To those of you whom never set foot at a 5.11 store or don't know what it means, allow me to give…read moreyou some insight. The term 5.11 originated from the climbing/mountain world to indicate the highest rock climbing difficulty level. However, now there are even higher levels, 5.12, up to 5.14. This store has equipment, apparel and gear for the serious outdoors/adventure- rough-tuff, serious-bad ass person. Their products are primarily targeted for military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, firefighters or serious outdoor survivalists. I have purchased several items from 5.11 since its early inception due to my long years of service in the USMC from 1998 to 2007. Many of the gear I have from 5.11 have endured the test of time, combat and rough terrain. Today, I still purchased their products since they also have a wide choice of urban, city wear with unique and versatile use.

However, during my…read moremost recent visit today, I witnessed an interaction between a manager/supervisor and an employee that I found very unprofessional and uncomfortable. While I understand that workplace issues need to be addressed, the employee was repeatedly spoken to in a degrading manner and was ultimately told to "go over there and do your thing." This interaction took place openly in front of coworkers and customers, making it difficult not to hear. In my opinion, this type of feedback should be handled privately and respectfully. Employees deserve to be corrected without being embarrassed or humiliated in front of others. I hope management will take this feedback into consideration, as the interaction significantly affected my otherwise positive impression of the store.

I went during my lunch and luckily got there when no one else was there. Within 10 minutes had 2 suits, 3 pants, and 2 ties. Only one person working with a steady flow of customers coming in for new suits, weddings, and pickups. 5 stars for great customer service, solid prices, and quick tailoring. I thought I'd have to wait a few days or a week, but walked out with 2 suits. Gentlemen, look no further!

I needed a tuxedo that would fit in at an event filled with folks who live way above our tax…read morebracket. This event had literal royalty from several countries, several international celebrities, and a first degree relative of a former US president. Again, way above our tax bracket; the invitation was much more a reflection of happenstance than financial status, so, I needed an outfit that we could afford that would at least visually fit in with these people whose watches cost more than my car. I also needed this tuxedo quickly, with enough time to get it altered to fit my uncommon proportions. What I found at King Fashion was great inventory, along with service and value well beyond my hopes. I had researched and been to a number of stores and found none to come close in service and value. I was helped primarily by Monsef, his daughter, and also Denise. All three demonstrated amazing kindness and friendliness throughout the process. Monsef offered very sound advice about how to approach what I needed, without boxing me in to having to buy everything (or even anything) I needed from this store. He went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted with minimal delay when it turned out it wasn't in store. Alterations were done well and quickly. I love the tuxedo I wound up with, and I dare say it was one of the best ones at the event; it has some very unique details and high quality. The price was easily worth the extra stretch over renting, and was an incredible value. And of note, it wasn't just me getting great treatment. Every time someone stepped in the store, I saw that they were greeted with warmth and care. And every time I stepped into the store, they were busy, handling 2-3 customers each, keeping up conversations and consultations with each, and speed-walking around. It's the kind of mental and physical energy that really wears you down in customer service, yet they never missed a beat. they remained warm and kind and caring with everyone. Maintaining that kindness with that consistency speaks volumes, and then they offered a high-quality, high-value product to go with it. Care like that is rare these days. If you are in need of a suit of any kind, from business to wedding to fashion to formal, please give these folks your business. They deserve it.

I was disappointed and upset with my first experience. Arman contacted me and offered a full refund. I was taken back. No excuses he just said "I'm going to take care of you, don't worry. I'll give you full refund." No excuses, no sales tactics, just a call saying he's going to take care of me. Just wow. I ended up loosing the pants to the suit. Because how he handled all this, I was going to just go purchase another pants. But he ended up giving me a full refund anyway and told me to keep the top because I can still make an awesome wardrobe with it by pairing with different color bottom. He was right. I ended up buying a suit I wanted from him. I mean how can I go somewhere else at this point. Although it wasn't even an expensive suit that I purchased, he treated me like I was his VIP client. They say people don't remember what they say, they remember how someone made them feel, Arman made me feel like he REALLY cared. I haven't been this impressed by a business in awhile.
