Not my favorite Starbucks, but it does the job. Their oatmilk tastes like water. I can't always taste the vanilla syrup in my iced caramel macchiatos, so it isn't as sweet as you'd expect. Nice store. Okay coffee. read more

This was my go to Sbux this week while on work travel. Stayed at the adjoining Westin so this was very convenient. It was often packed so I usually placed my order ahead of time to avoid waiting. The service is good here. One day I tried the new pineapple refresher but wasn't impressed with it. I'll stick to dragonfruit as far as refreshers. read more

This is a busy location right by the harbor. I saw a customer rolling their eyes at an employee and having to tell the employee over and over again how to make their drink. That should have been a sign that this was going to be a bad experience. The same employee was chatting it up with another employee who came in on their day off while customers are just standing there waiting for their drinks. The off work employee pointed out to the employees behind the counter that one of the food items in the pick up area had been sitting there since 830AM (it was 7 hours later). The sugar/creamer station was disgusting. The trash cans were overflowing and there was sugar everywhere. What an absolute mess. read more

Great location next to the Westin on Harbor Island. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Since it is such a high demand location, inventory levels for case goods can be inconsistent. Wondering if management confers with the hotel and city to better forecast supply levels? read more

Great location. Spacious w indoor and outdoor seating. Quick service. The one thing you need to consider is parking. Parking is $5/hr, they do compliment parking but only $10. So, if you are staying more than a couple hours, plan to pay for parking. Also, you'll park downstairs and need to park in a spot that is not reserved. read more

It seems no matter where I may travel to, Starbucks is always consistent in service and quality. This location is great. Nice outdoor patio. Plenty of seating and located conveniently to Westin Hotel and local Harbor Island retail and restaurants. Worth the visit. read more

OK place to stop in when walking over to Harbour island. Pet friendly patio with a large water bowl for you fur babies. Staff was fine but they could not honor my Starbucks rewards. From having a wonderful anniversary weekend with hubby to a coffee experience that felt shitty from the time they said "next in line". Ugh! Ordered the norm for us, white mocha and tea, Impossible Breakfast Sandwich, and croissant. After 10 min, they tell us they have no Impossible meat left. WE ALREADY GOT THE DRINKS!!!! Ugh! The barista was not inviting. I felt rushed. She took my husbands order before I could get out "croissant please?" Jeez! Poor customer service. People don't get we've been thru hell the past year. While the food/drinks are as expected for Starbucks, the employees were very unfriendly. I walked in a bit after their opening time of 0630 and two employees were standing at the counter while one was doing paperwork at a table. One employee yelled out "Sorry, we are closed." I asked what time they opened as I thought it was at 0630 and another said " oh, it is already 0630? What do you want?" The overall tone was just unfriendly and unwelcoming. While I normally tip more than the norm, I was not happy to have see the options of 20,25,custom or no tip when I went to pay as I could not get the screen to scroll down to the custom tip. Several other customers from our hotel conference came in after I did and all were treated in the same unfriendly manner. read more

I'm really glad this Starbucks opened up on Harbour Island, long overdue! We can now have coffees and teas and custom beverages at standard Starbucks prices and right near American social and Jackson's! It's a pretty standard Starbucks with points available for collection (not redemption), same high quality beverages and usually carries the seasonal specials. One of the great things about this Starbucks over some of the others in South Tampa is this one isn't that busy and it has ample electrical outlets available. Almost every seat has charging. It is well kept, staff are friendly and seating is comfortable. There is however negatives too- you can park in the paid parking, and get your parking validated here (for free), but that makes parking a little inconvenient. It also closes a little early for a regular Starbucks (read 8pm). The biggest negative is they don't allow you to use Starbucks reward points. You can collect them but can not redeem them here. So it kind of eliminates the use of points if you only come here for your Starbucks. read more

I had a wonderfully welcoming experience at this Starbucks. It was their first day open, which you would think would make everything hectic and crazy. On the contrary! Trevor, the manager, greeted me with a big smile! Blaise took my order and the 3 of us did a happy dance when I realized they had my favorite, limited-edition coffee (Casi Cielo for the win!) in stock. Taylor made my drink perfectly, with no issues with my requests. I never saw Kelly stop cleaning for even a second! Starbucks may be a big corporation, but the staff treats this store like they own it themselves. So friendly and gracious, and their excitement to be serving the Harbour Island community is contagious! The store itself is HUGE. There is no issue finding seats, tables, or outlets. I particularly love the artwork, which is a faux chalkboard design. There is even ample seating outside and thankfully even the outdoor space is non-smoking. Welcome to the neighborhood!!! read more

The location at 601 S Harbour Island in Tampa is awesome. Today especially so. Always friendly and prompt, remembering repeat customer preferences after just a short time. Most days I put in a sizable family order in person and after paying I wait maybe 1 minute, or 2 at most before it's all ready. This allows me to handle 3 work emails before heading home. Today I ordered, paid, and just barely had time to open email app and bam - order's ready! And even when they recently had a system issue, they still figured out how to open and handle simple cash orders, when most other locations would have just kept the doors closed. worst Starbucks I've been to. I work in the building and the staff is never knows what they're doing. It takes 15+ minutes for a drink every time. Continuously making drinking incorrectly. Great location- very convenient and although they don't have a drive-thru here, it is sometimes faster here than other Starbucks in the area with a drive-thru. A line of 8-10 customers and I watched 2 of the 4 employees doing nothing to help serve customers, one was actually yawning, flipping her ponytail tail around and drinking a beverage. No one giving direction or trying to show a sense of urgency. Finally, one of them started helping and the line started moving. Cashier was very nice once I got there, coffee was as expected. I admit that I use Starbucks for convenience, so it is frustrating when it is not as efficient as it could be. read more

Horrible customer service. Ran out of cold cups and lids. Stood in line for 15 minutes until I ordered and they told me they were out of cold brew and iced coffee at 9:15am on a Saturday. First week opening or not you should be way more prepared. Baristas did not once Apologize for the inconvenience to customers who I saw walk away after their order could not be taken. I went there about 3 days ago and got one coffee, cost about $4. Coffee was great as was the service, but just yesterday this same Starbucks charged me $40, I wasn't there yesterday. Called Starbucks customer service and they did nothing for me. Not very happy at all. read more
