So I was referred to Paul by a chiropractor I found on Yelp shortly after my insane car accident! He's been super patient with me, totally nice and really understanding about me freaking out throughout the process. Clearly he's met a lot of frantic clients like me & he kept his cool and calmed me down. Obviously, I'm not a lawyer but we all think we know a thing or two about law from watching tv shows, etc... but he gently explained that the things I tried to suggest we do was not how things work. lol! He worked really hard and fought hard for me. For BOTH car insurances! The idiot on the other side who t-boned us on Ocean Blvd, 2 years ago, had state bare minimum car insurance coverage and was clearly trying to cash in on some insurance money from me! (He definitely was speeding and didn't even slam the brakes!) Anyway, I had what my office required and it was enough to cover plenty but MY insurance guys were horrible! Don't get insurance from AAA. They SUCK! (They kept changing management or the person in charge of my case and was trying to give us the run-around and stall and make excuses but Paul got them to finally agree to a fair amount and it really helped me pay my bills as I was unable to work like I used to since the car accident in 2021.) My collarbone broke into 3 pieces!!! It's still in pain here and there and I didn't opt for a surgery because the Orthopedic Dr said I'd probably have to get another surgery after the initial surgery to take out the metal screws later... so My left arm & shoulders can't stretch or carry heavy stuff like it used to but I'm grateful Paul fought hard until we were awarded, got me the most he could from the horrible car insurances and put up with my frantic texts and emails and calls. Call Paul! He's got your back! Thank you for your hard work & patience! I hope I don't ever have to call you again...but if I do, I have your number! lol! read more

By far, the best decision I made after my accident was calling Paul Overett! He was easy to talk to, didn't fluff me with a bunch of nonsense, and more then came through on everything he said he would! He was professional, and not only kept me in the loop as to what was going on, but also laid out my options, and asked how I wanted to proceed. There was no pressure, and when I did tell him what I wanted, he was able to get it done quickly, with many different option that I was able to choose from to suit me best! The absolute best part is he was able to get more then double what other attorneys said my "case was worth," and once the case was settled, I had cash in my hand a week later... I hope I never get in another accident like that, but if I do, I know who the first person is that I'm calling! Thanks for everything Paul read more

I've had enough bad luck to be involved in two not at fault accidents over the past 5 years. I contacted Paul after finding him online. I was super nervous and very unsure of the process. Paul met with me on a Saturday and cleared up much of my worries. He made sure I got the help I needed. I was able to reach out to him via email and text when I had questions. I was very happy with the settlement I received. When the second accident happened I knew there wouldn't be any other team I'd prefer to help me deal with the insurance company. Paul referred me to a great chiropractor. I was very surprised and happy with my settlement this time around. I recommend Paul to all of my family and friends. read more

Paul was great!! Professional yet down to earth. I trust him and he did a great job with my case. Thank you!!

I'm pretty easy going so I was just fine handling my case on my own but the insurance company was being completely unfair. I've known Paul for about ten years and he's genuinely a nice guy, but also as it turns out, a really good personal injury lawyer. I had no idea how complex auto accidents can be so I'm super glad that I had Paul handle it for me. We got a really good settlement and Paul handled everything so I didn't have to stress. read more

I would definitely recommend Paul to others but I hope I will never need to use him again. Paul handled my accident claim against an insurance company that didn't want to pay. I was rear-ended on a major freeway and required a number of treatments over two years. Paul understood the process and was able to answer all my questions along the way. When it was finally time to play hardball Paul aggressively took on the insurance company and negotiated a fair settlement. Paul is very professional and a genuinely nice guy. 5 of 5 STARS!!!! read more

Paul is incredible. He not only rescued me from another attorney who was totally messing up my case, but eased my fears about attorneys in general. He was always available for me when I needed him. Keep in mind that personal injury lawyers don't work per hour, so to get this kind of attention was really amazing and made me feel properly taken care of. We worked together to get a settlement FAR surpassing my expectations. He is trustworthy, straight, and has really fantastic personal energy. Clearly, I can't say enough good things about Paul. I really have no complaints. He happens to also be pretty handsome and charming, which I have to say I didn't mind at all either. read more

As a sports chiropractor here in Long Beach I am often in communication with law firms for consulting and/or treatment of clients/patients involved in motor vehicle accidents. Think of Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Nitschke hitting you blindsided at full speed. That is how it feels to be in a car accident and Paul gets it. Unfortunately, many times your insurance adjuster doesn't. I find that the Overett Group is outstanding to work with and run their business in a way that lets your health care specialists do our jobs. Every client receives ample attention no matter how big or small the damages/injuries. You can't go wrong with Paul, give him a call! read more

I've had the pleasure of knowing Paul Overett for a number of years, so when I was injured in an accident in 2017 I knew I could trust no one else more than him. His open and honest interactions about the process and timing of my case were greatly appreciated because I had no idea what to expect. He was able to guide me through the process like a Himalayan sherpa. He answered all of my questions quickly and made himself readily available any time I had more questions. He's personable, articulate, and charming. His staff was friendly and professional. I'll certainly be going to him with my future legal needs (prenup here we come), but honestly I hope I don't have to use him for any other personal injury matters. Knock on wood. read more

After being injured from a car accident, I decided to do some research and find a lawyer that would assist me on my case. I met with many lawyers prior to Paul and soon became discouraged due to their bad attitudes and unwillingness to assist in my case. Paul was referred to me by my doctor and after my initial meeting with him, I finally felt as if someone was willing to listen and assist me in fighting my case. Paul was very insightful and referred me to an excellent place to do physical therapy. Throughout the 8 month process, he made sure to check up on me and keep me up to date with the status of my case. Not to mention, he always conversed with me in a positive, cheerful, and stress-free way. Although I experienced a tragic event, he definitely made the process more bearable. I will definitely continue to refer Paul to my friends, family, and colleagues. read more

After being injured by a reckless motorist, I decided to "attorney-up" and play it safe. I was nervous, had countless questions, did not know the process following the accident, etc. When I initially met Paul, I had a good feeling and he assured me a worry-free and easy process. He gave me clear answers during our consultation, was very knowledgeable about the conditions pertaining to the accident, did not pressure me to sign, and had a cool and relaxed personality, which made me feel at ease. I felt he would represent me well, so I chose him. Throughout our one-to-one correspondence, Paul was professional, thorough and our communication was fluid, i.e., I did not have to wait days or weeks to receive a response compared to a previous attorney I retained in a prior accident. He was extremely quick to resolve my property damage claim and was relentless to receive an acceptable offer from a unfair and stingy car insurance company, which he did. He even followed up with me once the entire claim was closed, making sure that I was okay and to see how I was doing. I believe that I made a great choice in choosing Paul Overett as my attorney. I highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking genuinely good representation. I would definitely call Paul again if I am ever in need! ,Efrain read more

Paul Overett was an amazing attorney for our case. We had interviewed a lot of personal injury attorneys to help with my sisters crippling injury by a doctor. Paul and his team arranged everything for her, including therapy during and after the case.
