Being represented by Mrs. Pratt and her staff was an absolutely upsetting, frustrating, and disappointing experience. Despite knowing Colleen Pratt and dealing with her personally for over 20 years, her treatment and conduct were not only unprofessional but also very hurtful. I have many years of legal experience, and I'm shocked by the unprofessionalism I received from Mrs. Pratt and her team. Despite referring multiple family and friends to her firm, I was taken aback when Mrs. Pratt implied that I said she didn't care about her clients. This claim is not only false, but also absurd given the number of referrals I've made to her directly. I was left to handle critical aspects of my claim including personally picking up my medical records from hospitals, scheduling my own MRI, obtaining the MRI results, obtaining additional pertinent documentation, and ascertaining my own Orthopedic treatment. Making matters worse my claim was accepted and she did nothing to obtain what I was entitled to. I needed an orthopedic and she sent me to a chiropractor which, frankly made my condition worse. Her office failed to secure necessary evaluations and treatment for my debilitating injuries, and my case sat in limbo. I was often alone on conference calls with her staff, as Mrs. Pratt was never present. When I switched attorneys, I received 4x the offer Colleen presented me with, plus benefits such as my back TTD benefits owed to me, current benefits, penalties, mileage reimbursement and anything else I was entitled to. To make matters worse, Mrs. Pratt implied that I should settle my case quickly due to my sister's passing, completely disregarding the severity of my injuries and the impact on my life. To top it off, Mrs. Pratt is seeking attorney fees for work she didn't do - I'm the one along with my husband's support who did the work & heavy lifting on my case. I have plenty of documentation to support my claims. I strongly advise others to research their attorneys carefully before hiring anyone. Ms. Pratt is belittling, condescending and arrogant. She literally told me she would Not explain different aspects of my Case "more than Once". If I didn't understand, the first time, too bad. I also had multiple office staff tell me they Don't have time to call me or reply to my emails because it takes too much time when they are working on other things. This Firm couldn't even get the Insurance company to correct my address until After my Case was settled. BEWARE! They Claim they have the Client's Best Interest but that was 100% a LIE in my case. If I could get them to respond, phone was the preference because I couldn't prove how they spoke to me or the lies they were telling me. It got to the point where I communicated via email primarily so I had Proof of lies they told. They would say they were filing motions but when I requested Proof, they couldn't provide any. They told me they were looking for Doctors for me but when I asked for Names, Addresses and Phone Numbers of who they contacted, they couldn't provide me a single name. I told them, the day I hired them, I just want to settle. Pratt Williams was my second Attorney. I had already gone through years of wasted time. My percentages of Disability were already determined. I was already declared Permanently Disabled. All Pratt Williams needed to do was Settle for me. They didn't Care what I wanted. They had their own agenda. I felt like they dragged out my case so they could say they put in as much time as my first Attorney so when my Case settled, they could claim at least half the Attorney fees. I had such a bad experience with this Firm that I Filed complaints with the Bar Association against Colleen Pratt and Erik Stenberg. read more

After about 6 months on Workmans Comp,The Attorney's finally got around to reading my Casework a few hours before my deposition. Prior to the deposition I was told by a A&P secretary to not contact them and I would be contacted if any information was needed. The Case was settled without any help or advice from my attorney Josh. I wanted to entire ordeal to be over and I went ahead and took the first Offer. I would have been better off negotiating everything by myself as A&P did little to Nothing for me.. Collen -- You never met me, your associates made promises they could never deliver on, let opposing counsel delay litigating my case, cancel depositions, PQME in July of 2018, never once read my file and I gave you blocks of months when I was available for hearings, Depo's, PQME, etc. You threaten to drop my case, if I did not appear for these hearings. You did nothing to get my travel expenses paid for PQME, Deposition and traveled internationally on 3 occasions, for these events and then have the opposing Counsel cancel the depo. and the Doctor the PQME. As soon as she dismissed herself from my case, she filed a "lien", with the court to get money if I were to get an award for medical injuries, loss of wages and travel expenses. In 3 years I have not received medical treatment, lost wages, or disability insurance for my case. Granted she had the case for 8 months and did little to nothing, I recovered no damages. Doesn't listen to her client is unprepared. Read the Review from "Corey" below and you see the pattern. ITS ALL ABOUT THE POTENTIAL SIZE OF THE AWARD, SHE DOES NOT GET INVOLVED but dishes the small cases to underpaid paralegals. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism with legal representation. I have read the other reviewers and understand their frustrations but I am reviewing Ainbinder and Pratt AFTER having 2 other attorney's handle my Work comp case. The review is for 5 stars because it is as good as it gets. It isn't perfect and there are a lot of issues but now that I have way more experience than I ever wanted and a lot of research and insight into the very messed up broken system that we call Work Comp, I can tell you in all honesty that almost all of the problems I encountered from AnP were related to the way the system works and the insurance causing issues and not them specifically. When I did have a complaint it was addressed and handled. Phone calls were returned and the partners themselves would handle it. I requested specifically that Colleen Pratt show up for my trial even though a junior named Josh had done a good job at my hearing because I wanted the experience she had and I trusted her after several interactions. She did show up and did a great job! I started this nightmare with no knowledge of the WC system at all and just found the first atty that came up on the internet because the insurance company told me I needed one. I wasn't suing and just wanted to get back to work but they said the prolonged injury meant paperwork that would be too complicated without legal guidance. So I got the first one and they were beyond horrible. I won't go into great detail because I am not reviewing them here. I had them for 1 year and things got worse. I finally had enough and found another smaller attorney in the hopes that they would at least answer the phone. They were nicer and seemed more honest but still didn't get much movement. I finally changed them after I tried to call every day for a week crying because I was receiving no money or treatment and couldn't work. I was desperate as I could not pay my rent. I broke down on the phone and they were just callous and I never received a return call from the atty himself. I figured if he didn't care about me then I didn't care about him and I looked for another one. This time I had way more knowledge and did lots of research and found AnP. I called and got put on the phone with Ainbinder right away. He made an appt himself to see me the next day. He spent 30 minutes with me. He took my files and was brutally honest which I like. I signed on with them and in just a few weeks starting receiving treatment and weekly payments again. I have been with them less than a year and Colleen Pratt just settled my case and pissed off the insurance because they didn't want to pay so much. I can now have my life back and move forward to deal with my injury etc. myself thanks to AnP. If only I had gone with them first then I wouldn't be so bad off. Lesson learned For those unfortunate souls who have a work comp situation, keep in mind, it is the government and the way people have voted that have created this disaster and the attorneys have to navigate that. It isn't always their fault. If you do have to deal then go with AnP and trust what they tell you to do. None of it moves quickly but they at least try to help you. read more

So let me start off this reviewing saying I don't like to write negative reviews and in fact I hadn't even planned on writing a review, however I was solicited by the firm to leave a review and even sent an email asking would I recommend them to family and friends? The answer is No. So here's my honest opinion of what I experienced. Initially I suppose because they wanted my case, I was responded to quickly and with a letter or a call from Mr. Ainbinder if I recollect correctly. It's been almost five years so some of the particulars might be a bit hazy. I remember this impressed me. I felt important. I felt heard. I felt like the head guy cared and had taken the time to speak with me directly. This was after thumbing through google and speaking to several other attorneys. I had never had a law case and didn't know what to expect or how to pursue one. I was in excruciating pain and had four herniated discs in my cervical spine which I wound up being on disability for about a year. As my case started that was the last I ever heard or spoke to Mr Ainbinder. Obviously. My case was small potatoes. To be expected. My case was given to someone else. I'm sure that's how they get you by thinking wow, the head guy called me ! That might sound sour but I had no rancor about this I didn't expect to be handled directly by the head of the firm Well as anyone knows who's had a severe injury about how those first few months or even longer of being in agony and being alone and fighting to just to live and cope and take care of yourself , let alone have the energy to fight to pursue legalities, burearacracy, and to get medical treatment, it is a nightmare. I would like to be able to say that I felt warmly treated , almost like family , cared about , important and meaningful but in the four years my case took I was passed around a couple times to different attorneys , my phone calls went many times unreturned, I had to call repeatedly as their was no proactive communication from them , when I was able to speak to an actual attorney which was infrequently they either seemed unaware or not up to speed on my case (I'm sure they have hundreds) in short I felt like I was a bother and hassling them to pull teeth to get any information. In particular Malia my point person who often didn't return my calls on time or at all , resulting in multiple phone calls was not warm, she was curt and felt borderline condescending at times. I was put in a position of having to try to smooze and be on bended knee every time I dealt with them to try and get any information. After nearly four years As to my settlement? I got one. Was it anywhere near what I felt was worth what I went through. No. But that's subjective. I'm sure I put a greater price on my health than the system. Was it their fault it I didn't get want what I wanted ? I can't say I'm not an attorney. Did they fight for me or settle to easily ? I don't know I wasn't there. But in the four years that I interacted with them. Did I feel like they gave a shit? No. Did I feel heard or listened to ? No. Did I even feel responded to in a timely manner ? No. So if money and a settlement is what you care about and you don't care about how you are treated then maybe this is the place for you. If you want to feel heard , understood, like someone cares and is fighting for you? Well I felt like a number. I don't know if this is helpful to anyone. I don't know if the law or a case is wrong place to be having these expectations but that's how I felt. See for them , maybe this is just business ,for me ,it's my life. And In the end would I go back to them or even recommend them. Nope. The rest is up to you. Good luck.
