I was in the market for a used car and I went to Tinkham Auto Sales first. I was very unhappy with the service I received, especially when the salesman didn't believe me when I said the transmission was going on a car I test drove. I went further down the road and found Stargate Auto Sales. They had a very wide selection of cars and I felt overwhelmed when I arrived. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the smiling face of Brandi, who was the saleswoman there. She immediately asked what I was in the market for and I gave her all of my specifications. She quickly pulled up all of the options for me and we went out to look at them. I went for a test drive and immediately fell in love with my first option. They did a few things extra for me to ensure the car was in tip top shape for my 7 month old daughter and I. I was then approved for a loan very promptly, even though I didn't really have any credit. I drove away in my new car that same day, when I walked in the door at 2 pm. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the market for a new car, be sure to ask for Brandi. :-) read more

THIS IS THE BEST USED LOT IN LAVERGNE, TN!!!! From the first moment I stepped on the lot, Brandi was "THE BEST" saleswoman who was very knowledgeable about all the cars, prices, and owner information. She made my entire process seemless and smooth. She told me everything that I needed up front and worked with my work schedule. The best things I liked about Brandi was her speedy timeframe of getting my loan approved, paper work was efficient & ready when I arrived. She has a great personality and go beyond to make sure your car buying experience wonderful. I would recommend this lot to anyone who is in the used car market. We bought a used VW Bug from Stargate and they were wonderful! We were coming from out of state and did a lot of negotiating and discussing over the phone. They were very helpful and made sure the car was what we wanted before we made the trip to see them, even suggesting we get an estimate for our trade-in at their Madison location (fantastic to work with as well). They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and continued to help even after our purchase when we required some extra paperwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. They will be the first I recommend to anyone looking for a used car! read more

Had the best first time buying experience here at Stargate Auto! Brandi was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure I was able to get the car I wanted as well as making sure everything was running fine and taken care of before she sent me home. Being that I am a first car buyer she made sure to tell me what I need to do to maintain the car (which I really appreciated). I went to a few dealerships before picking my car and she truly made me feel like she had my best interest at heart rather than just trying to make a quick sell. Long story short Brandi and the staff at Stargate Auto are AMAZING!! read more

I was looking for an Xterra and stumbled across one from this dealership on Craigslist. It had high miles but, I knew that's the way it would be with my budget. It looked super nice, almost too nice. I went to look at it and drive it, and bought it that day. Brandi was very helpful and gave me a fair deal. They offered a 3 month third party warranty which is really cool and valuable. I definitely paid more for this truck than I would've from a private seller but, so far has been worth it! Also, I got permanent plates the same day I purchased so that's a MAJOR plus for me. No DMV or waiting. read more

Amazing selection. Best pre owned vehicles in the area. After sitting and wasting most of my day at a traditional car lot Brandi helped me get financed and everything set up within an hour. Got my payments exactly what I wanted and even got an amazing warranty built into my payment thru the lender. Very at home personal atmosphere, very welcoming. She def went above and beyond to make this a great experience and I will def be a returning customer. If you in the market for a pre owned vehicle at an amazing price with low miles in great condition, you def need to visit stargate!! read more

Stargate Auto is a great place to buy a car! All of the cars on their lot have clean titles and they have a good variety of vehicles. I never felt pressured to make a purchase while I was shopping there. They let you test drive any car you want without going with you so you don't feel pressured while you're driving it. I highly recommend shopping and buying from them! read more

Purchased a '01 Ford Ranger in excellent shape. Lot had good selection for the size. The service was very kind, with great follow through and communication. That is very important. After it was all said and done, they gave me a fair price on a vehicle hard to find in this shape. A small business I am happy to have done business with. read more
