I'll admit, I was a little disappointed and unsure of what to expect. Lance completely changed my perspective. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure everything was handled smoothly. He genuinely cared about providing a great customer experience, and it showed. One positive experience doesn't erase the past, but it absolutely deserves to be recognized. Lance turned what I expected to be another stressful visit into a genuinely pleasant one. When my lease is up, I am turning my Porsche and never looking back because of these people. They know the service is terrible but they will offer you 10% off if you post a good review about them because otherwise they would have all one star reviews. Anyone who has to pay you to post a review is doing it, knowing that their service is awful. They are a disgrace and the owner should be ashamed at how poor customers get treated. I used to work in the auto business and service is where you make pretty much all your money. The people working there know they are the only game in town and they do everything but cuss you out. I began my search by emailing the Pre-Owned Vehicle Manager Josh Epley about a vehicle that i was interested in. Josh promptly responded back to me, confirming the vehicles availability. I let Josh know that I was not somebody that enjoyed dealership shopping and I'm not a huge people person.. He assured me that he would team me with the perfect salesperson. That salesperson was John Yount. John is very eady going and no pressure. I test drove the car and John answered every question I had. He is very knowledgeable about the brand. Upon returning to the dealership, we negotiated the price and made the sale happen. That process was pain painless. I can honestly say I have never had a more pleasurable and positive, no pressure car purchasing experience. I dealt with Kevin in finance, and that process was painless and quick. I would say that Mercedes Benz of Nashville sets the bar. The vehicle selection is great, prices are very fair, customer service is stellar. I took advantage of picking up a few things from the parts department while I was there and received the same great service there from the parts manager, Dwayne. I was given information that was not consistent with their actions, and I felt that transparency and honestly are lacking throughout the process. When I raised my concerns, I did not feel that they were taken seriously or that the dealership made genuine effort to resolve the situation. The gentleman repeated the dealership has had a change in leadership since my lease started. Customers should be able to trust what they are told when making a significant purchase, and I did not feel that trust was respected during my experience. The way this situation was handled left me feeling that the dealership was more focused on the transaction than on treating the customer fairly. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here to ask detailed questions, get everything in writing, and carefully review all documentation before moving forward. This was not the level of customer service or professionalism I expected from a Mercedes-Benz dealership. This experience has tarnished my opinion of Mercedes and will cause me to leave this brand.
