I initially visited Stasio's when it opened and I liked it but I hadn't been back since then, so it didn't make a strong enough impression for me to want to come back. Recently, I heard people raving about the chicken Parmesan sub and I had been really craving one, so I decided to seek it out! There is some seating inside as well as outside. The retail space is fantastic and we ended up picking up some truffle pasta which we made at home, and it was fantastic. The service was fine, nothing to write home about, but once I got my sub I was disappointed because they cut the chicken into strips, which is a personal no-no for me. The overall taste was good, but not great.
Insanely delicious. I had the cutlet sandwich. Perfectly seasoned arugula and balsamic salad on top of a crispy set of chicken cutlets with fresh mozz. For dessert, a perfectly moist and soaked tiramisu. I had a mini cannoli and perfectly flaky lobster tail to take home and they hit the spot.
Stasio's in the Milk District is hands down one of the best sandwich spots in Orlando! The chicken cutlet, egg, and cheese with a meatball was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken cutlet was incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. I've tried chicken cutlet sandwiches all over Orlando, and this is easily the best. The fresh mozzarella is unbelievably fresh, and you can taste the quality in every bite. We also ordered a simple cheese sandwich for our baby, and even that was amazing. The bread was some of the best we've ever had fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Everything tasted homemade with high-quality ingredients, and it's easy to see why Stasio's has such a great reputation. If you're looking for authentic Italian sandwiches in Orlando, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!
The best authentic Italian spot in town! Walking inside of Stasio's brought me back to the small town outside of Philadelphia where I grew up. My Italian grandparents would take me to the market every weekend and we'd buy cannolis and deli meat and Italian cheeses to prep for different Italian dishes. My friend and I split the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. The sandwich was huge! It was definitely too much for just one of us so we decided to split it. It was served hot and had the perfect amount of sauce and eggplant and cheese. My friend told me that I had to try this pistachio cream cake and it was so flavorful and creamy and delicious! The next time I dine here, I would love to try one of their cold sandwiches! The service was very quick, and the staff was very kind and answered all of our questions!
Beautiful space as soon as you walk in - very limited seating inside at a counter with stools so have a backup place to take it to if you can't sit. I ordered the "D" sub without the long hots, plus a small tiramisu and mini cannoli. They have a huge selection of drinks in their two coolers so lots of options to pair with! Fantastic sandwich, decadent desserts, and super filling. The staff was happy to explain the desserts, and while we were checking out, two separate groups walked in saying "we're back!" because they'd just come in the past week and loved it that much.
Walking into the store you feel like you've found this niche vibrant slice of culture, where everyone treats you with kindness and is direct. I come here all the time and have tried nearly everything on the menu, and food quality is the most important thing to me. Stasio's has something for everybody, I come atleaat 4x a month if not more for that Lou's special. But anything you order is gonna be a hit.
This place has been on my radar since it is always raved about amongst friends. Finally was able to check it out recently. Love that we were greeted by someone right away asking if it was our first time and to give a mini tour/rundown of options. Coffee, pasta, To Go dishes and massive subs - what a dream. It's one of those spots where you know you'll need multiple visits just to try everything. For this visit, we kept it simple and went with the Italian sub (toasted) and the chicken cutlet sandwich. Both were incredible - generously loaded with meat and cheese, super fresh toppings, and great flavor all around. The portions are no joke either, so definitely come hungry or be ready for leftovers. Great first impression between the friendly service and the quality of the food. Already looking forward to our next visit.
You're immediately transported as soon as you walk in. With fresh ingredients like bread and cheeses, Stasio's is serving up delicious sandwiches that feel authentic to their roots. The steak sandwich is my favorite; it has the perfect amount of spice and zest. Bread holds up nicely without becoming soggy from the steak. Rotating soups, sandwiches, and deli items are also available. Associates kindly ask upon entering if it's your first time so they can give you the run-down. Parking can be a challenge at times, and the interior can feel tight and overwhelming if there's a crowd of guests waiting. Stasio's is a great addition to the city as we don't have too many bodega style delis around. I forgot I'm in Florida when I'm here.
Came here after numerous recommendations online saying it's one of the best pastramis in Orlando. I'm sad to say I'm disappointed. I ordered the pastrami on a hero and chicken parm--both as is/normal. The flavor profile of these two is just salt. The chicken in the chicken parm flaked off weirdly (sort of like fish) and texture was rubbery. The sauce on the parm was also pretty one dimensional. All you can taste in the pastrami was just the cheese/salt mostly. Idk if it's cause I'm spoiled from NYC pastrami but this wasn't for me. The staff is very nice though and walked us through how to order right when we arrived. There's also a lot of different Italian ingredients and desserts to buy. It's around $13-15 per sandwich so it didn't break the bank. Limited window seating, bar style with some parking in the back.
I cannot believe it took me so long to get here, but I FINALLY had a sub from Stasio's, and it did not disappoint! I had no idea they had so many fun Italian goods to shop for - I need to come back and buy some pastas and Olive oils. Definitely a great spot to pick up some gifts! Despite being pretty packed for lunch, we were served very quickly and our subs came out fast! I went for the classic Italian sub, and it was everything you want it to be - great amount of meat and cheeses, soft bread, great toppings. The value is great - I was able to save half for later. The store was busy, efficient, and felt like a true little Italian store ambiance from up north. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!
Stasio's is the closest thing to a true Italian deli that Central Florida will get. Stasio's Italian Deli & Market has been around since 2018. Located in the Milk District and widely popular amongst locals. It's located at 2320 E Robinson St, Orlando, FL 32803. Started by a family from Connecticut, they've been able to create a lively atmosphere and experience for anyone who comes. They started Stasio's in 2018. I decided to finally go during my lunch hour and was delighted. For one, it was super busy and had a bunch of really cool grocery items that I don't think I've seen before. They also had a dessert case and a deli case. They also had hot items to be ordered and their breakfast items are served all day. While there isn't any real seating and the parking lot is an absolute nightmare to traverse, it was absolutely worth it for an $8 breakfast sandwich. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on a sesame roll. It took a little bit for my order to come to me, although not long for what felt like 20-30 people inside of the building. I grabbed it, paid for it, and ate it elsewhere. The sandwich was delicious. Warm, freshly made, it's delicious on the sesame roll. The cheese pull, the cross section, just chef's kiss. Overall, I would rate it 10/10. I will be back, but I'm gonna give it some time because that parking lot and even turning into it is an absolute nightmare.
For any other displaced northerners who miss the Italian deli experience, this place will satisfy that craving. Pros; service is quick and friendly. The shop area is super well stocked considering its size. 10/10 Servings are generous and prices are reasonable. They have kid friendly options (single all beef meatball, cheesy panini) and plenty of take away dinner options. Cons; if you show up at the end of the day expect slightly chewier meatballs and a somewhat smaller selection. Overall I will definitely be back to shop and try out their breakfasts!
Giving another shoutout to Stasio's after 23 check-ins. I can't recommend this deli enough! In fact, many other Yelpers agree as this place was Number 2. on the "Top Yelp Restaurants" list in November (see pic!) In the past year, I've had several take home dinners that were amazing, rivaling sit-down Italian restaurant quality! The sandwiches, including the strombolis, and the dessert are also over the top. I've recently tried the soups, and I can voucher for their homemade authenticity. For my 23rd visit, I took home the Chicken Pancetta for dinner. I also purchased the soup of the day which was Beef Barley. I warmed up both when I got home (as well as the next day as there was plenty!) The Beef Barley soup had a nice savory broth that included celery, mushrooms, zucchini, sliced potatoes, and carrots, along with the beef and barley. It was as flavorful as it sounds. The Chicken Pancetta included mushrooms and peas in a white wine cream sauce. It was layered on top of a bed of penne pasta. The white wine cream sauce was so delicate and delectable that I was still spooning some of it at the end of the meal, relishing its taste. Stasio's is hands down the BEST deli in the Orlando area. Don't take it just from me, numerous Yelpers cannot be wrong making it the No. 2 restaurant on its 2025 list. Don't walk, run to this deli! You will be glad you did.

One of the best if not the best Italian deli in central Florida! This amazing deli has some of the best sandwiches around. I especially go to get my bacon, egg and cheese fix when craving a up north style BEC. I'd like to think I'm a regular because the greetings you receive when walking in will make you feel that way. The environment is pretty steady as this deli is no secret to the local community and beyond. Also my kids crave their BEC! read more

My favorite Italian deli in town! The subs are always so delicious and freshly made. I newly discovered their breakfast sandwiches which were so clean and packed with flavor. The breads soft and hot from press - absolutely phenomenal! I usually order either the meatball sub or the stasio but if you happen to drop by at breakfast time - I highly recommend the egg and cheese sandwich with the Italian sausage! read more

Breakfast sandwich tasted amazing! The pastrami was a bit too salty but the spicy Italian was amazing! They didn't have any lattes, but went with the cappuccino instead. Parking is always a nightmare there but well worth! read more
Absolutely Phenomenal!! Drive by here daily for the last three weeks and finally turned in to order dinner. We are all so glad I did!!! Parking is nuts at 5pm but it's worth it!!!! Employees are all SO SO friendly!!! They helped me at every turn, from deli ordering to cafe/biscot menu, hours, where things come from etc. so rare to find a place where everyone loves what they are doing! Ordered a variety of things to try, all were so super fresh and tasty. Excellent portion sizes. Salads, olives, sandwiches, meat. Delish. Five stars for friendly service with a smile and too many things I want to try. I guess I will be going back more frequently. The food was amazing I got the chicken Parmesan sub and it did not disappoint. It was HUGE I can't believe I ate it all. #FattyForLife #FoodiesUnite it is a bit packed in their so I would suggest taking the food to go. We need more of these stores in the orlando area. It reminds me of a New York deli. I also ordered a cappuccino which I normally just do espresso and it was super flavorful. I must ask what the espresso they use so I can bring home. There are a handful of tables inside and outside but again I would rather take it home and enjoy it. read more

I can not stop coming here for breakfast. Their breakfast sandwiches remind me of the deli's in New York but amplified. They bake their breads on in house! The breakfast sandwich is the usual, egg and cheese with your choice of meat but it's on a homemade kaiser roll which is absolutely delicious! On another visit I decided to try the stasio sandwich, basically your typical italian. However, that can be further from the truth because this sandwich is not typical AT ALL! It's PACKED with meat, all cured in house, the white balsamic is the perfect balance of sour to the saltiness of the cured meats. The sandwich came with pickles and banana peppers, one small detail I really appreciated is the dice up the banana peppers so it's not big rings which i love because you get pop of peppers in each bite! Very nice touch! Finally, the coffee, no italian establishment can be legit with an amazing cup of coffee which Stasio's delivers! The staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They also carry imported italian products. This is definitely a go-to! read more

I got a "these are good people" welcoming vibe when I walked in. They are happy to answer any question you have and accommodate any request when asked. The vegetarian-friendly Melenzani sub (I posted pic of what I order) is packed with garlic sauteed spinach, roasted red peppers, marinated ripe tomatoes and lightly breaded eggplant with melty fresh mozzerella and balsamic glaze. It's a flavor bomb that I had regrets for sharing with the hubby, instead of saving for lunch the next day! For a vegan option, order the Stasio's Vegan sub with roasted red peppers, fresh spinach, banana peppers, marinated onions, a Balsamic reduction and a side of cucumber tomato salad. Yum read more

I was looking forward to this place and it did not disappoint! Went in just around 1:30 and it was still hopping from the lunch rush. Market is cute but small. Deli is where it's happening! I ordered two Stasio's and a pastrami sandwich along with some antipasto and a chick pea salad. Both were very lightly dressed and flavorful! The Stasio did not let me down with fresh hot capicola, prosciutto and sopressata with fresh mozzarella and some pickled onions with red peppers. I was recommended this place by a good friend and I'm so happy that I stopped by. This is definitely going to be one of my go to sandwich places. I ordered the stasio and the package (meatball). These sandwiches are definitely big. One half filled me up. The quality of the meat is amazing! Really felt I was in an Italian deli. Still need to try the pastries! As soon as I walked in, I saw that you could get sandwiches, deli items, pastries, pasta kits and all sorts of stuff. The man at the counter was very nice and helped me with figuring which pastries to buy. He gave me a general overview of what items are popular and let me know that you can even get lasagnas to go. Absolutely highly recommend and love! Their sandwiches are amazing as well as anything from their pastry case. Among my favorites are their eggplant parmigiana, The Lou (sandwich), and of course their cannolis and ribbon cookies. My family loves getting meatballs to go (they're huge!) so we can enjoy them at home after devouring their sandwiches. This family-owned business is an absolute gem! read more
When I am craving a heart sub, I drive a whole 20 minutes just to get one from Stasios. Parking can be a pain as a brewery is right next door. Upon entering you will some an assortment of Italian groceries, the deli counter where you order your food, and a variety of antipasto. I frequently get a 1/2 pint of pasta salad and 1/2 pint of anti pasta salad to mix together. For the sandwich, The Stasio is the way to go! It is a good portion that I always share with my partner. I like it so much, I have never tried any other item. You pay at the cashier where you first entered. No dining tables but there is a 'bar' where you can enjoy your food. read more

Checked out this place on a Sunday afternoon after reading the rave reviews. The place was busy as seems to be the case pretty much all the time. You order first at the deli and then pick up drinks to the side and check out at the front register. Ordered "The Package" hot sandwich. Delicious; sausage, meatballs and melted cheese. Bread was quality too and was soggy like some meatball subs tend to be. The portions were massive as well so ate half and took the other half home. The only drawback to this place is that seating is very limited, they have a small patio with small seating too. Perhaps next time I'll pay for the sub and take it next door to the brewery and buy a beer at the brewery while eating the sandwich, if that's even allowed! read more

Awhile back, a friend mentioned how tasty Stacio's was and put it on my radar as a place to try. I was finally able to today and my only regret is that I waited this long - it was an amazing experience! As I entered, there was a lot to take in - a mini Italian product market straight ahead with deli type counters all around the wall to my right. Before I had a moment to try to figure it out, one of the staff came up to me, asking if it was my first time there, and showed me the deli counter, how to order and where to pay, with a huge amount of kindness. I ordered The Stacio sub and it was freshly made right away. I was able to grab a seat along their counter at the window when a duo of friends found me looking around and offered their stools, as they were finishing up. Diving into my sub was incredible - I've always loved Italian subs, but this one as something different with the fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and other authentic Italian meats. Made me wish I had room to try one of their authentic Italian pastries too! Don't wait as long as I did to stop by Stacio's - it's entirely worth it. I'll definitely be back! read more

Still the closest thing to a NY deli downtown (tried to tell you Jax). Had the daily special porchetta & ham with peppers, onions & mushrooms, all very fresh and a nice savory element. I had a bite of Moni's Melezani hero which was very good but the pickled peppers kinda overpowered the Eggplant. Good rainbow cookies and sodas. Gotta go back for the fresh ricotta. I have passed this little Italian market so many times and finally decided to stop in. Boy am I glad I did!! The market sells pre-made meals, Italian packaged items, and freshly made sandwiches. It's an order at the deli counter and pay at the register kind of place, but when your food is ready they bring it out all freshly wrapped for you to either enjoy in store (they have a few chairs at their counter) or take home. I decided to eat at the counter and gaze at the cars passing by outside the window. The food came out in no time. I barely had to wait five minutes even though it was lunchtime. I ordered the Stasio, which is their version of a classic Italian sub. There wasn't much frill to this sub but it didn't need it. The meat shone through. It was so fresh and the different cuts of Meat just melted in my mouth. It had the biggest and freshest piece of mozzarella cheese on top. And it was finished off with divine roasted red peppers, onions and white balsamic dressing that gave a bit of a sweetness and juiciness that perfectly complimented the meat. It soaked into the bottom of the bread as well to give it this amazing tenderness. And the bread I thought was just a plan sub roll but it was so perfectly crisp and soft. Apparently they make the rolls in house and you ca tell. This was the closest I've come in Florida to the amazing quality sandwiches I actually had in Italy. I thought the price at first seemed kind of high but the sandwich was HUGE, enough to feed me for two meals, and the quality of the meat, cheese, and bread made the price more than worth it. The market itself is stocked with so many quality staple Italian items, some you can't even find in the normal grocery store. There is a section for coffee drinks, fresh baked pastries, beer and wine, and so many fresh meats, cheese, olives and veggies to take home as well. I will definitely be back whenever planning a great authentic Italian dinner or just to have another amazing Stasio sub. read more

We were in the mood for subs today and stopped at this local hot spot. I ordered the "Sub Of The Week" which had meatballs, mozzarella and spicy Calabrian pepper vodka sauce. It very might well be the best sub I have ever had in my life. Karla ordered the "Steak Sandwich" with cherry peppers on the side. Karla said it tasted great and that she should've included the peppers in the sandwich. Luna had little bites from both of our sandwiches and seems to have enjoyed Karla's just a little bit more. There's no doubt that we will be returning here whenever we visit Orlando! read more

I'm pretty sure that you can call in a pick-up order. Unfortunately, they do not offer any delivery apps.
Is there a gluten free menu?
I don't think so. They are a very traditional Italian deli and marketplace. Give them a call and ask them.
Do they have fresh pasta you can take home?
They do have fresh pasta. It's in the case next to the deli counter. It's imported from Italy and the best pasta!

The bread was delicious , but I did not see any mention of gluten free.
So are there no tables or booths that u can sit comfortably ? I can't bring my 92 year old mom in and ask her to clime up into a bar stool and sit at a counter. What r the options for older folks to sit?
Only counter seating, currently. There are a few rows of food bags, meats, cheese, and sweets to go for purchase. I recommend take out if you're looking for a table to sit and eat.
