We stopped in each morning during our three-day stay in E-town and by the third morning she knew what we wanted even before we ordered. That's magic! But it wasn't just us, it was a number of customers who she knew the names, faces and orders for and she did it while being polite, personable and efficient. I think it would be a smart move for the management at Second Cup to have new "baristas" at other locations shadow her for a few days, or maybe a week, and observe how she interacts with customers. She's "old school" in her approach to customer service and "the kids" could learn so much from her. I don't need a heart or a smiley face on my latte to make me become a regular at a coffee shop, what I want is genuine human interaction from the person serving me my coffee.

It is more sleek and modern than other locations however, and there is more than enough space for patrons to line up without crowding each other or people who are seated. The weekday morning barista is really nice, friendly, knows the regulars by name and drink, and went out of her way to help me find a happy level of sweetness to my vanilla latte. Very good food/treat selection too. Try the spinach & herb twist, very tasty and will keep you going past lunch. Why can't Starbucks have decent nibblies like this? A wrap or sandwich will set you back at least $7 - go next door to 7-11 instead and get one for under $5. This location also offers Pinkberry frozen yogourt. I don't know why, and have yet to see anyone order it. Lemme know how it is if you try it. Seems like an odd random place to have frogurt.

Every time I stop by, the whole team seems like they're having a great time together which doesn't always happen in these kinds of settings. One of the team members always makes my day by remembering my order and calling me "sweetpea". One thing that really impressed me was seeing how that same team member handled a sleeping unhoused person at one of their tables. At other businesses, I've seen staff scream at people to leave and handle them roughly. However, she was kind and compassionate and didn't just send him outside. Instead, she asked him if there was anyone she could call for him and when he said yes, she helped him out by waiting until his ride arrived. While this isn't the best Starbucks to sit down in (it's quite small and busy), it's a great spot to grab a quick morning coffee and the customer service is some of the best.

This location has a variety of seating and self serve water. Good Earth is a great spot for a catch up coffee date with a friend. Can't wait for Egg Nog season to get here! See you soon, Good Earth!

Have always found the staff really nice, some have been remarkable but its all new faces for me as I haven't been for some time. The atmosphere is chill enough to sit and relax awhile. Never crazy like the Starbucks up the road and they seem to have gone for really CLEAN syrups (I believe) - cutting out some of the "bad" sugars, oils and additives we don't really need that are empty fatty calories. Nice! Also offering very healthy smoothies. Worth popping in if you haven't visited in some time. Its getting close to time for a facelift for the walls color wise but still artwork, clean interior. I'm a stickler for curb appeal though. The big baskets outside are showing wear on their bases and the cushions for the outdoor furniture are outside uncovered, so the patio looks mumbo jumbo, but if you don't have storage what can ya do? Doesn't affect the yummy coffee (awesome RICH decaf latte!!) and I love the treats. Still carry a couple of my top quick snack favs from the Italian Center. Yippee!

Friendly, cheerful, and always there to make your beverage just right. I generally stick to the standard menu when I go to Starbucks, but at this location I'll quickly transition to one of those patrons with a 10-step drink order. I'm not trying to be annoying, I just know this quieter, less-busy location is the perfect spot to make requests for my ideal latte without fear of holding up the line or earning an eyeroll from the staff. Hours are from 7am - 6pm most days, but are reduced on Fridays and in the summers. It's not open weekends, so if you need coffee during a marathon study session on a Saturday or Sunday, go to SUB. I find the drinks here are pretty consistent although I'm not a huge fan of the coffees they sell. They've got lots of cute little impulse items at the till. Cute cookies, and a good selection of pastries. Also, this location has the best artwork. Whoever does the chalk art at this store, kudos to you. It's super cute and the signs are always lovely.
