The good? My black cup of joe was good, nice and hot.
The bad? I guess Muggs had a staffing problem, the 4 people and me in line waited for over 5 minutes with nobody in sight. Finally another employee (maybe from the bookstore?) came by and said she'd go and try to find the barista. Another 2 minutes, and she appeared. She was the only one working, so maybe it was an extended bio break. I don't fault her, but come on Muggs, that's no good.
Muggs offers plenty of fancy coffee based drinks, Cheesecake, Cinnamon Bun, etc, smoothies, lemonade, and teas. That's not my taste, but the selection seems broad.
Muggs is situated in the back of Books a Million, on the indoor Northwoods mall promenade. Simple high and low tables and a comfy stuffed chair or two make the atmosphere casual, relaxing, and perfect for coffee and conversation.
Lastly, I never mind waiting in line because I'm in a comfy wheelchair. Access is good and easy for us wheelers. read more
