This Starbucks is always slow and understaffed. Today I went in and there were 3 peole behind the counter with 6 people in line that were waiting to place an order. Not one person behind the counter spoke to anyone waiting in line. They should at least acknowledge people in line and let them know they would be right with them, or some sort of acknowledgement of them being there. I didn't stick around to order. read more

I guess they got so many complaints about mobile orders far exceeding the expected pick up time that they now just mark your mobile order as ready for pickup before it's actually ready. And not in "I'm just pouring the milk in and it will be ready" kind of way. Like, mark it ready and start making it 15 minutes later. Honestly the coffee is not bad when certain people are there. However if you encounter a short white boy with a beanie on and you're a woman prepare to be objectified and for your coffee to suck. I refuse to go near this place when I see that guy. He's always trying to be gross with his pick up lines and corny comments. Definitely gives creep vibes. Seriously avoid this place when creep boy is there. The other guys are super nice and don't try to objectify or hit on us when we come up the females there are awesome as well. This location is inside the Kroger grocery store. They were in the process of closing down due to a lack of employees, yet I was able to still place my order. Although the one-person team was juggling orders, preparation, cleaning, restocking, she did it all with a smile. A restock is necessary as no cup trays, stopper sticks, or napkins were available. Starbucks - Inside of Kroger, 9.30.2020. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Stone Mountain, Georgia

I come here probably twice a week solely for the convenience of being able to place a mobile order at a Starbucks located along my daily route. However, I regret that decision almost every time I step into my local Kroger. This location is frequently understaffed and under stocked and I always give myself 15 min of buffer time to receive my order once in store even if I placed the order online. I know that Starbucks has just revamped its system to allow mobile ordering inside of Kroger locations so I am hoping that this is just a brief learning curve and that the experience will improve soon! I will give three stars in the meantime though based on the location and customer service of the baristas! I'm always greeted with a smile and warm welcome which makes the wait a bit bearable. Tip: don't order the PSL here. I've ordered it on three separate occasions and it always tastes like chemicals (and I don't have this problem at other Starbucks). read more

I'm visiting the area, and this Starbucks is the only place in the area for an early coffee. I'm actually not even a fan of the megacorp, but my experience was just fine. Got in, the young lady took my order, and made it quickly. Tasted as expected. Sure, she could have been a bit friendlier, but I'm cutting her slack since it was 6:30a on a Saturday morning. It's a kiosk in a supermarket and not a full-fledged store. Some older gentlemen were there before me sitting at the table, and seemed to be enjoying their coffees too. I'll be back tomorrow. Worst Starbucks location. ALWAYS out of everything, staff doesn't show up to work, so you never know when they will open. The attitude of the workers when they do show up are like they can't be bothered with taking your order. They say oven is broken just so they don't have to heat up any breakfast sandwiches. read more

Took me a minute to figure out it was inside the Kroger's. My GPS kept saying I'd arrived and I argued with her for awhile before pulling around to the front of Kroger's where the Starbucks sign was laughing at me. Ha! The Starbucks is right in the front - conveniently located. Three employees and none of them seemed to like being employed. One was on her phone. And the other two were catching up on their weekend activities. While waiting for my wrap to come out of the toaster, a manager came by to managerially ask the employees to be productive. It was obvious they had been called out before. As soon as the manager left the three began making fun of her. Not cool ladies. Not cool. There are no other coffee shops around here. So next time I'll go to McDonalds. read more

Definitely not the best starbucks I've been to. I ordered a regular black coffee and it tasted a bit sour. It probably wasn't fresh, like they made it in the morning or something. They don't have as much business as a regular Starbucks so that's probably why. Wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're in dire need of Starbucks coffee. Not much pastry options either.. You might as well buy some from Kroger. The only thing that distinguishes this one from most Starbucks is that it's inside a Kroger. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing though. read more

This place use to have awesome employees and the drinks were made just like any other Starbucks. It's gone down significantly in quality & service. I've tried several times recently, hoping that my previous experience was just a fluke. Nope, it's for sure a regular let down each time. The employees always make you feel like you're bothering them. Some of them look like they just rolled out of bed without bothering to shower or comb their hair. They are not outright rude, but you just get the feeling that they'd rather you go somewhere else rather than make them stop talking about their weekend plans to give you an espresso. Now, I am willing to put up with that because I remember what it's like to be young and stuck at some job you hate, but what I won't keep putting up with is nasty drinks. My iced latte always tastes off. Like the coffee is old or the machine hasn't been cleaned in a while. There is always a nasty after taste. And I just don't trust that they make these drinks the way that other Starbucks do. This is the only store that I have this problem with. It's awful and just frustrates you when you're craving your Starbucks fix. (I know, 1st world problems). You can try it if you're just not interested in going somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it though. It's not worth even the short line. read more

The drinks here has always been a miss for me. Not enough espresso, lacks any type of flavor, uses wayyyyy toooooo much milk...seriously, all I can ever taste is milk. The 2 stars is for the service alone. The employees are usually pretty friendly and courteous. But that's definitely not enough for me to come back. I go here often, the baristas for the most part are very friendly and know what they are doing. It's inside of a Kroger, and is a nice place to hang out after school, but the atmosphere is more busy and less intimate because of the influx of shoppers. read more

My husband and I go here frequently as there are only a few Starbucks within 20 minutes of us and this one is the closest....We've realized that no matter which Starbucks we go to we always seem to wait 20 minutes just to get our drinks, so it makes more sense to get them here. There are two girls that I see there often. They are really friendly and make the drinks pretty well. Obviously, during peak times- weekday and weekend mornings- there will be a good wait. But if you've got to grab some milk or pick up a few things, you can place your order, go shop and come back to pick up your drink. Otherwise, the service is pretty good. They almost always have the same drinks and promotions as the stand alone Starbucks and the pricing is about the same too. read more

Extremely disappointed by my experience at this location. Even if it is located inside a Kroger, I expected the personnel to be professional. They had me waiting for more than 10 minutes just because they were discussing with a customer before me (who apparently was a tattoo artist) their next tattoo. I absolutely HATE this location. This is the closest Starbucks to my house and after moving to this area 5 years ago i have given this location multiple chances because its so convenient but i always regret it. My frappuccino never tastes like coffee, just like milk and its an off white color not the usually brown color. I don't know who trains the employees here but its clear that they are all being trained by the same person (who also could benefit from training) because they all add too much milk to drinks. I just make the extra drive to the Tucker location, which i love. read more
