I love this location! Everyone here is so kind! Sometimes the line is crazy long, but they are so quick and efficient at getting the cars through even with an awkward drive through. Today, I had a delicious breakfast sandwich that was served warm and a yummy pistachio cream cold brew that was exactly like I ordered, down to the light ice. This is my go to spot for Starbucks because I like that it's right by the highway. I've figured out the better times to go bc it can be hit or miss with how long the line can be the downside to this location is when the line is long the entry to the drive thru is awkward and has to curve around which can make it difficult for other cars to go around. So when I see the line is busy I just go inside and I feel like they prioritize my order bc I took the time to walk in so it's quick. The staff are always friendly and I haven't had a bad customer experience despite how long it has taken sometimes. read more

My daughter wanted a coffee, so we stopped for a coffee. She was paying for it, so I was okay with making it to Starbucks and she even got a frappe for my wife. Positive stuff here. The crew was super nice and even though it was busy, were filling drinks in the right order. Meaning that they delivered the frappe first so that my wife could drink that before the whipped cream started dropping. Very nice. It's a small store with a drivethrough but they're getting it done. The drinks are always good and the service friendly but there is a huge downside to this location: This location is not easy to get in and out of, the drive thru line is always long (anytime of the day) but that being said, just run in and they are pretty fast. Decent little Starbucks right off Main St in Summerville. As many know Main Street can be pretty dang congested with traffic, especially if it is raining and the Christmas shopping center. This is what lead me to stop by this Starbucks to get a cup of coffee to warm up and wait on the traffic to ease up a little. The staff here was really friendly and the coffee was decent. I love Starbucks and most Starbucks are amazing. However, every time I come to this Starbucks the employees are normally not as friendly. Today a young lady by the name of Hendrix criticized us for coming to pick up our mobile drive throughly order before it was ready. Considering they weren't busy at all I didn't understand the attitude. I let it go. Until we witnessed her talking unfairly about a gentleman ordering just a large water. Be kind to your customers. The three stars mostly reflects the extremely slow service times and cleanliness of the shop. This is one of the dirty Starbucks I have been to and there has never been napkins in the dispenser since I started visiting last summer. I come here about 3 times a week as it is on my way to work and one of the few things open that early. Since I am before the traditional work traffic, there is rarely a line inside or in the drive thru. I usually order ahead just because I like to run in and grab it on the way and only once has it not been ready (due to a technical fluke). They always greet me when I walk in and the one time that I had to wait, they were very chatty and apologetic about the mixup. I can see the parking lot being a pain to navigate when they are busy, and you do have to know you are going there in order to make the turn way before the store or way after and down a side road (no direct turn in). I ordered a tall iced americano with vanilla sweet cream and a barista named Sarah asked me if I wanted it to be half sweet cream and have americano. I told her no, and that it should be mostly americano. My order came out and the girl didn't call my name. Sarah even asked me how to spell it so, when it came out I told her about how my name means beloved by God. And that Dawud is David. And, when she said it she said it perfectly on the first try. She gave me a nice smile and told be about how her name mean healer. I took a sip of my drink and it tasted like the cream was spoiled so I had it remade and the second was given to me bu Sarah and was darker with less vanilla sweet cream and still tasted spoiled. I had it remade a third time and Sarah asked if I wanted half and half. I told her no, and without any cream, just black, and when it came out, she nearly spilled the spoiled drink on me. It got all over the counter and floor. (And even the third tasted bad). I got some napkins for sympathy and placed them over the spilled drink on the counter while she went to get a rag. She came back and placed the rag over the napkins put on the counter and handed me my new drink, then told me to pat the rag as if she was my boss. I paused and she adjusted her demeanor and told me to place the drink down on the rag because it had some of the spilled drink on the bottom. I hope the crew's evening goes smoother. If Sarah new the vanilla sweet cream was bad and I should have gotten half and half they should have told me they were out. read more

This Starbucks location has certainly evolved over the years. When I first moved to the area they allowed patrons to smoke at the tables out in front of their cafe, essentially forcing non smokers to walk thru a cloud of second hand smoke just to get a Latté. This policy has changed and there have been some other positive changes as well. The long "wait time" that I once experienced when visiting has decreased quite a bit. The staff seems friendlier and the inside has been rearranged and has more seating available. The prices remain typical "Starbucks" prices ranging from approximately $4.00 to $6.00 for one espresso drink but overall this location has improved with time and appears to be one of the better Starbucks locations in the area. read more

I usually walk here weekly, pre-order my drink and pick it up, the morning crew has been kind since day 1 and either walks my drink to the door or lets us cross over to pick it up, and gives Elle a pup cup. She's an ESA, papers and all (ADHD, ptsd, and anxiety, over stimulation and stress make it hard for my brain to process things and can give me a nervous system break down) I don't take her everywhere when I'm struggling she or my smaller dog comes along, usually the little one bc no one notices her, only places where I don't have to talk about it which is why I love having this location walking distance from my apartment. Today when I walked in I was only told "she can't be here" by someone I've never seen before. I said ok can I pick up my drink and we'll go, I was cut off again and told she can't be in here. Met some friends in Summerville for coffee. I have been to several local locations. Location: Loud. Louder than many others due to the lack of accoustics tiles. The site seems larger than most so seating was not a problem. Rated a 2.5 Service: Ordered from mobile app even though I was in the store. Just easier for me. Never heard name called. Could have been due to noise. Interactions with staff were pleasant Rated a 3. Food: Drinks wee done well. No problems there. Beagle was warm and coffee was hot, as it should be.
