    rude barista making a face...

I picked up my coffee 2 hours after I placed my mobile order due to an emergent situation. One female barista was very friendly to offer me to make a new drink to me since the old one looked kinda weird. However, this rude male barista stopped her, threw away my old drink and forced me to make a new payment in order to get a new one! Super rude attitude. I have encountered other very friendly baristas who were happy to make new ones at no cost. This is the worst customer experience!

Clean, courteous, and quick. We got egg bites, oatmeal, and two coffee drinks. No mistakes! We ate outside at one of 6 tables. This is situated next to the Amazon Spheres and across the street from a "gentleman's club."

I am not a coffee Snob, so when I take the time to write this review there is a problem! The order I place every other day is the same and basic. I order a 16oz drip coffee with 2% milk. Due to the todays norm, I'm not allow to pour the right amount of 2% milk in my coffee. That falls into the hands of the barista, and i tried my best to direct them on the proper amount. Which is a light blonde tint. So i will say 1/2" of milk. I'm paying close to $4 for a cup of coffee and what I receive at times is totally unacceptable! And when I go back to ask them to correct my order, I'm greeted with attitude. It's a simple and basic order. Let me pour my milk!

If you love the iced coffees, then you will probably love the Nitro coffees. No crazy bitterness that a lot of people I know hate about Starbucks. No ice to water it down. If you're not into super sweet drinks or watching your sugar intake, then the Nitro Flat White might be perfect for you! No sugar is necessary to cover that bittery burntness. It's creamy and light, with 2 shots of espresso. If you need a bit of sweetness go and try the Nitro Peach Tea. It has a nice bouquet of peachyness with a bit of bubble to remind you of summer. If you like a bit more coffee power, go with the Nitro Brew. Looks like a nice pint of Guinness when being poured by tap. Plus it never hurts to add a shot of Sweet Cream.

    Ever changing menu.

What can I say. This is my go to spot for caffeine. I am a regular drip coffee girl but cheat on my coffee with a macchiato on occasion. I love the consistent service and delicious drinks.

This Starbucks has all of my favorite qualities. It's spacious, airy with high ceilings, there are multiple seating options for working and socializing, and the staff is always friendly. To top it off they always get my drinks right. Highly recommended.

    - Virgin Visit - After my hubby's non-stop rave about the new nitro brews, he convinced me to come and try. I've never been in this store so I was really excited at the open air feeling. This is a great place to bring my girl friends for our monthly cafe dates. I tried the Torched Vanilla Nitro Brew and my other half chose the Lake Union Fog (he's had a nitro flat white last time and he's on a kick on trying every single one of them). My drink was unfortunately 'meh', the flavor was too diluted and could not really taste the coffee (taste akin to drinking plain soy milk,it wasn't soy based). However my hubby's drink was delish so I will still give it another go with a different flavor. They lost a on my drink but did well on other things. The baristas were very kind and friendly and even offered to refill my ice water bottle. Top notch folks! I love the abundance of surface areas for folks to stand or sit down. I especially appreciate the seemingly wider space behind the counter to accommodate the amazing folks who make our daily ambrosia. I may change the rating on my next visit and drink - 8/31/2018

I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure!

The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. I…read morereally paid around $25 for two drinks, but they were tasty so I'm bouncing back and forth here. Most people have claimed this is the best matcha spot and it's easily up there among the top. Visited on a Friday morning just before rush hour. Lots of people were already seated working and a ton started lining up after us. Honestly surprised the wait hasn't died down more. Not sure what the cup sizes are, but there is a small and large. I'd guess small around 12oz and large around 16oz, but unsure because they like to use the shorter, stubbier cups. Price is steep. Oat milk still costs extra and is not priced in. Sweetness can't be lowered. Most matcha drinks have set sizes and no flexibility. Those are some of the main downsides. Beyond that, everything such as ambiance, coziness, third space vibes, and quality are upsides. Banana Pudding Matcha Latte - this drink is so good. Matcha super smooth, complementing the banana pudding with a soft texture. Matcha is a bit on the sweeter side and cannot be unsweetened, but caters to the general majority. Banana flavor elevates that sugar a bit more but not overly so. Definitely more of a dessert but also a hefty $11 price point. Strawberry Matcha Latte - while the matcha is again smooth, whisked well, and umami, the strawberry jam is nothing special. I personally see strawberry matcha as the older, safe choice for those who disliked the bitter or grassy tones of matcha. Similar idea here, which I think detracts from the quality of the matcha here. Would skip this for any of the other drinks.
