Went to get my usual Summer-Berry Lemonade Drink, and my new favorite thing is getting it in a Venti or Trenta and transferring it into my Stanley so it stays cold all day on these hot days!! Deelish!! The service is always superb when they discontinued the cherry powder I LOVED to get in the drink I asked if there was a better substitute that's besides dragonfruit and was informed they are getting raspberry next week! I look forward to trying that refreshingness!!! The worker helping me was the BEST and so nice his name was Ty, what excellent service he gave and this team always does. Which keeps me returning! The ambiance was a bit of a wait in the drive through, but it's okay because they move very very quick! And it is nothing but good/happy vibes when you get to the front!! I went came to the Sonora Starbucks twice during the weekend. The first time I went into the store to place my order as the drive-through line was very long. The wait inside was just as long. The second time we went through the drive-through. It was early on Sunday morning and not a bad wait. I had rewards points expiring and hope to use them. Ultimately I was able to, but it took a while to get it worked out. the coffee I ordered on my first visit was made my order. On my second visit, I got my usual half calf latte. The coffee tasted stale. The flavor wasn't what I expected. On both visits the barista friendly and efficient. As Starbucks go my experience was average. read more

Jennifer the store manager is rude, when asking for a manger she said she was the manager then hung up. Asking for a receipt is pointless they look at you like you just spoke in a foreign language and even then they don't give you one. I rarely go into this branch and I am reminded why today. I try to always give people the benefit of the doubt. That goes with businesses as well. But after 3 separate occasions giving 3 different chances, I am beginning to fully accept the fact that either 1. this Starbucks location and I have differing definitions on what an acceptable temperature is when it comes to my coffee or 2. this house coffee I am being served is truly made with just a scoop of your basic backyard pond water. As any genuine blonde would say, "I don't get it?". Is this cold dirt water that I'm being served seriously being passed off as the basic hot black coffee I've actually ordered? I'm almost startled that this has continued not once, not twice.. but now after my third and final visit, nothing has changed. And God forbid trying to bring this to the attention of the employees here. I'm not sure they have the capacity nor the knowledge to remedy the situation. If anything, it only gets worse. It's become very clear to me that this Starbucks has no business serving my coffee. I'm literally embarrassed that this place exists in Sonora. So from now on, instead of wasting almost $3 on what can only be defined as 'mild-tempered regurgitated coffee grounds stewed in toilet water', my only reason for spending any time in this building is to occupy a chair, soak up the warmth and mooch off the public wifi while waiting for my nearby shift to start. My daughter pre-ordered two drinks on the app. After about 10 minutes we arrived at the location and I went inside to get our drinks. As I arrived two groups of people were irritated and told the manager they were tired of waiting and wanted a refund. The manager explained that they have many orders and they are trying to get them out as fast as they can. I waited another 20 minutes and asked the manager to check if my order was received because there were people who put in orders after I arrived and they already received their orders. The manager refused to check and said I had to wait an additional 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and got in line again. Finally after waiting in line another 20+ minutes (now an hour after I ordered) I get to the register and I ask the gentleman to check if they received my order? He checked and said he couldn't find my order. THEY LOST MY ORDER! The manager came back and did not apologize for loosing my order or making me wait so long for NOTHING. What really made me mad was the fact that I asked the manager to check 20 minutes into this, and she refused. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS LOCATION MY BUSINESS AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW WHAT BAD SERVICE THEY HAVE. This location is severely mis-managed! read more

Update with the new location that's across the parking lot in the old McDonald's spot. I'll swing in because it's on the way to work. The line moves quickly in the morning, as it's usually pretty busy. The inside is nice and open. The staff is always courteous and friendly. Both good things! However.... I usually get a venti iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel drizzle because I like the sweet and honestly don't care much for coffee. Don't even bother ordering the extra drizzle here, because you'll never get it. Ordered the usual today and they didn't even put the vanilla syrup in the milk, nor the extra drizzle. I've tried again and again and this spot never seems to get it right. Maybe a simpler drink, but don't get your hopes up too high. read more

I love the new location. Great staff friendly service. The wifi is very weak. The chairs are the most uncomfortable i have ever sat in. I like to stop in early in the morning and relax for a few minutes before going to my other girlfriends house. You wont be able to sit for more than 5 minutes. Its a coffee house and they dont have stir sticks I will have to go to Day-o and sit in my car where the seats are comfy. read more

I'm not exactly sure how to describe it , The inside was nice and empty, clean , the bathrooms were clean , the service was good , it's obviously a new location, it's not a bad experience, other people are giving out one stars but this was not a one star experience, maybe it gets busy, maybe there might be gridlock in the drive through but did I see any of that? Nope, the only thing I didn't like is how the WiFi asked for a LOT of personal details like my email and zip code ,, that's not cool , but not worth a low star count . Keep on Brewing !! read more

I've seen Pondwater move faster than the girls in this location. I was a GM for a quick serve restaurant so I can tell you first hand that 13 minutes for an iced tea lemonade is absolutely ridiculous and should NEVER happen. Walk in customers always need to go before the drive-threw customers. But at this location you might as well not even waste your time walking in as they completely ignore you and make you wait nearly 15 minutes for a small drink that has no modifications and is on their regular menu. Literally zero sense of urgency. read more

Apparently the chairs are meant to keep you uncomfortable so you don't stay long. Don't worry, I don't see myself coming here often. Liked the old place much better. I know its just sugar water, but its delicious sugar water to a lazy person who doesn't want to wait for her sugar to dissolve in an iced coffee. The water in this area does taste different . So depending on what you order it could be a little bit different . The reason I'm giving this place such a high review it is one of the very few locations that can make a twix Frappuccino. Perky hipster dude with beard because without one he's overly androgynous, skinny jeans, knit beanie and earlobes one could press a Venti Mocha thru sideways. I visit a lot because it's convenient to work and home. I use the mobile ordering and love being able to pay on my phone, drive to the store and then walk in and get my stuff right away. Occasionally the system has bugs and today was one of those days. When I arrived there were tons of people in the area waiting for drinks and there were at least 6 mobile orders prepared. I grabbed my food items but didn't see my drink, which happens sometimes, so I stood and waited. After about 1 minute someone asked what my drink was and explained the label machine had quit working so they would make my drink right away. They made the drink and then apologized for the delay. It made what could have been a terrible visit, great. read more

Yoooo, this new place is dope plenty of seating, I love coming in at 5 a.m. and sitting on the comfy ass padded stool things around the communal table. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are the same with greeting customers and regulars as they come in and I am constantly seeing them walk drinks out to customers if they are sitting down when they can. I think this is a perfectly fine Starbucks and I've had to frequent Starbucks in the city where they can't get away with anything. I really can't see what the other raters are complaining about. It's nice and big, and has lots of tables, including a nice big one for study sessions. The wifi is fine, and the chairs and tables as comfortable as can be expected. The baristas are always really nice to me and I've never had any issues with drinks taking time or being messed up. This is really a perfectly fine Starbucks. Bonus; it's got a conference room you can rent for meetings. Starbucks in the city can barely afford enough space for a line. Big is better in this case dudes. read more

Drinks were fine, typical Starbucks but it was a dirty shop. Tables, floors, bathrooms and as I waited for my drink I noticed the barista finishing frothing a second pitcher of milk without wiping off steam wand. Went at least 7-8 minutes without cleaning. Yuck. Look close and you can see it dirty and you can see they don't 'blow it clean' after each use, they just let it drip remaining milk into that plastic container underneath. Great place for bacteria.... Nasty. Glad I just got an iced tea. read more

I miss the old location. It had a warmer vibe and comfier chairs. But what's done is done. My biggest issue is the WiFi. I came here to work, and instead I'm writing this review on my phone because my computer is getting zilch. And it's not a one time thing. I've come in many times, and the WiFi is next to none. Please fix it! For me, it's kinda the whole point of going to Starbucks, especially in a rural area. No offense to the staff, they're perfectly fine. read more
