Staff friendly, but didn't pay attention when taking order and gave me grande drinks instead of ventes.. they fixed the order and were super pleasant...saw the herbal tea, asked if they added then splash of cream, which they obviously had not, so they fixed it..got on the road...and they didn't add Stevia as ordered, but I'm not going back again. There was a line but no workers attending to it. It took a long time to get our drinks, although they quickly made their own coffee.

Tone-deaf, snippy help. Had to re-order after discovering the hard way the "iced energy" drinks are basically diet aspartame vehicles. Employee at register implied my fault for not asking what was not advertised. Employee at coffee bar chastised me for throwing the drink in the trash, as liquid could leak. Fair enough. Good note. No offer of refund or any other goodwill gesture. Like fifteen bucks including unmerited tip to end up with a glorified Arnold Palmer as Plan B. Won't be back. read more

Most locations are over priced, especially if you are in a touristy area. The up-charge for nondairy milk is unreasonable, especially since it usually has a longer shelf life than cow mucus. Sadly I have to change my 5-star review to a one-star review. I also need to apologize to all the other one-star reviewers. I realize that they are correct about the personnel who work at this location. Now I must clarify that all of the men who work at this location are friendly, courteous and provide GREAT customer service. Unfortunately, they haven't been the ones providing me with service during my last five visits to this location. Instead, I've been dealing with all of the female staff employed here and they are all RUDE, MOODY, UNFRIENDLY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. They ALL have negative attitudes, never say hi or smile. Having to interact with them is an UNPLEASANT experience. I can't wait to get my coffee and leave. The store manager for this location needs to educate their female staff about the importance of friendly and professional customer service. Until this issue gets addressed and corrected I will definitely NOT recommend this location. read more

I love coming here for coffee. Hot drinks in the winter and cold ones in the summer. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. I usually get a mocha. Having a registered Starbucks card gets free drinks after 12 purchases and the have bonus specials quite often. Their food looks good but I have not tried any. I had place my order online 20 minutes before I was to arrive at the store. Not only was it not ready others whom ordered on look one had been waiting 30 to 45 minutes to get their coffee. Then she would not make the orders in order that they came in. I am a regular here during the summer, and a drive through regular the rest of the year. I always enjoyed visiting this location. However, after the recent remodel, I can't say that I will be back very often. I liked that I could buy a coffee and sit, relax, read a paper in my iPad, and use it as an place to work while drinking coffee and eating a pastry. However, the remodel removed half of the seats. So Starbucks customers have to stand and wait for a seat to open up, or go to the drive thru. I know Starbucks has a model that relies on movement and flow of people in and out of their store. However, I don't think they realized that this location was (before the remodel) one of the very few coffee shops with a functioning area for people to grab a coffee and sit and talk. So, instead of meeting business partners, drinking coffee, working, and patronizing this location, I will visit the new caribou or Edgar's coffee shops. I was a loyal customer for 6 years, every day. This morning, my husband asked that our Americanos be made without water (how they were ordered & reflected on the cup stickers), and the barista dumped the drinks, acting all irritated. One barista told me how to order my drink next time. I ordered a Venti Iced Americano. Seems pretty simple to any trained barista. But he called me up to the bar and proceeded to tell me that I should order my drink as just shots, water and the syrup. I'm positive those are the ingredients in my drink. I worked for the company and I know that's a standard beverage. He was all over the place complaining about this and that and arguing with customers. As if sassing me wasn't enough he then proceeded to make my drink a hot Americano!! If I ever visit Springfield again I definitely will not return to this location. This review is solely on their new construction. Starbucks is Starbucks, workers are nice etc, but I don't understand why they made this place smaller...there are only 23 seats and I think they really should've added extra seating. There are two door openings that take up space and also a huge area to display tumblers and coffees for sale and I think seating would be much more beneficial. My friend is also super bothered by the fact that the grains on the table go different directions. A huge table is bolted down so it really lacks functionality. read more

Among the Starbucks in town, this one is not my favorite. I think the people are friendlier at the Clear Lake location, but it's on the other side of town. So, occasionally, this one will have to do. My experience has been that there's either way too much syrup/stuff in my latte, or not enough to the point where it's just milk. Horrible. If I could give zero stars, I would. I Ordered iced americano (which I have been getting for years)-it was watered down and warm. When I asked for ice to make it cold, I was treated like I was a bother. Tried adding ice and the coffee and it remained warm and became more watered down. By that time, I had spent 10 minutes on it-I dumped it in the bathroom and just left. I drink Starbucks very often-i will never return to this location. Second time in a row I have been treated poorly and received bad coffee. When you pay almost 5.00 for a cup-you really don't want the hassle. Should I have asked for a refund-my husband says yes, but it is easier to just goto Dunkin Donuts or a smaller coffee place in the future. read more

I loathe coming to this location. The slowest Starbucks I've ever been to (inside and drive thru) and about every other time I'm there they screw up my order - even the mobile ones! And of course I'm long gone before I realize they've screwed it up AGAIN! I've spent quite a bit of money here in my two months in Springfield. My drinks vary in flavor and strength a bit but they still taste fine. Staff has been friendly MOST of the time. Free wifi is nice but not enough seating inside, and not enough outlets for charging. Dinning room is lacking attention and care that went into designing the area where drinks are made and employees work. Its also not very clean, customers leave plates of food on tables, but then they sit there for an hour until someone wants to use the table. read more
