As a regular Starbucks customer I am at a store almost daily. This was the dirtiest store I have ever been in in my 40 years on this planet. They had trash and gunk all over the floor where the employees were working. To top it off I placed a straw wrapper into the trash can that was sitting near the edge of the counter when one employee who said her name was Nicki Perez scolded me like a child and yelled oh no you can't do that. I told her it was just a straw wrapper and she said no this is not for customers. She had a grin on her face the entire time like she enjoyed being nasty to people. This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. They were out of all food AND the drink I wanted. My 2nd choice drink (cold brew + cold foam) was sloppily made and wayyyy too sweet. I imagine they gave me the vanilla sweet cream cold brew with syrup instead of just the foam like I ordered. What was I thinking, stopped by after my trip to Florida and what a nightmare, waited 20 minutes, NOT JOKING, for my two coffees. For the freaking price you should receive a much better return on service. The servers were helping the drive thru much faster than the inside patrons. I saw the truck drive in after I ordered my coffee and then watched him pull through with 5 vehicles in front of him. Extremely poor service and if this is happening on a Saturday evening at 6:30 pm I can't imagine what they are like on a Sunday or Saturday morning. This is one place I will avoid in the future. We pulled off the interstate to get drinks here got all our kids out of the car and walked up to the door where there was a sign that said "drive thru only, no entrance" big waste of our time as the drive thru was forever long. If you go here make sure you call ahead if you need to use the restrooms. read more

Was happy to see a Starbucks on I95 in SC finally. However, alas, it must he very new and they are unfamiliar with how to prepare products. The chocolate cake pop could barely stay on the stick. This place dies not hold up to the standards you'd expect of a Starbucks. They are often out of cold brew and other drinks. They are not friendly and always make you feel like a burden for being there. Staff simply does not care which is evident in the dirty tables, gross bathrooms, and empty stock shelves. The cafe has even been closed during normal operating hours forcing us to wait in long drive thru lines since we'd already placed Mobil order. & then they didn't even have drinks ready after waiting in drive thru for 20min. Finally tried my local Starbucks and it didn't disappoint! I ordered through the app, so waiting in line was okay. I obviously couldn't go inside (thanks COVID), but the wait wasn't long at all. This was at 8 AM, so they were PACKED! I maybe sat there for 15 minutes. Service was great too. Everyone was really nice! Even had an old high school classmate leave me the cutest note on my drink! Speaking of drink-- I ordered a venti iced matcha green tea latte with 2 shots of espresso. One word: perfect! It was so good!! Had to repeat my order 3 Xs because the girl was more interested in how great my day was and where I was going. had to use a card machine in the dark at the drive thru with no way to see it. I believe the employees are probably doing their best but this experience was one of my worst at Starbucks. The food items I ordered (even the ones that aren't warmed) were all soggy to the point of being wet and disintegrating. My drink (a matcha) was pretty much just a cup of milk. They obviously either skimped on or were running out of matcha. The bathrooms were a wreck and unhygienic. Overall, it took us 30 min and multiple times of them asking what we were still waiting on before we got all our items, which had apparently been ready this whole time and just being kept behind the counter. The employees were nice enough, but the Starbucks obviously isn't managed well and/or gets too much business for its limited resources. This was truly not worth the $40 I spent. read more

Coming into the Starbucks a lady warning us that the wait was long. We are coming up from Florida hoping to have a nice small breakfast, and needing to use the restroom. Waiting in the line for 15 min to order and not getting that order until one hour after, what a waste of time and money, the drinks weren't even high quality, they were messing up people's orders and when they realize they made that mistake they threw it away, when they could've offered it to someone, such a waste. This is my local Starbucks, and while I was so excited we finally got one 2 years ago... it's been nothing but trash. They are horrifically slow, even before the pandemic... I once waited 45 minutes for my coffee while sitting inside catching up with a friend from out of town. They've gotten upset before because they made my hot drink iced twice, and I kept asking for the hot drink I ordered... iced wouldn't be a big deal if I drank iced coffee, but I don't. The manager had a screaming match with my coworker over the phone a while back, bc they couldn't answer me over whether her order was complete when I arrived for pickup. I love coffee, and I've been a fan of Starbucks for so many years... but I see why they struggled to decide on coming here. These folks don't want to work and have nasty attitudes. The location will thrive because it's the only one between Savannah and Florence on I-95. For those of us locals, Dunkin and McD are just as bad... so we have no choice if we want coffee in town. They do ok when the order ahead is cut on in the app and I can just run in for my coffee... but they like to cut off order ahead at this location. A lot. Corporate says they can do that bc of "staffing issues." Lolol staffing issues is the understatement of the century. Wow, it's been a long time since I've been to a Starbucks that was this bad. The bathroom was a complete disaster. There were at least 5 people behind bar and we still had to wait so long for our drinks. They forgot to give us our food as well which had been sitting on the counter and didn't give it to us till we said something. The drinks were not made correctly either. This was the worst Starbucks. We stopped to get a latte and a Frappuccino. We were there for over half an hour waiting on two drinks. Then she messed up the Frappuccino and got mad at us when we asked her to do it correctly. We stood there for another 10 minutes and she never remade the drink. We asked if we could just take the wrong one and go and she gave us an exasperated response and through her hands in the air and quickly remade the wrong drink again to shove at us. Stopped with my family on my way home from the beach, just wanting a refresher. From the beginning none of the employees were friendly, but we placed our orders anyway-nothing special just 2 grande citrus white tea peach refreshers. After waiting awhile, the barista snippily asked "who ordered the peach refreshers?!" I told her I had then she said "were out, they're probably discontinuing that! What do you want??" I told her she could do pineapple instead of peach. Orders were consistently wrong, and the baristas had attitude with most customers. My wife's iced tea had to be remade 3 times, and she ordered a simple item off the menu so it should have been easy.
