Sounds like this place will be closing its doors for good. I've enjoyed an Indian festival and a couple coffee festivals in this venue over the years. It's always been easy to park free with simple access and plenty of space inside - all factors that are more rare than they should be these days. read more

My advice is to be very selective as to which type of expose you attend at this venue. The inside space is on the small side and parking is limited. read more

A good space. Visited for the RV show and there was plenty of room for all the RVs, walking space and general merch stands. Plenty of good sized bathrooms which is always a plus! read more

We came to the venue for the capital remodel and garden show. The show wasn't really what we expected but the venue was really nice. I see that they do a lot of different events so definitely Hoping to go back for a different event. They had ample amount of parking and was easy to get to. Lots of stuff in the area too for when you finish hanging there for an event. I also like you can buy your tickets ahead of time and show on your phone read more

I've been here a few times, and it's extremely ICEY in there. It's like they went out and RECRUITED all the cold and brought it into the venue. It's ridiculous! I think people should be warned of how ICEY it is before going. read more

Attended the DMV Chocolate and Coffee at Chantilly Expo Center with my husband, definitely not disappointed. Didn't buy tickets online for 12.50 but brought canned goods for $1 off admission. WDST provided free stickers, pens, and plastic grocery bags-a place to put everything we bought. We had to stop in at the concession stand for hotdogs n water, change from chocolate, pastry n coffee samples. Vendors that had samples, business cards or QR codes had a better chance of selling products. Had a great 3 hours out, next event 200+ vendors October 7th. Not sure we'll attend, 4 aisles of vendors was enough for me. Spent cash n card about $100. Check out vendors by cards, you won't be disappointed. read more

Would you look at that!! All the fountains work well now! With the exception of 2020 and 2021, Super Smash Con is still my early August ritual that I doubt I'll ever get tired of. I think the sound systems have gotten some upgrades and the center stage setup is as sleek looking as ever, having a screen on 4 sides of a hanging centerpiece to really engage the crowd. Otherwise, not too much as changed... and I have yet to see any other events going on at the Expo Center -- then again, I don't live close enough where I would get regular updates. But it continues to be a great venue. read more

Here for the first time for the Indian Heritage Festival. So many varied vendors and possibilities for beautiful Indian fabrics, clothing, shoes, art and lots of food options. I had just eaten so I didn't try the food and that area was crowded! I "short circuited" and had sensory overload shortly after going up and down some of the many aisles and didn't stay long. My friend who is a diehard shopper stayed. I bet she found some wonderful things! read more

Stopped here for a convention while in the area - Super Smash Con. I will say that the in and out festivities and setup were pretty seamless and there is plenty of parking here. The cafe concession stands have pretty fair pricing - and if not there are several food options nearby within walking distance with Hooters, Arbys, etc. If it is a large convention, bathroom stalls may come with a long wait - but overall had a good experience here. read more

Went here for Chinese new year, place was dirty. On the inside it was massive, but you know what else is massive? THAT LOW TAPER FADE. Food was not that bussin, songs were legit banging. Boba tea was alright. Too much people, they fanum taxed all the seats. I was honestly surprised to see a lot of white people. Peace out big backs read more

We were here for Jurassic Quest and it's a fine facility. Spacious, appropriate bathrooms, concessions. The parking lot is large. Being it's a warehouse atmosphere, plan to dress in layers. The expo center also hosts, from looking at their calendar, antiques, gems, and guns shows too. read more

This Expo Center has a great location and good parking spaces. We went recently to the Lego Expo, but over the years we have visited many craft shows, and other events. We can rely on in being clean and well run. I bonus for us is that on the end of the strip the center is on, they also have a really yummy casual barbecue place called Willard's. We always visit there for lunch or dinner, and that is like icing on the cake! Looking forward to going to many more events! You have been a very positive business in this area for years. Thank you! read more

This is a major exhibition hall. Actually make that two of them! Most often I go for the Nations Gun Show and the Model Train event. It can be madness personified here, as parking is not enough in my opinion. I wish they had more spaces, because while they maybe never anticipated the size of these crowds, it's a challenge to find a spot. As it stands I'm grateful these facilities were built. They are huge, although they do look like they need some renovations. It's showing its age in places. Once in I've loved these events. They are a lot of fun, and occasionally you can get a good bargain. The Pet Expo is also a wonderful event. Most are $10 or under to get into, and that's quite a reasonable cost. There are a lot of hobbies and passions here, and most people will find their shows family friendly. If you're a local you've probably been here. read more

Huge space! They have different events every weekend. Some examples are the fun show, exxotica, art and craft show, national gem show, etc.

I went to the craft show that was held here we went to a show here a few years ago and 90% of the stuff was from China. So we thought we would give it another shot and we were surprised not much was from China this time maybe 20% I enjoyed the maple syrup vendors bringing there styles of syrup. Lots of handmade furniture dining, kitchen tables and chairs. Handmade silk ties and scarfs. Lots of chocolate and jewelry vendors, there were a few jewelry people that said they made there stuff but didn't have nothing to show they actually made it. If they had a video or photos showing them making something I believe it would be more believable it was handmade. read more

I've been to several shows here. It's in a strip mall type of setting. One positive is it has free parking and plenty of parking, though it definitely gets quite filled up! There's nothing fancy about it. It's quite functional only. They tend to get smaller shows. For instance, I just attended a franchise show. They probably had no more than 20 vendors there. They have two buildings and have different shows in each of the buildings at the same time. It's located off a congested area, so you definitely want to give yourself plenty of time to get here. There are countless food establishments in the area, so you can definitely find something to eat before or afterwards if you are attending a show here. A nice location to go to attend different special shows, which can be really fun! Also, if you go on their website, you can place yourself on their email list, so you can always be informed of what's going on here. I do like that because some special event venues don't have that. read more

On 09/23/23, the DC Big Flea, the biggest flea market on the east coast was hosted yet again! I've gone for years and it never disappoints. Got free tickets to the Craftsmen's Spring Classic Art & Craft Festival. Plenty of free parking. The Dulles Expo is convenient for me, since it's close to home. We found some cool stuff. I've been to the Dulles Expo Center many times over the years for a number of different events - most notably the re-occurring Sugar Loaf Crafts Festival. The restrooms are also in need of major retrofit and renovation. read more

4/7/19 The Dulles Expo Wedding Extravaganza is in full swing. The sounds of banshees wailing can be heard throughout the arena. I have not come across the banshees yet, but I am sure they will find me. All I have to do is walk around and I will find something. The first joyful thing I found were wedding photos a young lady had taken. I will be she to grab her business card. I did not expect to see Simi-nude photos for a wedding photos, but photographer's take pictures of many things. Nude are nothing when taken with good taste. Then they become works of art. The next big thing I saw was Reston Limousine's three vicheles. Two of the three buses looked like one's I have been in. The third one was some new indeed. What kind of kinky stuff goes on in these vicheles I wonder? As Willie Scott sang in Indiana Jone and The Temple of Doom, "Anything Goes." After two trips to the bathroom, the wedding photos from Love& Adventure Photography, Reston Limousine, Famous Dave's, Celebrate Your Sexy and Poosh Boudoir were the most interesting experience I had this time at the Dulles Expo Center. Watching people walk down the aisle wearing David's Bridal clothes was nice, but nothing to write home about. I did like the wedding dresses that did not look like wedding dresses. Oh, the Tiny Chapel was the greatest experience I had. I met pastor Todd was very down to earth. The best thing about Tiny Chapel is the cost. I've attended several types of shows at the Dulles Expo Center: Gem, Christmas, and Greenberg Train Show. The Expo Center now operates out of only one exhibit pavilion rather than the former two. All of the shows have been well organized and the large pavilion provides sufficient floor space for the vendors. Try going to a show that interests you. It is a main exposition center for the greater Washington, DC, region. It is often easier to deal in cash at these shows, so bring cash with you. (There is an ATM on the premises). The shows are popular and parking is always at a premium. I recommend arriving early in the day. A snack bar is provided in the hall, but there are many restaurant choices in the immediate vicinity. read more

This is a fine expo center. There was nothing about it that stood out as extraordinary, and it is a bit on the small side. The concessions were as forgettable as I had anticipated. Forlorn hot dogs, crap fountain drinks and popcorn were what I had been told were on offer, and DEC certainly had plenty of it. We came for the Brickfair and were not disappointed. The Expo is really easy to get to, but because it relies so heavily on Rt. 66 and Rt. 28, you're at the mercy of traffic on how long it takes to get there. It's also odd that it's in a shopping center. Odd, but convenient at least for attendees to have different food options nearby. Parking is plentiful, unlike other Convention Centers and Conference Centers in the area (*cough* Baltimore Convention Center and Gaylord Hotel and Conference*cough*) I go here twice a year for the Super Pet Expo and the National Capital Cat Show. I'm usually a vendor for at least one of them. It sort stinks that as a vendor, I have to park in a gravel parking lot. I completely understand leaving the prime parking locations to the attendees, but gravel? You can't give me a paved lot? read more

Good venue for lots of trade shows. I've been to the RV Shows, Flea Markets, and Gun Shows. I attend several different events throughout the year here. It's a fine expo center for events with tons of parking and bathrooms. They've been upgrading areas over the last few years, but they're severely lacking in the family friendly bathrooms. In the renovated bathrooms there isn't one changing table! How does that make any sense? They have 1 family bathroom in the back with a changing table, but the door doesn't lock, it's old, and both the bathroom and the table are filthy. Plus no door hook for a bag or purse. (I seriously considered going out to the parking lot to change the diaper because it was so gross (thank god for my portable changing pad and Clorox wipes!) It's a shame the center isn't making it easy for parents considering how many families visit the facility for different events. read more

The Dulles Expo & Conference Center is in close proximity to the Dulles Technology Corridor, or "Netplex", as dubbed by Fortune Magazine. Northern Virginia is internationally recognized for it's achievements in the tech industry and making the world a more modern place. So why is the Dulles Expo & Conference Center the antithesis of all these things? In short, it's an antiquated mess. Northern Virginia is one of the most affluent areas of the county and this is the best we can come up with? The parking is a mess after 11 a.m. on event days, the bathrooms weren't designed to meet the demand and the shopping center wasn't designed to accommodate the volume of people that come through. I remember when Virginia was still considered the county- we paved over it and we've all moved on. So Dulles Expo, stop playing with your sheep and get to work. We expect more from you... read more

Participated in a conference held here one rainy week of April. The Expo Center is fairly easy to get to from 50. The venue was set up rather nicely. Plenty of free parking, so that was a special perk. I commuted up from the DC area where free parking is almost nonexistent. There was a coffee vendor set up inside - this really hit the spot after coming in from the rain. The only downfall is that the room set up for the keynote speakers and town hall meetings was extremely small for a conference of this magnitude. Many people were left standing. This may not have been much of an issue if the projectors showed the speakers, rather than just the title of the conference. Overall, I would recommend the Dulles Expo for conferences, exhibits and other like venues. read more
