I've brought it up and they said to use the more expensive option. (The cheaper option still shouldn't be ruining shirts?...) Even when paying for the more expensive option, the issue persists. It's a bummer because they are close and I like them, but they're ruining my shirts. In my whole life I have never had this issue with a dry cleaner. It's weird. A functioning press that doesn't leave deep, structural creases in dress shirts should be table stakes for a dry cleaner.

I got the dress a week and a half later and it fit perfectly. It was about $50 which I thought was reasonable. Please note the tailor is only available in the mornings, before 1pm I believe. She still did not acknowledge me after about a minute and a half she got up and asked me what did I want. I said I needed alterations and she immediately said no without even looking at the item. I dropped off 6 items for dry cleaning and 1 item to repair a rip along a seam; a total of 7 articles. On her ticket, she wrote that I dropped off 6 items for dry cleaning and she said she would charge me for the repair after. When I picked up the clothes, I received a bundle of items on hangers with a number 6 on the outside; indicating 6 items. One of these items was the repaired shirt but I didn't realize that until I got home. I went in with the original receipt and explained to her that I only received 6/7 of my items and she was very confused. I pointed out that the item I was missing was the pants with the oil stain so I was positive it was missing. She said she would call me after she looked into it. She never called so I called and she said she didn't know where they were. Sucks to have an establishment lose your property and not rectify it but I digress.

In restaurants, you have a delicious and memorable meal, so you want to post something nice to capture the moment and share the joy. With dry cleaners, you expect that your clothes will come out nice and clean. If that happens - voila - you're done. You're content. They have now lied to me twice about when something would be available for pickup: once giving me the wrong time, and then apparently forgetting the item completely in their warehouse.
