Plus that weekly specials board. Everything we had was excellent and we absolutely be coming back.

Falafel was also really good. I had both on top of my rice with white sauce and the combination was perfect. Salad was really fresh no bad veggies or weepy greens. Came with dressing. Pita was a little too black for me but nevertheless I didn't really mind because it was good. The hummus is different from the hummus in used to eating/making but I didn't mind it at all! The service was also really great, the lady working (who gave me my food) was very nice and made small talk with me. Not a sit down, place only take out, but inside looks really cool. I would definitely recommend this place 9/10!!!

After ordering I realized I didn't ask for the sauce on the side, I was beyond impressed by the presentation when it arrived as all the sauces were on the side as well as the chicken so that my salad didn't get soggy. Everything was neatly packed. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and seasoned but not too salty. The salad was beautiful fresh spring mix blend, and it came with a homemade lemony vinaigrette. I got a side of falafel and they were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The humus was actually better than mine and I'm Middle Eastern. It came with warm pita bread that had a light char on it and really added a depth of flavor. My only regret is I didn't order one for leftovers tomorrow! Good portions for the price. if you're checking out reviews because you're skeptical like me give them a try you definitely won't be disappointed!

A new day, a new coffee place to start a morning…read more I've actually been sitting on this review since August 8th, and originally, I was going to wait for another visit before I gave this a proper review. However, the more time I have actually had to sit with my thoughts of it, the more I realized I could just write one now and possibly update it later. So here we are at Cheshire Coffee, a coffee spot that sits oddly enough on the Waterbury side of the town line with Cheshire. Seriously, this place I don't even have to go outside my city limits for, and it is, notably enough in between the same two exits on I-84 as Blackie's is across the line. Much like The Loaded Goat Coffee Company in Naugatuck, this place is very inviting, cozy, with great coffees and excellent customer service. This visit involved an asiago bagel toasted with cream cheese, a beef chimichurri sandwich that the baristas panini-pressed for me, and a Churro Latte. All 3 of these things were good to great. Really, this review is mainly a 4-star review in the way that a place I don't have much of an impression on would get 4 stars. I would need to come back for more things to decide whether or not a 5th star would be warranted. But the interior helps makes a strong case for that star. I was most impressed with the poem on display as I was waiting for my coffee. It's not a detail I've shared yet here on Yelp, but this visit 's prompt me to say this now. So fun fact about me is that once upon a time, I wrote poetry. Late sophomore year of high school and going for a few years after and starting in 2007, I wrote poems any time I felt inspired to do so. I once attended a poetry slam that was held by my high school later in 2007 when I was in the first half of my junior year, and boy was that a great experience! Seeing the poem on display, I am really starting to think about getting back into writing poetry. I just need to find a muse and inspirations. This is honestly a great coffee option if I want to start traveling anywhere eastbound towards Hartford and such. I would totally come back in a situation that allows for it and try some other items.
