After checking out his spotless AVVO rating and his stellar background, I thought he'd never give me any time of his day like some lawyers. But after speaking with attorney Manibog for 10 minutes, I wanted him to be my brother. He truly advocates justice for consumers and goes out of his way, like above and beyond to assist and comfort you to where your confidence level boots ten fold. Unlike other practices, he answered his own phone and calls you back like he says in a new york minute. He said he'd reviewed my case, and he really did on that same morning I called. He kindly advised me on my options and gave me courage like a big brother. He consoled me and gave me referrals, even offered to make calls for me. That short interaction gave me so much comfort and confidence, I felt like I could take a baby nap after. I will forever be grateful for his sage advice and compassion he's shown me, though it was unfortunate he couldn't represent me. He is a gem and a rare species in this rotten world we live in. If there were just a million more kind souls like Manibog existed in this country, or better yet, if he were to become the president, then America will truly be GREAT again! read more

Darren did a good job and got me more than the insurance offered. The review below is not my account.

This review is long overdue. It was Friday morning while heading for work when I was rear-ended. I was shaky, frightened but first thing that came to my mind was to call 911 and I ended up in the ER secondary to so much pain. Informed my insurance (they seemed to be nice initially but business is business). I was in horrible pain on my neck and lower back while browsing online and found Atty. Manibog with a very good ratings. True enough, it was SUNDAY (not sure if I will be picked-up by voice mail but still tried because I don't know what to do, I couldn't sleep and remain frightened due to the flashback of the accident whenever I close my eyes) called Atty. Manibog office number and to my surprised I feel like my call was transfered to his cellphone. He patiently listened over the phone and it feels like you are talking to a family for what had happened. Atty. Manibog asked to meet me the next day, that was Monday morning in his office. I was hesitant initially because I never thought that I could use an Attorney my entire life. Atty. Manibog is very pleasant, accomodating and he will treat you as family. He explained to me everything about the process and his primary goal is to get the treatment I needed. Atty. Manibog and Gilda assisted me every step of the way. You just have to be very, very patience. They sure did check on me from time to time and for the updates. I cannot thank you enough Atty. Manibog for your help. More Blessings to you and to your wonderful lawfirm. read more

My husband and I got rail ended in two accidents in July last year and was seeking for help from Lawyer Darren. The process is very slow and we fully understood and waited patiently. However, by far we have not heard anything from our two car accident cases. We tried to contact the office couple times every week and were transferred to automatic record system every time and there is no call back at all. We were very disappointed. Updated - closed the case with a pretty good results. Sometimes patience is needed for those cases. I appreciated Darren's help. read more

Just got my case settled, overall, it was a great experience. Mr. Manibog always try to find time to give a good chat & explain the process. His Long Beach office makes it convenient for his OC, Southbay clients like me. It's my first time go through an injury accident process and my word of advice is just being able to be patient with it. Five stars for the representation process ... four stars for the long process, which I guess gave me a better outcome for my settlement. Summary: Yes I would use & recommend this law firm again. read more

AMAZING service. I would highly recommend you use this law firm. My case was questionable and they won for me! They fought for me and truly believed we would win and worked hard to do so. The service was amazing, a full service kind of place. They were easy to talk to and always called me back. Any time I had any questions they took great care to take care of me. I would definitely use them again. A++ read more

I don't typically write Yelp reviews but Mr. Manibog and his team in Long Beach, CA did such a great job with my auto accident case I felt I needed to. After going through something like this the last thing I wanted to do was be burdened trying to find the right lawyer, one I felt truly cared and was fair in getting me the money I needed to cover hospital expenses etc. (and in fact, he got me more money than expected). I researched and called all the top-rated injury lawyers in Long Beach via Yelp ratings and after reading the reviews went with Mr. Manibog. I'd never been through anything like this before, and Darren and his team were always very professional, punctual and explained things in a way that was very clear and easy to understand. At any point, if I had a question they always took the time and were sensitive to my concerns. It did take 9 months, but I truly feel like they are family now. I would absolutely recommend Darren. read more

My review might not be as exciting as everyone else's on here but what he did for me was a lot more meaningful and heartfelt. Mr. Manibog helped me when no other lawyer could do the same. Growing up, my family and I had a cat named Lola. The family-friend veterinarian that we went to had retired and finding an affordable vet that was also nearby was hard. This new vet clinic in Long Beach opened up so I took my Lola in for a checkup. There had been this strange scab growing around her eye. My dad thought maybe it was an abscess or something. She was getting older so I wanted to be extra safe and take her in. I took Lola in, dropped her off, then went about my workday. I then later received a phone call telling me that Lola had passed away. To make a long story short, this whole situation seemed so sudden and a bit fishy. I decided to go to another vet and get a second opinion. He said that he thought there was serious negligence, so I started to hunt for an attorney. My family and I went to 3 attorneys and they all turned us down. None of them had even bothered to go into details with me. I know it's just a pet but to me Lola was a part of my family. One of my friends said she had been recently represented by Mr. Manibog. Even from the initial interview, I could feel his want to help me. He didn't ask me about money, which 2 of the last 3 attorneys did. We spoke about negligence and I provided the evidence I had researched such as the photos and signed statements. Within an hour, he let me know that there would be no lawsuit, no mediation, and the best we could do was settle for some type of compensation. All I really wanted from this vet was the truth and an apology for his mistakes. I didn't really care for the money. Once we settled out in court, I received a refund for the medical bills and an apology. Mr. Manibog didn't treat me like another person to scam and take the little money I do have. He showed such humility and compassion. He made sure that my Lola's justice was important and justified. Thank you a million times Mr. Manibog, its good to see that there are still some decent lawyers out there who care about the tiny cases like mine. read more

When seeking a lawyer, the only name that comes from my entire family when asked is Manibog. Being a former client of Monty Manibog, I knew my recent case was definitely going to be in good hands with Darren Manibog. Seeking a lawyer can definitely feel intimidating especially when it's your first time being involved in an accident. Most people just let the insurances handle it and it's a done deal; but they don't realize there's more to an accident than a wrecked car, etc. One's health and well being are the most important and it requires immediate attention. Many walk around without health insurance and just live with the injuries posed on them without treatment because they don't have coverage and can't afford to pay for outrageous medical bills... Let alone a lawyer. This is where Darren and his colleagues come into play and do what they do best! Darren made sure we were constantly well aware of the progress of our case and gave us updates when possible. Depending on the client, he can update you minute to minute details or just do his work and give you periodic updates that he feels necessary to run by you first prior to proceeding. Nothing beats having an Atty on speed dial! We just wrapped up our case & Darren clearly explained everything in a way we would be able to understand the itemization of the settlement and how they came to the offer. Once again, Manibog has held up their credibility! If you need help in a case, make Darren your first call before doing anything else & he will get the ball rolling immediately and without hesitation. Thank you Atty. Darren Manibog for your persistence, knowledge, professionalism, and genuine kindness during this journey. We couldn't have moved forward properly without your assistance! Thank you! read more

Forever thankful that I decided with Manibog Law and I would definitely recommend anyone who are distressed over their case to have him represent you, he really won't let you down! UPDATE: Just wanted to update this because I was contacted finally after some time and after my post below. I cannot speak on the service of this firm because I found other representation before having my call and email answered. ORIGINAL: They do not return calls or emails. I was in a simple 4 car pile-up and I sent in photos and a little summary of my situation and did not even get an acknowledgment that it was received even though they tout 'free consultation.' I attempted to contact them online and the person online took my information but never responded either. They are extremely unprofessional or extremely unorganized, not sure which. read more

An officer with the Long Beach Fire Department ran my leg over with a motorized cart, leading to injury to my hip and foot. Fortunately my X-rays came back negative. During this time Jilda, a paralegal with Manibog Law, demonstrated genuine concern for me and coached me to take the proper steps to get my exams while waiting to see what kind of case I had. Because it didn't turn out to be a long-term serious injury, Jilda recommended that I simply file the claim myself to the city. Although I didn't need an attorney's services in the end, it was reassuring to know I had Jilda and Manibog Law in my corner. read more

This review is long overdue. I can't speak highly enough of Darren both as a person and as an ethical, great lawyer. Darren represented me in a car accident case where I ended up with injuries that required a lot of medical treatment and which caused me untold misery. The insurance company for the party at fault continued to stall the case in order to run the statute of limitations on the case. Darren knew exactly what to do. He was tenacious and ethical. He was also incredibly patient about answering my questions and guiding me through the whole process of having to file suit against a party that never intended to pay for my medical expenditures. Darren secured a settlement for me and held the other party accountable. I've sent others to him and they've received the same honest and thoughtful service from a consummate professional. I cant recommend him enough. read more

My family and I were in a car accident two years ago. I found Mr. Darren Manibog from yelp and reached out to him the day after my accident. I called the office and talked to his receptionist who said she would have Darren give me a call when he was available. Darren called me back within an hour and met with me at his Long Beach office the next day. Although the process was slow, my husband and I are very thankful that it took the amount of time it did and that the attorney did not encourage us to settle a year ago. Mr. Manibog went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were compensated as fairly as we could be without going to trial. (I was agaisnt going to trial). Due to waiting for an extended amount of time before settling the case, we were awarded a significant amount more due to Darrens persistance with the other insurance carrier.
