is actually worked better for me. Location is ideal as it's minutes from Dulles airport and not too far from dc. Only gripe is I wish they had a better gym that wasn't so exposed to the hallway as well as more water fountains. WiFi can be a little slow. Overall though great option for dc/va area! read more

The staff were very friendly and I appreciate all the courtesy they provided us. However, this is the only hotel that I have stayed where toothbrush and toothpaste is not complimentary but have to be purchased. I have not had that experience in over 5 years so that was a bit disappointment. I would like to give a shout out to David for all his help and assistance though, you're a great person and made our stay a lot more enjoyable. read more

First Staybridge experience was a good one. I stayed for 2 weeks and was impressed. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Amenities include a gym, free laundry, free daily breakfast and free dinner/happy hour Monday-Wednesday. I wouldn't say the food was fantastic but nice space/opportunity to meet people and relax or just catch the news on a huge screen tv. There is a Bob Evans, a deli and a steakhouse within walking distance weather permitting. IMO too far away if cold or raining. If you have a car or rental, there are many places within a couple blocks to eat and a couple of gas stations nearby too. Plenty of parking at the hotel too. No complaints at all about housekeeping. They came when I needed them and stayed away when I needed my privacy. I would stay here again no hesitation. read more

Stayed here for 4 nights while in the DC area. Very close to Dulles Airport and major roads so it was convenient. Check in was fast and easy, the lobby is large and well appointed with movies to borrow and computers/printer for you to use. Breakfast was free and good, lots of good options and very filling. Dinner included free beers and was pretty decent. There's some restaurants located just a short walk from the hotel. Is it possible that a hotel could have room doors that don't bang when closed? The noise of doors slamming started early and lasted all morning, god forbid you'd want to sleep past 5 AM. read more

I can't say enough about this hotel! The minute I walked In the positive energy and feeling of home away from home hit me. The room was prefect, breakfast and dinner (free) were awesome. Service great, everybody was very friendly, and they definitely did all they could to accomodate us. I've definitely stayed at hotels where customer service was lacking, but this was not one of those experiences. I was more than satisfied. It is located in a good area, with restaurants and shops conveniently nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchenette (complimentary popcorn was a cute touch). I was not impressed with the hotel. The staff was great, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. This was a work trip, and I was not able to choose the hotel chain I wanted to stay at. My colleague was given a "smoking" room (I didn't know those still existed) and was told it would not smell at all. WRONG. And when they gave him a new room, someone was in it! First, windows in the suite had only transparent (sheer) curtains and the non-transparent (opaque) ones were fake ones (just hanging on the sides of the window, but would not cover the window). It was the ground floor and there was a street light that FLOODED the room with intense light: it was so bright that I could easily read a book in the middle of the night and had trouble falling asleep. Also, it was the east side of the building, so when the sun came at 6:50 AM it flooded the room with sunlight. This is not a cheap hotel, this is supposedly a respectable medium-high priced hotel chain, charging $170/night and they couldn't put real curtains in every room? Second, the heating/cooling unit (there is one per room) is hidden in a wooden closet behind a flimsy door in ... the bedroom (???!!!) and it makes such a loud noise, as if it's a tractor or a delivery truck: I could not fall asleep because of the noise it was generating. Overall, the room looked cheap for the market segment they position themselves (and charge) for. The kitchen area was way too small and dark. The kitchen was not well equipped: there was no electric kettle (to be able to quickly boil water for tea or coffee), instead they had this ubiquitous cheap coffee machine in the "Motel 6" vein. read more
