    Pepperoni sausage pizza

So I heard about this place through the Grapevine so I finally went and got a pizza and cheesesteak sub and I think this will be my number one go to spot.

Steak egg and cheese (with the cheese pull)
    Liyang S.

This place closed down during COVID and I almost forgot it existed. So glad I remembered one random day. I ordered carry out for their steak egg and cheese sandwiches and it's just as good as I remembered it. Packed full of meat, lettuce, veggies and cheese, and topped with fried egg, it was a gut bomb that thoroughly satisfied my hunger. I was going to save half of the sandwich for later, but when I looked down there was no more sandwich to save. Apparently I ate all of it.

It's a little past the 8 o'clock opening time on Wednesday morning, July 08, 2021, and I've arrived at Starv'n Marv'n Family Restaurant to
    Eric R.

Starv'n Marv'n Family Restaurant has been a Klamath Falls, OR breakfast and lunch icon since they opened their doors back in 1997. The restaurant is noted among locals for serving one of the best breakfasts in town, and I hear their hamburgers are outstanding as well... As you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by a "faux chef" holding a "Please Wait to be Seated" sign, a board announcing the daily specials, and a smile from one of the friendly staff members. There is a long counter, and the kitchen is located to the rear of the restaurant. Corrugated metal seems to be he focal point of the decor, which is very attractive and somewhat unusual. You know you're in Klamath Falls when you're in the dining room, as "Klamath Falls" is featured on an overhead lighting fixture. The dining room is large, and features tables-only, and they're spaced quite far apart... possibly a leftover from the COVID-19 days? There aren't any booths... hope you like tables! The walls are painted with contrasting colors, and framed paintings and photos are hung on the walls for decoration. The dining room is well-lit from large windows, and is very comfortable and attractive. The fourth page of the menu lists "Breakfast for the Starv'n Marv'n," and that description fit me on this Wednesday morning in early July, as had worked up quite an appetite. I scanned the entire breakfast section of the menu - you can order from the lunch section if you choose - and my eyes landed on "The Klamath Farmer," and I went with that, as it seemed to be the "flagship" breakfast choice of this fine restaurant. From the "Breakfast for the Starv'n Marv'n" section of the breakfast menu, I went with "The Klamath Farmer," which headlined the second page of the breakfast section of the menu. Since today was my first visit to Starv'n Marv'n, and I was in Klamath Falls, this seemed like a great place to begin. The menu describes "The Klamath Farmer" as, "Double hash browns topped with two sausage patties and three eggs smothered in our homemade country gravy." This breakfast was HUGE, and was definitely fit for a hungry, hard-working Klamath farmer. The foundation of the "farmer" is a double helping of hash brown potatoes, which were perfectly deep fried to a golden brown on the outside, and tender, chewy-white on the inside. On top of the hash browns were two sausage patties, which were tasty, juicy, perfectly seasoned and tender. Next were three fried eggs, in my case, perfectly fried, over easy, as I ordered. The whole mountain of breakfast goodness was covered with in-house-made sausage gravy, which was thick, seasoned, and had lots of chunks of sausage. Thick, "Texas style" sourdough toast on a separate plate rounded out this amazing breakfast. Such a great breakfast, as everything was cooked to order, and simply delicious! This breakfast will satisfy the hearties of appetites - like my breakfast appetite - and will keep a hungry lumberjack, linebacker or rancher satisfied all day. I skipped lunch and just enjoyed a small salad for dinner. I recommend this breakfast! I absolutely LOVED my hearty breakfast, as it was perfectly cooked and delicious! It was so HUGE that I simply enjoyed a small salad for dinner, as it kept me fueled for the rest of my day. For an amazing breakfast or lunch, eat where the locals dine, at Starv'n Marv'n Family Restaurant, located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. As the sign at the entrance states, "A Klamath original..." Five Star "comfort food" dining, any way you look at it!

3/9/19-one year later and I tried to give this place another chance after coming back into town late. After trying to order, I couldn't hear the total of the food so when I asked to clarify, the man on the phone yelled at me and hung up. Looks like it really is over!

Wings Dinner, comes with 6 piece wings fries and bread

I ordered delivery on Doordash from this place a few hours before closing and I was neutral about my entire order all throughout. I ordered the Pepperoni Lovers Medium (14.95$) and the Wings Dinner (10.45) , we were bored and wanted to try something new other than Papa Johns. The pizza had like a cheese capsule on top and under had more pepperoni it was really strange as if they topped it twice in a pattern, it wasn't good but it wasn't bad either I could still eat it but I wouldn't go out of my way for a slice. The wings were good but I personally dislike breaded wings because they get soggy and gross with the sauce, it was alright not bad for 11$ it came with fries and they were crisped to perfection :3, it came with a side of bread which confuses me because I'd think of celery first or probably like a small coleslaw but bread no thanks bro

The pizza was absolutely Delicious!!!! Sammy and Jennifer were very kind. The drinks were great too, I got a margarita classic We also got to meet the owner Rick, very nice down to earth owner. He came and checked in on every table to make sure they are good and asked if they needed anything. He came and checked in on us too. He was very kind and caring and went out of his way to have a celebration for my husband's birthday. The restaurant had such a modern, homey, comfort feel. I loved the decor!! The service and ambiance was amazing!! Everything was amazing!! The chairs extremely comfortable Thank you Jennifer, Sammy and Rick for an amazing and beautiful experience. We will be back and can't wait to try more items on the menu. Have an amazing day and thank you for the love, warmth and care you show to your customers.

We arrived early evening still hot/sunny outside. We were asked upon entering if we had a reservation? We replied no didn't know you took reservations. We were then seated. The vibe inside looking around felt classy, cool & comfortable. The menu is quite extensive offering appetizers, entree salads, pastas, risottos & pizza. Our server explains w/confident enthusiasm pizza dough & pastas made fresh daily. We ordered roasted brussels sprouts w/bacon. Smoky crispy brussels sprouts, tender savory bacon. My friend ordered the Napoli Margarita Pizza-fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese & basil (top) in photo. I ordered Sausage Pizza-Roman-sausage, marinated red peppers mozzarella, and asiago cheese. Roman-is square shaped crust-think focaccia bread. Tender buttery flavor w/crispy edge, rich tasty sausage & tangy red peppers & creamy cheese. Delicious meal fresh ingredients. I ordered the Abe Berry Spritzer (elderberry aperol, prosecco) light refreshing fruity flavor. Complemented the richly flavored pizza. We both enjoyed our meal. Our attentive provided great customer service. As we left, looking around-the not so large restaurant had filled up w/people enjoying themselves. Yes worth another visit. See photos.

Having traveled and dined across the globe, I did not expect homemade pasta, fresh espresso, and Neapolitan style pizza to be in Rockville MD. The biggest hit for me was the suppli appetizer. These are absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly! Similar to arancini but somehow even more delicious. These are a must-order. I had the pasta alla vongole and a bite of my husband's chicken parmigiana. Our friend had mushroom ravioli that she loved, but I didn't try as I don't care for mushrooms. I've been on a clams and garlic kick lately for some reason and the vongole comes with these and bonus bacon. I would have preferred the bacon a tad crispier, but that is personal preference. I'd give this dish 4* - I would get it again but after trying some others. From the one bite the chicken parmigiana was a 5*. Their marinara is very good and the linguine in both our dishes tastes freshly made. We all split the chocolate temptation dessert and I ate more of it than I expected to, it is chocolate mousse adjacent cake with ganache frosting, very light, perfectly sweet. Often I find chocolate desserts too much after a big meal but this one wasn't heavy at all. 5* My friend ordered sangria which she thought was more like a wine cooler; too sweet for her French oenophile sensibilities and a bit lighter than a sangria usually is, but I am a pleb who loves sweet drinks and I would order it. If you are a sangria purist you might not care for it. Hubs enjoyed his old fashioned but said it needed a dash more bitters to be perfect. I was driving so enjoyed a non-dirty Shirley. Prices to me are reasonable for quality and portion size; our tab ended up high because of the appetizer, drinks and dessert but if you just had pizza or pasta with soda it would be pretty affordable. I will be back to get more suppli and try other dishes!
