The owner and her friends were staring at us while my friend was in the fitting room trying items on (I looked back in her direction three times and every single time made eye contact with one of them staring at me), and when my friend left the fitting room, she accidentally turned the light off. Without hesitation, the owner snapped at her to leave the light on for the next customer. The whole time she didn't offer to help us at all, and when we tried to place the items we didn't want back on the rack, she immediately grabbed them from us. We said thank you to her for helping, and she didn't respond. Checking out was a similar experience. Even though we bought an item, will never come back. Microaggressions are real and leave a horrible impression on customers. It's not hard to do the bare minimum to be polite, and they missed the mark by a long shot.

I did however score a sweet Astro Boy tote bag from this store a few years ago, and I really love it. While I can't vouch for the full authenticity of this product, it has served me well throughout the years. Regardless, I rarely stop by this shop unless I find myself extremely bored in Chinatown.
