Stasis Massage focuses on bringing affordable in-office chair massage therapy to employees at companies and organizations throughout Chicagoland. We also work one-on-one with clients to provide massage therapy for relaxation or injury rehabilitation.
History
Established in 2012.
Stasis, or equilibrium, comes from the clinical term "homeostasis," which is an organism's ability to self-regulate and find balance. Every cell in our body is constantly striving to strike balance to harmonize our body. Too often, however, the stressors of life--traffic jams, public transportation, work deadlines, family events--throw our system out of whack.
Massage can help kick-start the body's calming mechanisms and bring equilibrium back to your life. I love being able to help others escape city life and focus only on themselves. My approach is much more clinical in nature and I'll work with you to identify why you have aches and muscle pains and develop a plan to target those muscles and modify some of your daily activities to alleviate that pain.
