Estate planning for seniors -- especially during a period of grief -- requires far more than legal competence; it demands patience, clarity, and genuine compassion. This office failed to meet that standard. From the start, Jennifer Lumsdaine was condescending and disrespectful to my mother, treating her as though her concerns were unimportant. It was painful to witness. Most concerning was the process after the initial meeting. Despite multiple requests, we faced unnecessary difficulty in obtaining copies of the documents my mother had paid for. They were only provided after we resorted to a formal written request. Extremely Disappointed - Lack of Communication & No Results…read more I hired Max Alavi APC OC Trusted Lawyers to assist me with stopping a foreclosure on my property. From the beginning, I provided all requested documentation upfront to ensure there were no delays. Despite this, I was later told that documents were missing, which was extremely concerning. Communication has been very impersonal and inconsistent. I repeatedly asked for updates and was told that they "just needed a sale date" to move forward. There was in fact a sale date scheduled for March 3, 2026, and to my knowledge, no meaningful action has been taken to stop the foreclosure. Throughout this process, I have paid significant fees, yet I have not seen the level of urgency, transparency, or results that were promised. This has been a very stressful situation, and I expected professionalism, accountability, and proactive legal support. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. I hope they improve their communication and client care practices in the future.

I paid attorney Michael Eyre for a consultation and it ended up being a big mistake…read more While Mr. Eyre presents as a nice personality, in my experience, he lacked organization, empathy and accountability. First, during the consultation, Mr. Eyre seemed unsure of what to talk about. He also allowed us to go over an hour, then complained. So I paid him double his fee. Then Mr. Eyre said he would follow up the following workday and he didn't. After days of not hearing from the attorney, I had to hunt him down. The when I finally got him on the phone, he didn't apologize and took no responsibility. Instead, he claimed that there was some misunderstanding. Once Mr. Eyre's practices were exposed and he realized the poor impression he had made, he bowed out and suddenly claimed that he couldn't help me with an easy case in default (that also wouldn't make him a lot of money). I wasn't planning on using Mr. Eyre due to his poor start. But I wanted to share my experience for others to heed. I am an Air Force veteran and this is my true and sworn testimony.
