However we had to do the VIP AREA because the music in the regular bowling area will blow your ears out. Stars and strikes is a new staple in the neighborhood but it's still something fun for kids to do in spite of the times were living in. Start and Stripes have lots of great games for kids to play, laser tag, interactive games, bowling and a sports lounge so parents can watch sports while the kids have their fun. This "fun spot" is a place to remind kids that there is a place where things are still somewhat normal (outside of the mask). They do have signs posted reminding people to wear masks and that they do comply with COVID guidelines for the facility; they do a good job sanitizing and wiping down the games, but I would like to see more sanitizing stations posted around. All in all, this is a nice place to let the kids and the kids at heart blow off some steam and have some fun. read more

Stars and Strikes was my destination for planning my daughter's 10th Birthday. This place is like a mini Las Vegas for kids. Most of her family resides in Charlotte so we decided to travel the 2 hours to Concord. This party was very last minute and SNS was able to kindly accommodate us and scheduled the party 1 day prior to the date. A kind woman named Jenna contacted me after I emailed about my last minute request for a 2 hour Hall of Fame birthday package. The package included Laser Tag ( my daughter's favorite), Bumper Cars, a Ticket Tornado for the birthday child, $10 Arcade & 1 hour of unlimited Video Game cards. Angelica was our party host and she did an excellent job. She was very organized and accommodated requests. I like how she followed an itinerary and moved the guests from activity to activity. The room was the perfect size and they set up our balloons perfectly. The pizza we had was pretty good for the value as well. We really enjoyed the laser Tag here. The 2 story room was perfect and to spread out and take down the other team. I wish we would have had more time. Keya helped out during laser tag and she is a phenomenal staff member. She checked the children out when they redeemed their points for prizes. I really commend the staff here. They care and it shows. This place was spic and span clean and a new location. All the arcade games were new and functioning. There were so many to choose from ! The quality of prizes the children received are unmatched. My daughter scored some prizes she really loves. A new adorable basketball, fidget spinners with interchangeable emoji faces, a cute glitter duck she won from the claw machine. The Winner's Circle is so accurate. The music selection they played was awesome also. I really liked this entertainment center, I just wish they had more to do. Maybe Karaoke, A rope course, jump zone would be an added bonus. All lanes have electronic scoring. The score cards have a large selection of themes and animations. It makes the game more enjoyable. You may also order food and drinks from your bowling area. Press the call button, select food or drinks, and a server will come to your lane to take your order. The arcade portion uses a fillable card to swipe at the games in order to play. You also earn "tickets"(like Chuck E Cheese) to spend in the prize store. They have some carnival-like game such as skeeball and wack-a-mole or pop-a-shot. They also have old school video games like PacMan and Galaga. They have multiple versions of the skill crane game. They have a 96.5 sanitation grade for their food prep areas. I saw several people receive pizzas and wings. They smelled good. I ordered a drink from the bar that was good. The sell refreshments like popcorn and Icees. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5, is because the food isn't great, but it's a bowling alley/fun center, so I didn't go in having any high expectations for that. Otherwise, my daughter and I had a great time here. I've read some negative reviews for this place, but my experience was the opposite. I've only been here a couple of times but have enjoyed both visits with friends! It's a very large space that is great for families or even girl's nights! It has lots of arcade games, bowling, a bar, bumper cars, and more! During the week it seems the place isn't super busy, but even so- staff is still on hand, pleasant, and helpful. There is a robot who serves tables after you order at the kiosk near the bar, which my friend and I thought was both cool and a little strange, as the place wasn't very busy. But maybe they are trying to figure out the robots and get it down for busier nights when the staff needs extra help? Lots to do here, but keep in mind it does get pricey, especially the bowling and arcade games. The drinks are also a bit overpriced in my opinion, but you are paying for the experience and it's not a place you would visit everyday, so I'd say it's well worth it. I've tried the Buffalo wings with fries and they were delicious and very flavorful! When we got there only the VIP lanes were open and when I asked what that the difference between regular and VIP was, the cashier told me "you don't have to wait until 7".. she was incredibly rude but we ignored it. Saturday, 8/20 we made a late reservation (11:00pm); for a group of 8. It was so much fun! The staff was super friendly and our family enjoyed bowling and the cocktails were cool. The 4/5 stars is only because the bar was extremely slow and made mistakes with serving the alcohol. For example the bartender poured a cup of patron and a cup of vodka and didn't make sure the server knew which drink was which. Also she ran out of alcohol but didn't mention it which caused a little confusion at the table. Eventually we got it all worked out. In the future if you are unsure you either remake the drinks to confirm or check to see which is which. You can't leave the customer to figure it out. Also we didn't get to complete our last round which kind of sucked because we felt a little cheated out our game but next time we'll just come a little earlier. To Management/corporate, I want to reach out to let you know how disappointed I am with my daughter's party today. What an utter disaster! This was our first time at Stars and Strikes. There was not one person to direct us when we arrived. We walked around and found where we should be. Not once did a server or party guide come to our table. I had to go search for someone. We were never told a schedule of plans and the pizza came out almost an hour late. When the pizza did come out it wasn't cut. I had to find a server to bring us a knife. I had to locate a person for napkins and extra plates. We received our arcade cards only after tracking down someone and it was literally 2:15 and the party was suppose to end at 2:30. We spent the whole time tracking someone down to get the things we were promised for the party I paid for. I spoke to a manager ( can't remember her name) she was an older lady with short silver/ white hair at the Concord location. She wasn't very helpful but did bring us napkins. At this point, I did not get what I was told when I scheduled a birthday party. I even considered disputing it with my bank but I thought I would contact you first. I would like a partial refund. I understand staffing issues or whatever else could have been an issue but we were totally dissatisfied with not getting what was promised and paid for. read more

We had a birthday party here and while they charge a 12% gratuity fee for the host of the party, the host assigned to our party was clueless. And everyone in our party wanted to give Autumn a piece of our minds after witnessing her disgusting behavior. We will never have another party here. I asked for a towel to clean my table, when I asked to have them wet it i got an attitude. Didnt even offer to clean it. I watched managers walk by and do nothing For an hour.
