Avoid this dealer. We bought a 2013 Toyota Camry here for a family member and the experience was a nightmare from start to finish.
Within 48 hours of taking the car home, the check engine light came on. We took it to a Toyota dealership for a proper diagnosis. Their pressure test and coolant flush confirmed a failing head gasket, which is a several thousand dollar repair on a car we had just paid full asking price for. There was visible bubbling in the coolant during the flush, a textbook sign of head gasket failure that does not happen overnight. This was an existing condition at the time of sale.
What made it worse is what we believe happened before the sale. The car had clear misfire symptoms that Dream Autos addressed by clearing codes and swapping spark plugs and coils. On a 2.5L 2AR-FE engine, those misfire symptoms are commonly caused by coolant intrusion from a leaking head gasket. A spark plug swap on that kind of misfire is a band aid that hides the real problem just long enough to get the car off the lot.
When we contacted them after the diagnosis, there was no accountability. No offer to make it right, no commitment to repair or refund. Just an offer to have their own mechanic look at it, which felt like a stall tactic to wear us down. Only after sustained pressure, written demands, documented Toyota diagnostics, and the threat of regulatory complaints did they finally do anything.
If you are considering buying from Dream Autos, take the car to an independent mechanic for a full pre purchase inspection before signing anything. If they refuse, walk away. We did not, and we paid for that mistake with months of stress, repeated repair trips, time off work, and a vehicle our father in law was scared to drive.
