To start off with, I would like to summarize by saying this car a lot will lie to you take your money and then hide behind their paperwork to not make right what they knew was already wrong
About a year ago now my girlfriend and I were looking for an SUV to take traveling as an extra vehicle. This vehicle is not to be driven except for trips across the country and to different states we then found a 2007 Toyota forerunner for sale on Zeke clot we woke up early one morning and drove down to Zeke's and a test drove the vehicle. It ran perfectly made no noises and I made sure to put it through its paces in Smyrna and on the interstate. We then left went home and talked about it overnight, which was a weekend and then that Monday hurried back up to Zeke's. Halfway there from Tullahoma, we called and found out that the vehicle had been sold. We left our information if anything else came on their lot and thought nothing of it three weeks later, we get a phone call from the dealership saying that the vehicle was not sold, and that it was in the back lot and that it had been misplaced and forgotten about and if we wanted to come buy it, we could this vehicle was almost $13,000 we put up almost $5000 earnest money signed paperwork and tried to drive it home from Zeke's on South Lowry to my house around rock Springs middle school on Sam Ridley the vehicle broke down less than 3 miles from the dealership. What came next was almost 2 to 3 months of our vehicle sitting in their lot waiting for parts. We then found out that the rear differential was completely blown, and there may be issues with the transmission not from Zeke's, but from Mr. transmission down the road after Zeke's told us there was nothing wrong with it. I called every day for a week and finally got a hold of Misty who sold us the vehicle and she said that they would replace it and that they were going to wait for the part over a month went by and we didn't get a single phone call eventually we decided to go pick it up and told them that we would replace it ourselves and that we expected to be reimbursed. I have most likely been blocked by the entire dealership and to this day have not heard anything back from them after they told me that the parts were being shipped upon taking my vehicle and getting everything replaced I was out almost $5000 on a vehicle that I just paid $13,000 on Mr. transmission has a contract with Zeke's and was very blunt about how often he sees their vehicles come in not from the dealership but from customers in my same situation, I will never do business with these people again I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and tell everyone I can to stay far away from their lot as they know they are selling broken and disabled vehicles for near retail costs and hiding behind their paperwork when it comes to making it right
Oh, and the lie about the vehicle being hidden on the back lot was just that a lie we found paperwork in the glove box from where they sold it to some Hispanic individual in Antioch, who obviously could not complete the transaction, but came possession of the vehicle and from what we can summarize of what we saw inside the vehicle and mechanically is that before it was repossessed, he absolutely destroyed it mechanically and with some of the small parts inside, and we know that it was sold because we found that paperwork in the glove box these people at Zeke's will lie to you to your face to take your money read more
