Ash has an hilarious personality that will make you look forward to your early morning appointments and she makes sure that you're taken care of with snacks and drinks (I think this is only for those that go to her salon though). As for the makeup and hair...LASTED ALL DAY LONG!! I barely needed a touch up! Ash knew what products would work for my face and I'm still blown away by her results. I wasn't even a contestant in the pageant, but she made me feel just as beautiful as them. She's also willing to tell you what products she's using and I've definitely upped my makeup game after coming home. It's also good to note that I gave her creative freedom along with minor details about the events and everything turned out way better than I imagined. I'm not even engaged yet and seriously considering flying her out to wherever my ceremony will be!! Notes: Definitely read her FAQ on how to prep before your appointments. I already go in regularly for facials so I'm assuming that's what helped as well. I also had no idea my regular shampoo and conditioner were heavy products so I was able to switch over to something lighter before going to see her. Small tip: if you plan to have hair and makeup services at your venue, coordinate with your artists early to determine what time you'll need venue access. You might be surprised at how long it takes to complete hair and makeup! After booking, Tim was prompt, kind, and professional with email communication, and the team was very gracious and accommodating with an unforeseen change along the way. On the wedding day, we had Gia and Robin, and they were absolutely fantastic. They arrived very prepared--even bringing extra lighting and extension cords. They were calm, professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. Exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding morning. Gia did my hair and makeup plus three additional hair services, and Robin handled six other makeup services. Everyone--including our moms--was thrilled with how they looked. My mom even mentioned it again the day after the wedding, which really says a lot. Gia truly listened to me. I talked through everything: my uneven eyelids (lol), bald spots along my hairline, inspiration photos, likes and dislikes, and my history of sensitive eyes with false lashes (usually they start poking out of my eyelids by the end of the night when done by other makeup artists). Gia had a solution for everything. She modified the placement/sizing of the false lashes, used a color filler for the bald spots, and chose a latex-based lash glue for extra strength (my lashes stayed perfectly intact all night--even after happy tears!). When my under-eye area began to crease, Gia not only adjusted the makeup but also applied a special serum to help keep it smooth. The result was lovely, comfortable, and lasted all night. I am so grateful for Gia and Robin--they are talented, thoughtful, and truly care about their clients. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't what I expected. When she arrived, she didn't have a professional setup at all. no lighting, no chair, no proper kit setup just a makeup bag and a small mirror placed on my friend's dining table. She did mention she had just moved to Florida so maybe that explains why she didn't have a real setup, I'm not sure. I showed her my inspo photos and clearly explained that I wanted a clean girl makeup, very light makeup look with soft pink blush and almost no eyeshadow. She said it was fine, but the makeup she did was completely different. She finished in about 20 to 25 minutes, and she ended up giving me dark eyeshadow even though I specifically said I didn't want that. The foundation made me look orange and wasn't matched to my skin tone. Overall, the makeup looked outdated, almost like a 2016 style, not the fresh and natural look I asked for. I was really disappointed, especially since this was for my friend's wedding. I also want to add that I didn't really speak up because it was my first time getting my makeup done professionally, and I get shy about saying something. I was already nervous and had to rush to a whole wedding right after, so I didn't want her to have to start over or make things awkward. I just left feeling frustrated. I still tipped her because she was very sweet, but the service didn't meet my expectations at all.

Meli is always professional and quick to answer any questions. One thing that I think she does differently is she looks at your skin type and it's current condition to decide what moisturizer and products to use. I went to her once hungover as hell, and she explained why she used a certain dewy moisturizer and foundation on my face. This is helpful because there are SO many options out there, it's great to know what an expert thinks is right for you. Meli takes her time and listens.
