A great store for enthusiasts. They had a good selection of scotch, bourbon and other whisky. Both local and international. The staff is friendly and eager to help. They had some special options available in closed cases like the Barrel craft bourbon. The interior is a bit dark. Serendipitously while I was in the store, there was a whisky sample station where I got to learn about this lovely local single malt whisky maker - Westward. Their original was smooth, powerful yet flavorful. You can definitely taste the aging that went into it and they distill their whisky without hops. Barley grain. Madeline was at the counter and she did a great job explaining the whisky and their aging process. I recommend it! read more

Friendly service, ample parking, and a nice selection of all the different spirits. Stateline is definitely my go to place when we are needing to restock the liquor cabinet! And being in Oregon means no sales tax which is really nice! They have good hours, open daily, and it's easy to find once you know where it is. I come in here once or twice a month and reload my supplies :D the staff here is always friendly and always ask me if I need help finding anything. They have earned and kept my business for years. One fella even gave me a drink recipe the name of may be too much for yelp, it consists of, tequila, hot sauce, and the juice from a can of tuna. I still haven't tried it yet but one day I will. So some yahoo decided to disparage my review by saying I should go back to California, referring to it as "north Mexico". Hmmmm. They decided to mansplain that I shouldn't use yelp for anything other than rating a business. Okay, I really enjoy reading reviews that have a bit of personality, or are quirky or even ranty, as long as they aren't overly mean spirited. And let's face it - if you travel around the US, one of the weirdest things is how much each state has its own peculiar laws and rules. I certainly don't think I was being particularly ugly about this business, but you making a comment on prices could be of interest to someone else, too. So for Mr. local yokel, let me be clear. I like Oregon just fine. I like Bend and Portland and there us much to recommend it. But besides no sales tax, it does take a bit of getting used to having someone pump your gas. For one thing, it means you're at the gas station a whole lot longer! Still, I look forward to going back there. That is, if my Visa is accepted. Us northern Mexicans at least can be assured that Portland is a sanctuary city. read more

This is a great little liquor store that is located very close to the Oregon/Washington state-line. This place can get pretty busy with many folks from Vancouver looking to make their purchases sans sales tax. Even though there are times when this place is packed, they always have ample parking and many people working the registers to ensure smooth sailing. One thing I do really like about this liquor store is that the products are all out on the shelves and it is easy to walk around a browse products at your leisure. There is also a Safeway located across the street if you need any mixers or snacks to accompany your boozy purchases. read more

This liquor store moved a couple of years ago from a really small and crowded location with a really terrible parking lot, to where it is now. Double the size, easily. The interior is very nice, they have taken great pride in their move to this location, and it shows. Clean, well organized, and always a friendly staff. They have a ton of alcohol here...obviously! The people who work here are really nice. There was a lady at the front doing some tastings of the new Bacardi. She was really helpful with folks like us who aren't from Oregon. We were browsing around and one of the workers asked us if we needed help. We asked him for some of his favorite alcohol that doesn't give any hangovers. And he was super helpful and informational! I'd have to say I really liked this liquor store. However, this old lady at the register was very suspicious I was underage (I don't mind looking under my age) but she was being a little rude about it. read more

My friend and I have inquired about purchasing some higher end whiskey in the past from this store and were told when their shipments usually arrive, so we visited early hoping to check if any inventory had showed up. None had arrived, which is totally understandable, but we were told explicitly by the staff, Paul, "even if I get any in I'm not selling to you." There were plenty of better ways to have a conversation with us and I've never received similar treatment at another store, liquor or otherwise. I can't even imagine what someone has to be thinking to treat a customer who has come out of their way to spend money at your establishment that way. read more

Where Vancouver goes to buy its liquor. This store conveniently located near the OR/WA border carries a damn decent selection of booze at much-cheaper-than-Washington prices. Sure it's an OLCC outpost but you can tell from the crowds here and out-of-state-license plates that plenty of Washingtonians prefer to drive out of their way and plan ahead to pay 21% less for their booze. Friendly staff, proper selection (but not nearly as extensive as Rose City, Hollywood or Pearl Specialty) and convenient to the freeway. That'll do. read more

This was my first time to this liquor store and apparently this is a new location for the store. Where it used to be looked like a very tight and cramped location with limited parking. The new spot is a very spacious, clean and orderly space. The parking is ample, good thing too because this store stays very busy. I was doing a promotional job here. It went very well they had my station set up in a great spot...away from the door and cold air. The staff was very helpful and hard working. They really got things right here. I liked this store until yesterday. I bought a bottle of rum and went out to my car. It had been opened in the store and not re-closed and it spilled all over the car so now my car smells like a pirate ship. Very frustrated. I guess next time I will assume the worst and check to make sure bottle hasn't been tampered with. read more

What a life saver for those of us in Vancouver! Just a short jaunt away on the other side of the 5 freeway a solid selection of different liquor including some items that could set you back over $3500 for some Louis XIII. Now if you're like me and going for the less extravagant, they have you covered there as well. Prices are very fair, and definitely worth the savings of 20% tax in WA! I will return when supplies run low again for sure. Additionally, staff were friendly and helpful, it's always good to get a solid opinion when opining over such a large liquor selection! read more

From the time I called in my order from the parking lot to the time I drove away took maybe seven minutes. Best liquor store in Oregon...and I've been to many. Moved to Camas from Portland a few months ago, still travel across the river for my bottles. Extremely knowledgeable and honest staff. Every time I go in it's a ritual...I'll ask if they received any of my favorite bourbon (which never hits the shelf) and if the answer is "no" (more often than not, because Oregon gets limited supply) someone will always offer something else that's not on the shelf. 9 times out of 10 I take it because they know my likes. The Owner is absolutely a great guy, and very honest and straightforward. Yesterday I waited outside for the chance to get Pappy and BTAC. The owner arrived at 0730 and told me if they came in that they would not go out today. I thank him for his honesty and called back later during the day and he told me they would be going out first come first serve when the doors opened at 0930. Once again very honest and truthful 100%. It's easy, fairly convenient, open sundays and after 7pm, ample parking, they have lots of cool stuff, free booze tastings, that crappy stuff you can buy to make long island ice teas without buying 12 liquors, staff if friendly and professional, cigarettes are cheap, and Micheal's is a stone's throw away.
