This location just reopened recently so I thought it would be decent. I've actually never been there before and I won't be going back. Maybe it was because their drive-thru was backed way up because it was 4:30 in the afternoon, but apparently that means they have to rush through and pull Frappuccinos off the blender before they're done. My whole frapp was crunchy from the first sip and I had to wrestle with the last third of my drink that was all WHOLE ice cubes and unblended Java chips that clogged the straw. read more

I ordered this same drink today and when I was given the drink, it was barely blended, Ice was still in huge chunks, no strawberry puree was added, and she put barely any cold foam into my drink. If I am going to be paying this much for a drink, it should be made correctly. Stop letting your workers be lazy Starbucks. read more

The Starbucks in Waynesboro has improved a lot, they have a much broader selection of food items and always brewing some of the best coffee around. Of course, my only complaint is the prices at any of the Starbucks location but I will say they use the best ingredients and additives (so you are getting what you paid for).The one improvement or change is the parking lot design, very small. Ive gotten used to the Tomato & Mozzarella on Focaccia having very little mozzarella and three small slices of tomato that rarely covered two thirds of the sandwich. Today was the deal breaker. I needed hot water for an event for a child that was murdered an event for raising awareness about childhood abuse and wanted hot water to make hot cocoa for the kids since it would be a chilly evening Starbucks wants $20 for 8 cups of hot water. I have my own cups that doesn't matter $20 for hot water had to let the vet know there would not be any hot cocoa because we were not paying $60 for hot water, I have tons of cups and mugs and Christmas ornaments that will all be going into the trash. Pumpkin Spice Latte season!!!! When in the area I absolutely LOVE the staff here. They are so friendly, some even get really interactive with their guest! They are out of some items but almost all of the popular items are in stock! Mostly breakfast food is out of stock. This is probably one of the fastest Starbucks around this area. Usually this Starbucks has been fine-- been there a dozen times but a week ago I had a really unpleasant interaction with one of the employees who seemed very frantic and thought it appropriate to take out on me. I always make a point to be overly nice to service workers, as I'm also a barista with 6+ years of coffee experience. I would never treat customers the way she did-- it honestly stayed with me all day how condescending, snide and rude she was for no reason. :( read more

Typical Starbucks, they have a drive thru. It is very close to I-64 and has lots of travelers coming through (including myself). They have very clean bathrooms and great customer service which I would usually rank as 4 stars , but they also only offer about a half menu of food. When you are traveling and need coffee and a snack it doesn't usually work out that you get both. read more

I didn't figure this out until getting into the Starbucks store, but the friendly barista comped my drink, which was unexpected. Excellent customer service. It is Starbucks and usually beverages and food is finely tuned. They produce a delicious beverage each time no matter what we get and given how busy they seem to remain inside or the drive through that says a lot. Probably the dirtiest Starbucks I've been to. The bathroom was disgusting and had no toilet paper. Asked an employee to fill it, which he did. But didn't take the time to clean the filthy toilet with urine all over the seat. Now to the coffee. Ordered my usual, and iced coffee with soy. Every other Starbucks I've been to they take the time to mix it to ensure everything isn't settled at the bottom. This is most likely the grosses Starbucks in America. They've never once gotten my order right and on several occasions the drink they made was so gross no one would drink it. I've also been given food with hair on it more then once. The employees always try and make it right and are very sweet so I can only assume it's management and lack of training. read more

Got drip coffee here two mornings in a row and it was standard Starbucks quality. No complaints. I tried to order a french press of coffee the second morning and the barista had absolutely no clue what I was talking about, so I retreated back to just a cup of drip. The seating area was fairly busy and could have been a little cleaner. One really weird thing. There was a lady sitting in one of the corners of the room sipping on some type of frozen drink and reading. All of a sudden, she reaches into a lunch box sitting beside her, pulls out her personal can of whip cream, and tops off her drink. This happened several times while I was there. It's a stabucks on the way back to 81 from skyline drive. Sadly - i didn't get what i ordered, but didn't know until i was too far away to do anything bout it. Le Sigh. I hate paying extra for coconut milk and not getting it. Good thing i'm not alergic or latose intollerant. If you don't want to make a drink using weird milk, like soy or coconut, don't offer it. This Starbucks is always out of berries for the very berry refreshers and twice didn't tell me until I got to the window and charged me the same. The last week they told me they were out when I ordered so I did not complete the order same thing today but said they can make it without berries and it would look and taste different???? I ask today why they are out, he said it is a popular drink so I ask when they expect to receive product he said wasn't sure next couple of days. If you don't have the product take it off you menu. There's been one girl specifically who I've seen the most (unfortunately I wasn't able to catch her name but she has pink hair if it's any indication) and she has been AMAZING. I visited on 10/31/2012 and was the only person in line. I placed my order and then waited. And waited. And waited. A car at the drive-thru was served. A man ordering iced tea after us was served (not as simple as pouring a simple cup of coffee). Another car at the breakthrough was served. A third order from the drive-thru was taken. Finally I was noticed. "Did you place your order?" "Yes." "What was it?" "Frappuccino and a sweet roll." "Cinnamon roll or morning bun?" " Cinnamon roll." Shortly after that the person in charge came over. "Did you pay?" "Yes, you waited on me." Then she pulled a bit of receipt tape from the register and said, "You didn't pay for the cinnamon roll." "Then you didn't charge me," I said. "Do you want one?" "No." "I can ring you up." "No, I'm tired of waiting." At that point I just wanted out with the as-yet-undelivered Frapp. But I did get to hear their excuses. "We're down to only one bar. And iced teas come first. etc." I didn't care. Twenty minutes to get one drink in an otherwise empty store. No evidence of apologies, personal responsibility or interest in my return. At least the restroom was clean. My family and I have been frequenting this Starbucks store since its opening. Although, the past 3 visits have been less than satisfactory. Most especially the attitude of the employees. Where has that welcoming, smiling, warm spirit gone? Cleanliness, convenience , employee attitudes has plummeted. I called the manager and she was too busy to talk to this loyal customer. I came through the drive thru around 8:30 on February 10th and was absolutely blown away. The friendliness of the staff was enough to warrant 5 stars on its own. The man who took my order was so polite and funny (first time to a Starbucks so I didn't know any of the sizes) it really made my rough morning better. The lady at the window (Cheryl, I believe) was very nice as well. They were accurate and prompt. I tried the new Frappuccino and it was delicious! I love the chocolatey bits in it.
