We were heading from Tampa to Destin when we stopped for a quick breakfast at Starbucks. It was the morning, so the cafe was quite busy with people picking and enjoying their breakfast. We ordered cappuccino, caffe mocha, egg bites, butter croissants, and jalapeno chicken pockets from the menu. Our order arrived in 10 minutes, which we took to go. Starbucks' coffee has consistently been excellent, offering a fresh and satisfying flavor. The buttery croissants were equally delightful, adding a rich dimension to the coffee. We were disappointed by the jalapeno chicken pockets. While we typically enjoy chicken pockets, these ones were disappointing, as the chicken wasn't cooked well. Besides chicken pockets, the rest of Starbucks' food was excellent and kept us refreshed and energized for the journey ahead. read more

This is a great Starbucks location with friendly and quick service. The coffee is consistently good, and while I haven't tried their hot food yet, the pastries, cookies, and cake pops are always a treat... when they're in stock. My only gripe is that they often run out of cake pops by early afternoon, which is a bit disappointing. I really wish they'd stock more! Other than that, no complaints. This is the Starbucks in the same plaza as Trader Joe's. Think about that for a moment. Unless you're new in town or living under a rock, you don't know that you should probably avoid this location. It is ALWAYS packed. They have a drive-thru, and when we passed by, it was easier for me to be dropped off and order inside than to go through the drive-thru. The drive-thru had car after car, and well, the parking lot was a zoo with all the cars from Starbucks, Trader Joe's, and all the nearby businesses. That said, they make coffee correctly and are quite pleasant at this location. If you do decide to go to this location, you know your coffee will be just right. Just be careful parking or in the drive-thru and pack your patience! read more

The drive through had a huge line (atleast 8 cars waiting) so we went inside to order. I love this location, but be mindful of the drivers who may feel entitled to cut in from the driveway entrance regardless of the line that's formed out of the way of traffic. The morning rush can cause the line to back up quite extensively. This isn't necessarily the barista's faults. Often customers like myself have complicated orders that cannot easily be ordered through the mobile app. Regardless, the customary system of circling the building and allowing the line to build in such a way as to allow parked vehicles to exit and entering/exiting vehicles to leave the parking lot does allow a slight margin for vehicles to squeeze into the drive thru. I typically take a breath and decide that driver must have needed coffee so badly they needed to skip ahead of the 6+ vehicles patiently waiting. I've ridden with Uber drivers who decided it wasn't the best idea to try that move, so they pull ahead and block that driver and the entire driveway while they make it possible for me to complete my order. Apologies, but maybe it's the driver...or the layout. Haha I still love the service here! Top notch! read more

Yikes, this Starbucks is a hot mess. While looking for Pokemon and strolling through the plaza, my dad and I decided to stop here to grab some coffee and afternoon snacks before heading out. I ordered a venti Starbucks double shot on ice. I asked for half and half instead of milk in my drink. They made my drink incorrectly, which is fine, because I know mistakes happen, so I took my drink back and asked for a new drink. The young barista almost begrudgingly took my drink back to make me a new one. When I got my new drink, I noticed my cup wasn't completely full. 1/4 of the liquid had magically disappeared. I didn't complain anymore because I could see they wouldn't have it if I complained again. Maybe it had to do with the busy drive-thru, but you would think the baristas here would be used to how busy this location got, even on a Saturday afternoon. The iced lemon pound cake slice was more of a sliver than a whole piece that I was used to. It was much sweeter than I remember. Overall, a lackluster experience at Starbucks. The service here is terrible. Absolutely, consistently terrible. I am in this Starbucks at least once a week because I do my weekly shopping trip at Trader Joe's. Not a single one of the baristas has taken the time to learn my name, familiarize themselves with my very simple order (Venti Iced Coffee w/ Toffee Nut Syrup and Cream). They speak to customers quite rudely, dropping drinks on the counter while hastily calling out a name. The straw that broke the camel's back for me though came today. I came in to get my first PSL of the season. As silly as it may seem there is a sort of fun excitement the moment holds for me. I order my drink, scoot over to wait for it, then the girls behind the machine informed me that they hated PSL, most baristas did, they didn't see the appeal. I literally don't care if you think the PSL tastes like wet earth. I just ordered the drink. To criticize my order so openly not only undermines me as a guest, but also your company and product. They took that small bit of joy from me, in getting my first PSL (which they also took, no exaggeration, about 10 minutes to make). They can make the drinks consistently to satifaction, but their behavior, or lack thereof is extremely off-putting. read more

I gave it a bit and when a few orders came out and mine still didnt arrive i asked the the young woman bringing food to the mobile station about it. This is your typical Starbucks: expensive coffee, friendly service, and difficult to find a table because Mac users are busy "working on their novels" 24/7. The drive-thru line at this location is usually ridiculous, and since a drunk person apparently designed the parking lot where this Starbucks is located, it often blocks the entrance to the entire shopping center. Just park and go inside. You'll save time, gas, and help patch that giant hole in the ozone layer. Being that I don't like paying high prices for things that I can make at home and/or have more calories than a Cliff bar, I just ordered a tall Pike Place roast to go. It was hot, it was coffee, and I was satisfied. Should I require more caffeine and am too lazy to turn on my own coffee pot, I'd return to this location. read more

Here's what I want from a Starbucks: a consistent cup of coffee that I know will taste a specific way, quick service, and a clean environment. This Starbucks mainly hits those points, but there are a few things that makes it not work as well as my home Starbucks. First, the bathrooms. It's hard to keep the bathrooms clean during a day, so I understand that when you have a line inside and a line around the building in the drive thru, the bathroom takes a lower priority. The problem is that this location was far beyond the "we haven't looked at it in a couple of hours" phase. There was very little toilet paper left with no back-up roll. There were towels all over the floor. It just needed attention. Outside in the store, a woman was cleaning the floor by hand with paper towels and spray, which seemed odd to be doing during the day when the bathroom needed that amount of attention. Second, the speed of the drink making was...really...quite...deliberate. One drink at a time. There were two baristas making drinks, and one had only recently evolved from slugdom, apparently. Wow. It's rare to see someone take so very much time on a single activity. I'm pretty sure at least a minute was spent cleaning the steam wand on the machine after each and every drink. My iced americano, a pretty simple drink to make, took five minutes to finish. Granted, there was a line, but with a bit of organization behind the bar, that drink time could be cut in half. The service was really friendly, however, and the other barista was really working the bar at a high level. A little more attention to detail would pull this store's atmosphere up. read more

I truly do not like giving bad reviews but sometimes they are warranted. My last visit started badly when I had to wait to order, then the 2 (regular) drinks took an inordinate amount of time and the order finished with my name not being called and the drinks didn't even have names on them. By the time I got both drinks one of them was only warm. This is the second time I've waited and waited and waited for my drink at this location in the last month. I'll stop back by sometime and see if things have changed. read more

Order accuracy - 5 stars I perform grotesque Island of Dr. Moreau-like genetic modifications on their drinks and have been given the wrong beverage maybe once Processing time - 3.5 stars They are highly efficient in both the drive thru (which is the chief bottleneck at peak flow times...which in a Starbucks this conveniently located is essentially every minute it's open of course) and also at the counter. It's just, they're always, ALWAYS busy. The bathroom?! - 4 stars This is on Starbucks standards, which are admittedly low. They seem to clean it a lot, and other than the inexplicable universality of bathrooms that completely lack ventilation, spending time in their lavatory doesn't inescapably call man's worst acts of hatred against man to mind. Seating Situation - 4 stars The comfortable patio adds 1 star to this rating. The interior is small, though not cramped with seats, presenting a sometimes amusing but usually frustrating musical chairs for grownups, teenagers, the general unemployed, and people weirdly talking with four other people about two different bible concordances one of which is in Czech. Overall, a solid Starbucks, nothing to steer clear of, to be sure. read more

DON'T GO HERE! I'm mad I had to give them one star. We placed a mobile order and walked in at the time it was supposed to be ready. While we waited I watched the barista set our cups of espresso to the side and make the order that was placed as we were standing waiting for our order. She finally finished ours and they tasted like hot milk. We asked for them to be re-made and this time received half full cups of hot milk. Not acceptable for the price you pay for good coffee. We're traveling so I called and asked for a refund and was told they couldn't process refunds over the phone. How convenient. I never leave reviews but this was ridiculous. read more

Fairly typical Starbucks. This one is nice because there are lots of glass windows making it seem open and bright. We received our drinks quickly and the staff was very friendly. Restrooms were reasonably clean and well stocked, but the table area could have been a little more clean and tidy. read more

You know, it's a Starbucks. It is what it is. I try not to frequent here or any of them as often as I can but when you crack out on caffeine six times a day, a fix is a fix. This location, along with the one in the Tallahassee mall and the one near Southwood have the distinction of being the only respectable coffee option in their areas (the mall being a captive area). Au Peche Mignon would be the exception for an espresso, but alas they've got limited hours. This particular Starbucks sits at that nexus between shopping and dining near the I-10/Thomasville interchange and is on the smaller side. There's limited seating but that's tempered by the relatively low traffic volume so finding a table probably presents little trouble most days; I never sit here, just grab a shot to go (there's a drive-thru, by the way). If it's not Sunday or Monday, not too early in the morning and not too late in the afternoon, go to Au Peche Mignon in Market Square across Thomasville instead. Better for your soul and taste buds, plus the pastries are legit. read more
