I was referred to Long Beach Law by a friend who had a positive experience with Stephanie Loftin, and my own experience was just as great. I had a complicated case that needed to be litigated in civil court, and the process was unimaginably intimidating and overwhelming. All of that changed the moment Stephanie and her paralegal, Nick, took on my case. What had been the most stressful experience of my life became bearable because of their support. Stephanie and Nick were incredibly knowledgeable, steady, and compassionate. They took the time to explain every step in plain language, making all the legal jargon easy to understand. I always felt protected, informed, and genuinely cared for. If you need legal representation--no matter how complicated or overwhelming your situation may feel--I strongly recommend working with Stephanie and the entire team at Long Beach Law. I am profoundly grateful for everything they did for me. You will be too. read more

I had a very expensive webcam call with Stephanie Loftin for advice a couple years back. It was so unforgettable which is why I'm sharing this so late. She was a referral from another attorney that I had previously been working with who stopped doing that type of work. I was very stressed about the money, but I needed urgent help regardless. She essentially told me to Google the information I needed and go to the courts and ask the self help window to find my solution. I'm guessing since there was no other reason to be on the call, she proceeded to share her negative opinions on Christianity (completely unsolicited or appreciated) and then teach me about numerology. I was so taken aback that I didn't know what to say. I did finally ask what exactly I was paying for since I didn't feel like she helped me whatsoever, and she said her professional advice. I really wish I could get that hour and money back from such a waste of time. read more

Highly qualified lawyers for both civil & criminal cases. The staff is like a family, very warm and caring. This is not a cold impersonal mega-corporation that operates in a sterile office. You can expect to at least see the office dog. The building is a historic landmark that was a bar & restaurant prior to becoming a law office. read more

We recently went to Long Beach law to completely redo our trust and will documents and our health directives. Reba Birmingham and her team were just great. They have an efficient information gathering system and translated our responses into a complete suite of documents. We had ample time to review the documents and make changes as needed although we had only a few minor changes we wanted to make based on our own reconsideration. The service was a great value, with a flat rate based on the complexity of our circumstances with half at the beginning and the other half at the end. Questions received swift responses. Attorney Birmingham is a thoughtful and experienced attorney who recognizes how fraught end of life decisions are, and her professional sensitivity and compassion are critical. read more

I have to give the Long Beach Law office and Reba Birmingham specifically an excellent review. Reba recently updated my 90 year old parent's trust, wills and directives. She was wonderful in explaining all the legalese in common language they could understand and exhibited great patience in doing so. She had several very good suggestions needed to reflect changes in the law and practices of banks in dealing with trustees. I would definitely recommend her services to my closest friends and family. Five stars does not begin to adequately describe the type of professionalism, focus, advice and help that not only Stephanie has given to me but the entire office has provided to date. The cliché of bad lawyers does NOT apply here. I have consulted her impressive knowledge, pestered her with questions, brought in forms for review and through all of my meandering, missteps and mistakes they have been beyond what I could have hoped for to help get me through this mental hurdle and mountain of legalese concepts. Any time a conversation comes up regarding a legal issue, I have recommended this office multiple times to my friends and will not hesitate to continue to do so. read more

Stephanie represented a friend of mine in a criminal case a lil time back and just recently represented me in a totally bogus case of mistaken identity. Right out the gate she had me working with a private investigator and totally hounded the city prosecutors office. The to this point never went past the the first court appearance. I credit her office with constant work in and out of court that saved my but. She is kind, confident, we referenced and prepared. If I had any other attorney I think I would have been put in the hospital for nerves. She has your back. read more

Well let's see.. Stephanie Loftin was not even my lawyer to start with. She is my husbands. He had filed a restraining order against me, and wanted to ask for spousal support, my cat, and the house we rent. I was SO, SO nervous! I didn't know what was going to happen. Thank goodness for Stephanie! She made it all very fair, with very little stress. I was so relieved. I would highly recommend her. I think that says a lot coming from the other party. Thank you Stephanie! read more

These lawyers, Audrey Stephanie Loftin and Reba Birmingham, and their associates and staff are the good gals & guys. When I needed to find an attorney to represent me in my divorce, Stephanie Loftin came highly recommended. I might be unusual, but I felt guilty about my divorce and was ready to walk away with nothing. I knew that I needed to protect myself so that I'd be able to get back on my feet after having given up my career so that my wife and I could move out of state so that she could pursue hers. I didn't want to get all that I COULD get out of my divorce--I just wanted what I needed. Stephanie made me more than aware of what I DESERVED and what I could GET, yet she allowed me to make the decision that I wanted to make. She got me what I wanted and needed and always made me feel special, which is also a huge help in a situation like this. I was a person to her--not just a number!!! I regret to this day that on July 16th, 2012 I retained Long Beach Law, Inc. to handle my personal injury case. I had an injury I sustained in a fall in a business in Long Beach in which I fractured my tibia and tore the meniscus in my right leg. I took the doctors findings as well as a disk with the MRI results with me so my attorney's would know the true extent of my injury. The doctors findings stated that the fracture caused edema to the bone marrow in the tibia and confirmed the torn meniscus. I underwent two surgeries in an attempt to repair the torn meniscus, but in my medical records it clearly stated that there was a concern for re-tear of the meniscus after my second surgery. I never read through all my medical records before because that was my attorney's job, isn't that what their hired for. Well it turns out the doctor was right, but there's more. I not only have a re-tear of the meniscus, but the bone marrow in the tibia bone of my right leg is slowly dying from the contusion caused by the fracture. I can only say Thank God I am a Veteran because there was no request for future medical bills and I have no other medical insurance. The VA agreed to a payment for the lien they had against my settlement and we won't go into the amount of that lien, but I can say a 5 day hospital with multiple CT's, MRI's, X ray's and two surgeries don't come cheap. Well I am back at the VA Hospital again for my injury and I get to look forward to 2 more surgeries. The first one is to drill out the dead bone marrow and feel the bone with cement, this has to be done before the second surgery can even be considered. If this first surgery works, then the second surgery will be a full knee replacement as being recommended by my doctor to alleviate the pain that I live with everyday and have been on pain medication for since the beginning. I am not so worried about the first surgery, it's the second one that concerns me. My doctor's says the recovery time is about 6 months because you have to learn to walk again. I forgot to mention I live in a 3 story house, so I will be putting it on the market prior to knee replacement because there is no way I will be able to move around it. I found the following information on Dr. Oz's Blog and it is exactly what my doctor is telling me now, you can find it too at the following link http://blog.doctoroz.com/oz-experts/keep-your-joints-healthy-and-recover-faster-after-injury: Knee Injury Getting an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) knee injury is just like having your knee age 30 years, according to one medical study. Other studies show that people with previous ACL injuries commonly develop arthritis of the knee as early as five years after their ACLs are repaired - which means that in addition to the immediate pain and disability caused by the injury, you're more likely to have arthritis down the road and you may require further surgery, such as a total knee replacement. What causes those problems? Weakness in the quadriceps, or the group of four large muscles at the front of the thigh, contributes to arthritis of the knee. So does surgery to the meniscus and other factors. I didn't do any research in the beginning, that's what attorney's get paid for. I only started researching my type of injury when I started having problems with my right leg again. It amazed me how much information was out there regarding what I could expect in the future because of my injury. Once again Thank God I am a Veteran because I would have to sell everything to pay for medical bills if I had to pay them. This review should in no way effect a decision in retaining the services of this law firm, It is only to express how I feel about the outcome of my injury case and the service I personally received. I am going to end my review because it just makes me more angry that I didn't retain the second law firm I consulted with when I wanted to drop Long Beach Law, Inc. from handling my case. read more
