Professional, compassionate and always explained each step of the process. I highly recommend Casey and Roee for legal representation.

I had the privilege of working with Keystone Law Group for five years, and I'm incredibly grateful for the experience. Throughout that time, I consistently felt that I was working with a firm that truly cared about its clients. Keystone Law Group took pride in providing thoughtful, professional, and dependable legal support regarding administration of my family's trust/estate. I would especially like to recognize Attorney Casey Reagan. Casey was exceptional--knowledgeable, responsive, compassionate, and genuinely committed to helping me navigate my family's' trust/estate with confidence. Casey took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure I felt supported throughout the process. He displayed commitment from start to finish. That level of personal attention made a meaningful difference to me. read more

We do not recommend this law firm. After 3yr and 6 months and close to $190,000.00 we finally closed our case. We never went to trial. One of the heads of the firm called us to thank us and they charged us for that also. read more

I would not hire keyston law because they lie straight out of the barrel all they wanna do is collect money and destroy your representation. They don't wanna assist you and Really or fight for needs. Keystone Law group has been calling me For months wasting my time and they won't even represent me while the receptionist is completely rude. And she went to say oh we're gonna bill you if we meet with you again I said you don't even wanna take the case. I was going to email you the information and she started yelling at me so I would not ever hire this firm. I think the small mom and pop law firms represent individuals better and fight for our needs. Keystone Law firm just wants to collect money from you steal your wealth and leave you hurting. read more

Keystone Law Group - Wills, Trusts, & Probates Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I am writing this review to warn both new and current clients about the highly questionable and unconscionable billing practices of Keystone Law Group. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. Over a 40-month period, I was charged an astronomical $796,292 in legal fees, despite absolutely no results being achieved. To make matters worse, the only significant action taken was a single deposition. Additionally, when I was trying to settle my balance at Fee Arbitration, they added an additional $50,000 of "hard costs" and I had to argue with them that they had ALREADY included the hard costs in their monthly billing. They finally conceded that the hard costs had been billed but it sure didn't stop them from trying to get an additional $50,000 in double billing! The first year alone $250,000 was billed, which included Petitions filed and some discovery work. However, once the one-year mark hit, all forward progress in the case ceased entirely. For the remaining 28 months, the firm did nothing but drag out the process, contributing to an appalling increase in billing - yet no tangible results. This law firm utilized a team of 21 attorneys on my case. They engaged in double and triple billing practices, adding up costs for the same work over and over. This firm clearly operates on an exploitative model, designed to maximize fees while offering no meaningful advancement in the case. Their approach focused entirely on delaying and stretching the case out, with no regard for delivering results. The entire experience was an attempt to drain every penny of my inheritance without any conscience or empathy for the emotional and financial toll it took on me. If you're seeking competent, ethical legal assistance, stay far away from this firm. I strongly urge others to consider all options before choosing this firm. Protect your inheritance from Keystone Law Group, they care more about their bottom line than your well-being. And just to add insult to injury, if you read the "responses from the owner" (Sean Kerendian), they claim not to recognize any of the people who leave one star reviews. My full name is on this review, you can Google and find me and I will be happy to confirm and/or answer any questions you may have about my experiences. read more

they simply kept on emailing me and asking if they could help but I replied and told them I had already gotten an attorney. I kept getting messages for several weeks. I think they simply are a huge business and need customers. read more

I can't thank Keystone Law Group enough, especially Jenna Schneider and Nicole Silverstein! I worked with them for about 3 years on my probate case, and they were amazing every step of the way. They were super knowledgeable, organized, and always made sure to answer every question I had. They put in so much effort and made me feel like my case truly mattered. I was really stressed about this for years, but Jenna, Nicole & the whole team came through and delivered exactly the outcome I was hoping for. I'm honestly so happy with the results. I'm very grateful to be able to work with them for so long and achieved this life changing outcome. This team is hands down the best!! I'm honored and appreciate having their team to represent me. I highly recommend Keystone for any probate litigation needs. I had a family member who needed a firm who would have everything under one roof. They asked me to help them find an attorney. I researched the super lawyers in LA. Keystone has experts in all facets of any family drama, real estate experts, conservatorship, and litigation experts. After vetting them, it was clear there was no one else to research. Keystone is rated as one of the top lawyers for anything trust or probate by their peers. I also read their newsletters to see what type of cases they have represented https://keystone-law.com/newsletters. When you first call in you will be routed to one of the principal attorneys who will hear the main issues. After the retainer, know that you will be in good hands. Highly recommend. read more

We are so delighted with Keystone. Our team worked hard to bring our case to a close. Our attorney was the amazing Jeff Oberto. He stayed in close communication and advised us every step of this daunting case. His expertise, technique, and strategy throughout this action was highly valued and appreciated. He made the exact decisions at the precise times and was able to dispose of this matter via Motion for Summary Judgment. Woohoo! Congratulations! Way to go Jeff! You are our hero! We definitely will turn to you if we ever need council in the future. You are wise beyond your years and we can't thank you enough for your representation. We will recommend you evermore. read more

Zero stars for this Law Firm! They literally stole $5000+ from my wife to represent her in a Probate Law suit! They asked for $10k retainer fee, then billed her for reviewing the case $800+ per hour. They never went to court or never filed or answered any paperwork from the opposing counsel. I am very upset these dirt bags robbed us! They billed us close to $950 per hour for 6 hours of supposed work. Buyer beware or get robbed. I would run! Btw they sound like they will fight your case and win, once they have your money it's a different story! Going to contact BBB and State Bar and other entities. read more

I worked with Jeffrey Oberto for over a year, and we were so grateful to finally walk away with a good settlement without having to go to trial! I chose Keystone Law Group based on it's reviews and my initial consultation, so hopefully my story will help you make this difficult decision. I was looking for a good attorney who could help both myself and my daughter win back our portion of my father's estate. Someone who would fight for us against a horrible con-artist, who came to America and ingratiated her way into my father's life - destroying his 50 year marriage and breaking up our family. Slowly isolating and manipulating a sick man into giving her, her family and her friends anything they wanted...forcing him to financially cut off his own family and eventually coercing him into changing his will, leaving everything to her. 40 years his junior, this case reeked of injustice and everyone could clearly see how she used him. The obvious control she had over his life and his finances made this case seem like a slam dunk - to friends and family and anyone else who heard this story! Unfortunately, I soon learned that when it comes to the law, it's not just about what's right and what's wrong, it's about what you can tangibly prove. She was extremely careful, which meant there was very little evidence to back up what everyone knew to be true. As time went on, we began to worry more and more that she would walk away with everything he had ever worked for. Jeffrey kept fighting for us. He understood that my daughter and I have significant medical issues and he truly cared about our well-being. He answered every email and phone call immediately. For an entire year he waded through my emails - filled with every correspondence I could find and what I believed to be solid proof of her wrongdoing - only to be told it wasn't legally substantial. He was able to create a decent case for us. When we finally made it to mediation, he insured we had an excellent judge and refused to be intimidated or discouraged. He made sure we walked away with a decent settlement and some security for my daughter's future. If your case is complicated, as ours was, this is a difficult process. You want to be sure your attorney is doing everything he/she can to help you and that they truly care about what happens to you. That is what we found here and we are very thankful. read more

AWFUL law group. Just had a consultation where the person was arguing with me. Clearly they just want your money and a lot of it.

My husband and I recently had a consultation with Keystone Law Group and Roee was the attorney we spoke with. He was professional and patient allowing us to address our questions and hearing out our concerns. We were grateful to have spoken with Roee because he shed light on our case and told us what our options were so that we could proceed forward. I highly recommend Keystone Law Group for resolving an extremely challenging probate litigation. Though any lawsuit is a raging uphill battle, my case was made a great deal easier by the compassion, support, understanding and work ethic of Shawn Kerendian and the Keystone Law Group staff. After calling around several firms,Lindsey was one of three attorneys I considered moving forward with. I appreciated Lindsey's attentiveness and the fact that she does not waste time! Lindsey reviewed my case before my free consultation and was ready to answer any questions. Thanks again! read more

Called for an initial conversation. The attorney I spoke with was one I was speaking to on about a probate matter. I could feel the impatience on her end. Seemed she was anxious to get to the subject of the retainer fee. That about bottom lined the short sort of conversation. I get it. We need to get paid. But I explained I was on a fixed income. And probate attorneys get paid on the back end. People should really be interested in helping you and the rest will come. read more

100% this is the firm you should hire for probate litigation. In our financial elder abuse case they helped us completely stop the damage a family member was doing to my father-in-law's trust. I had done a bit of my own research and scouted around 10 separate probate groups before finding Keystone.. Very happy I went with Shawn Kerendian and his firm. Professional, responsive, vigilant, understanding, knowledgeable and experienced are just a few words I would highlight to describe my overall yearlong experience there. I was very up front with my needs and expectations because of complications in my case and family. It was handled well. Above all, Roee made it extremely easy-- smooth sailing. I felt secure and all of my questions were met with quick, detailed and overly adequate responses. Planned and precise. Above and beyond. I gave him my full control and confidence. Happy with the outcome and glad to have gotten a great deal of my own experience while going through all of this.. Absolute professionals. Clear, prompt, diligent, candid. I dealt with Shawn and Roee and found them both to be 5 Star people. Many thanks.

Excellent work on a sticky trust contest.

Got a bunch of money back too, when I threatened to report them to the bar. That says a LOT. ALWAYS RECORD YOUR CALLS, FOLKS. I warned them I was going to be doing that and they put their whole leg in their mouths. Apparently, this poor guy doesn't have a CLUE how to settle an estate, although I was as patient as I could be, knowing that he's fairly NEW to this sort of thing, & I TRIED to cut him some slack, but it cost me dearly. I also found him to be rather insulting & elitist during a very difficult time. I certainly was NOT ADVISED as to any OPTIONS(that I kept bringing up) with the exception of sellsellsell it(cheap) to the other trustee, them trying to jump on the gravy-train for an immediate settlement payoff(there was no contest of distribution, which was all they wanted to 'handle;' - something that was already DONE, lol); whatever the other side wanted -was what they tried to get me to co-operate with. Me last. Additionally, he had to "confer" with his "boss" at every. single. step., more than doubling my "bill' because HE didn't know what he was doing! They charged me for both Shawn Kerendian's time AND Roee's LEARNING CURVE! Over and over and over! & over and over a few more times! When you throw a bunch of money at people who profess to be "professional" and to have the ACUMEN to handle your case(yet can't manage their office effectively) and find yourself having to re-align your "attorney" with state statutes & your RIGHTS, then they get mad when you NAIL them down & then resort to a blatant lie to avoid even ATTEMPTING to complete the task you THOUGHT you hired them for(a simple petition for a trust accounting), stating that the trustee had NO obligation to provide an accounting(something that my statement contradicts in black and white: 17200. (a) Except as provided in Section 15800, a trustee or beneficiary of a trust may petition the court under this chapter concerning the internal affairs of the trust or to determine the existence of the trust.), it's WAY past time to FIRE them. Kept trying to get me to hand over my interests to my opposition instead of PROTECTING them! They TALK a LOT, impart nothing, try to keep you on the phone with manipulative vacillating entreaties solely designed to charge you(double), trying to keep you from FIRING THEM(for at least the THIRD time). That was in THEIR interest, MOST definitely not mine, and they STILL CHARGED ME FOR IT(first tried to convince me that my sibs "could be sued" for their share of expenses if they profited- later it was that the trust documents were too vague to look into the administration of the trust at all... contradictory language and behaviors throughout. WHILE they had NO INTENTION of DOING anything that would garner expense returns from my sibs, ANYWAY). They won't LET you dismiss their services until they blow through your retainer, at LEAST. Blew through 5K in less than a month(and made a grab at my estate), and when that was gone, his $50 an hr phone calls, messages and zero-information emails(sending me my own statements that I sent THEM & CHARGING ME FOR THEM) ceased, and finally- he could allow the secretary to call me at a MUCH lower rate to leave a message requesting a call, lol! I said, "Fine, as long as you understand that i'll be recording it." THAT is what got me my MONEY BACK. Hiring this firm was the worst financial decision I've made on this journey. In the end, they admitted that the Bank of the West(suspected complicit co-trustee with suspicious unproven/unfounded expenses) was just too big for them to take on. Well, THAT certainly cut our ties. But they wouldn't admit to it until they'd BLED ME as far as they could take it. I found them to be completely ineffectual, deliberately misleading, & regard them as your typical wholly fundamentally dishonest lawyers. I would HIGHLY advise against doing(trying to do) business here. read more

When my Mom passed away, I unexpectedly had issues with my sibling regarding my Mother's Trust. I was referred to Keystone Law Group and I'm so glad I was. First off, Keystone is a very well run and efficient company. Everyone you work with is smart, professional and nice. Response time was always quick and efficient. My lawyer, Monica was incredibly smart, organized and easy to talk to about my concerns. This was my first time working with a lawyer and the situation was a new experience for me, not to mention emotional. However, working with Monica, I felt I had someone on my side fighting for me and my rights. Monica's Petition covered all the major points of my case and intelligently supported my claims against my sibling. Throughout the process, Monica always communicated all options for me along with recommendations for resolution. Her customer service was excellent and she was always available to talk and answer any questions. Monica is quite simply an excellent lawyer! I highly recommend Monica and Keystone Law Group.
